Rheumatic fever is an inflammatory disease of the heart, joint, central nervous system, skin, and subcutaneous tissue. It is a nonsuppurative complication of group A streptococcal nasopharyngeal infections. The indicence of rheumatic fever continues to steadily decline in developed countries, but it is still a major problem in developing countries. So we undertook a retrospective chart analysis of the incidence, clinical manifestation, and laboratory findings among 62 patients of rheumatic fever and rheumatic carditis in children of the Chonbuk area during the 10-year period from 1981 to 1990. The following results were obtained : 1) Major manifestations were carditis(88.7%), polyarthritis(25.8%), subcutaneous nodule(9.7%), erythema marginatum(4.8%), and chorea(4.8%). 2) The involved valves in 55 patients with carditis were mitral(100%), aortic(21.8%), and tricuspid valve(10.9%), However pulmonary valve was not involved. The incidence of pericarditis was 12.7%. 3) Sites of involved joints in 24 patients with arthritis and arthralgia included knee(75.0%), ankle(54.2%), wrist(29.2%), hip(20.8%), and shoulder joint(16.7%). 4) Abnormal laboratory findings were increased ASO titer(≧250 Todd Unit) (89.1%), ESR(≧30mm/hr)(71.0%), positive CRP(64.5%), leukocytosis(54.8%), and anemia(Hgb≦10gm%)(19.4%) 5) Abnormal EKG findings were tachycardia(46.8%), PR prolongation(30.6%), QTc prolongation(46.8%), LVH(14.5%), flat T wave(14.5%), and PVC(4.8%) 6) 20 patients in 62 with rheumatic fever(32.3%) had recurrences more that one times.
녹차 용매추출물의 담수어류 질병세균 Aeromonas hydrophila에 대한 항균효과

Antimicrobial effect of green tea extract against pathogenic bacteria, Aeromonas hydrophila was examined by in vitro antimicrobial activity and minimum inhibitory concentration. Among three additives (ethanol extract, neutral and acidic solvent-fractions) from green tea, the neutral fraction of green tea extract showed the highest inhibitory effect in a dose dependent manner. Moreover, scanning electron micrograph examined that neutral fraction of green tea extract could lead to cell membrane breakdown on A. hydrophila showing antimicrobial effect.
비선형 육상 이동 위성방송 환경에서 DS-CDM-SQAM의 성능 연구

In this paper, we p개pose DS-CDM-SQAM(Superposed Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) which is characterized by its smooth phase transition and small envelope fluctuation, and improves the power efficiency as compared to DS-CDM-QPSK of satellited-based DMB system(ITR-R BO.1130-4 System E) in a nonlinearly amplified channel. Computer simulation results show that the proposed DS-CDM-SQAM improves Eb/No by 1.7㏈ to maintain BER=1${\times}$$10^{-3}$ in nonlinearly amplified multipath mobile radio environments. Therefore, the proposed DS-CDM-SQAM system significantly improves the power efficiency in nonlinear land mobile satellite DMB environments.
인공지능(머신러닝)을 활용한 대함 무기효과 추정방안 연구

본 논문은 미국 합동탄약효과 기술조정사무국(JTCG/ME)이 개발한 합동무기 추천체계(JWS)에서 도출된 무기효과 데이터를 기반으로 머신러닝을 이용하여 대함 무기효과를 추정하기 위한 연구이다. 머신러닝 학습에는 합동무기추천체계(JWS)에 포함된 수상함피해효과산출도구(SWET)를 통해 산출된 함대함 및 공대함 무기체계 제원, 교전조건 등의 데이터 2,498건을 활용하였다. 데이터 분석에 주로 쓰이는 머신러닝 방법론 6가지를 선정하여 각각의 방법론을 활용한 예측모델을 생성하였고, 그 결과 ‘Extra Trees’ 방법론이 가장 높은 정확도를 나타내었다. This paper is a study of estimating naval weapon effects using machine learning based on weapon effect data derived from the JMEM Weaponeering System(JWS) de- veloped by the U.S. Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME). Machine learning was applied using 2,498 data points including specifications of anti-ship systems within the JWS, as well as engagement conditions. The data obtained through Ship Weaponeering Estimation Tool(SWET) integrated in the JWS. Six machine learning methodologies, commonly used in data analysis, were selected and predictive models were developed using each of them. The results indicated that the Extra Trees methodology demonstrated the highest level of accuracy.
SIP UA 기반 착선 전환 및 금지 설계에 대한 연구

본 연구에서는 SIP기반으로 착신 전환 및 금지 기능을 제안하고 설계한다. 인터넷 전화는 음성통 화를 기존 전화망이 아닌 인터넷을 통해 이용할 수 있는 새로운 통신 기술로 인터넷 전화를 이용하면 거 리에 제약 없이 전화 서비스를 적은 비용으로 이용할 수 있으며, 확장된 멀티미디어 서비스가 가능하다. 인터넷 전화가 기존 전화망을 대체하기 위해 품질 개선, 과금 문제, 부가서비스 기능 등이 해결되어야 한 다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SIP-Working Group에서 제안한 인터넷 전화 접속관리 프로토콜 SIP(Session Initiation Protoc이)를 이용하여 부가서비스로 활용 가능한 통화 관련 기능 중 착신 전환 기능과 자동 연 결 기능, 사생활 관련 기능 중 착신 금지 기능과 개별 통화 수신 거부 기능을 SIP UA(User Agent) 기반 으로 제안하고 설계 하였다. Internet phone service is a new service technology that provides voice call services through Intemet not through the pre-existing PSTN. It enables a cheap voice call service regardless of distance. We may expect that the 1ntemet phone service may substitute for the voice call service through the PSTN, but not in a short period. There are several problems to be solved for this transition, such as, voice call quality, numbering scheme, billing, standardization, and support of several auxiliary services. In this paper, we provided and designed a UA (User Agent) that can support auxiliary service regarding voice call, such as call forwarding, auto-connection, call rejection and restriction of individual call, using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) which is proposed by SIP-Working Group as the standard Intemet phone service management protocol

We experienced a case of lymphangioma in 10-year-old female patient. Diagnosis was based on clinical picture and characertistic pathologic findings of cyst. The lymphangioma was removed successfully by surgical excision and there and there was no specific complication. The literature about lymphangioma were reviewed.
