The authors collected 53 consecutive cases of chronic subdural hematoma which were diagnosed by carotid angiography and brain scanning. There were 39 males and 14 females. The mean age was 45.6 years old 80% of all cases had a history of head injury and one of the clinical manifestations of increased intracranial pressure as well as contralateral hemiparesis. The most common site of hematoma was fronto-parietal region. 42 cases were treated with simple drainage and 11 cases with membranectomy. Post-op. course was excellent in all cases of simple drainage, but in 2 cases of membranectomy, recollection of hematoma developed after surgery.

The authors are reporting a case of Letterer-Siwe syndrome of 24 months old female as a from of multivisceral and polyostotic involvement that was associated with multiple skull defects and huge epidural mass. The syndrome was diagnosed at the age of 8 months, and clinical improvement was achieved for more than 16 months by means of chemotherapy and surgical removal of scalp mass.
Direct correlation function of an exactly solvable linear system

The properties of the one-dimensional lattice gas model proposed by Fisher and Widom [M. E. Fisher and B. Widom, J. Chem. Phys., 50 3756(1969)] are examined. The direct correlation function is calculated exactly, and their properties are also investigated at the critical temperature T = 0 and high temperature limit T->∞. We show that the direct correlation function C(k = 0) at critical temperature T = 0 is finite.
Dynamic Version of Density Functional Theory

Two kinds of dynamic versions for density functional theory which are based on the free energy functional series and the weighted density approximation are considered and obtained the nonliner diffusion equations corresponding to their approximations. The strenght and weakness for these approximatons are treated in details, and some basic problems which occur as a consequence of the approximations are briefly discussed. We show that a dynamic version of our proposed weighted density approximation can also be applied to produce higher-order direct correlation functions in uniform liquids.
