본 논문은 세계 인공위성 제작 분야의 시장 동향에 대하여 업체를 중심으로 분석한 결과를 기술한다. 현재 상업위성과 정부수요 위성 제작 분야로 구분되는 위성제작 시장은 연간 100억 달러의 시장규모를 형성하고 있다. 상업위성의 대부분에 해당하는 정지궤도 통신위성은 미국과 유럽의 대형업체에서 이미 선점하고 있고 러시아와 아시아의 일부 국가에서 시장 진입을 시도하고 있는 상황이다. 정부수요 위성 제작 시장은 상대적으로 상업위성 시장보다 진입 장벽이 낮은 분야로써 상대적으로 다양한 업체에서 참여하고 있다. 현재까지 국내 위성개발은 국내 수요에 집중하여 개발되었다. 항후에는 다양한 실용급 위성 개발을 통하여 축적된 기술력을 바탕으로 위성산업 활성화 및 이윤 창출을 위하여 해외로의 위성수출을 진행하는 것이 필요하다. This paper shows the recent trends in satellite manufacturing industry focused on manufacturers. Now, annual market of satellite manufacturing made up commercial and governmental satellite is about 10billion dollar. The market of commercial satellite, mostly GEO communication satellite is occupied by the six main companies in USA and Europe. Recently, new companies from Russia and Asia had entered into the commercial market places. Due to relatively low barrier in order to join the market, various companies had entered into the government satellite market. So far our national satellite development is been concentrated on domestic demand. From now, to invigorate satellite industry and to create profits, it is necessary to head the exportation of the satellite based on technology accumulated by developing several practical satellites
효모 발현 시스템을 이용 PAP(Pokeweed Antiviral Protein) 유전자의 세포독성 연구

PAP-I cDNA was synthesized from total RNA of Phytolacca americana leaves by RT-PCR, and then subcloned to recombinant vector pBluescript II SK-. Using PCR with primers designed in our laboratory, we could get the 9 deletion mutant PAP-I cDNA fragments. The first of the fragments was deleted by 66bp from immature N-terminal and then the rest were deleted by 90bp sequentially. Sequentially deletion mutant PAP-I cDNAs were inserted to pAc55M, on down-stream of gall promoter. Recombinant pAc55M was transformed to yeast cells, psy1 and the cells were spreaded on SC_urn-/glucose plate media. Colonies on SC_ura-/glucose plate were streaked on the same position of SC_ura-/glucose and SC_ura-/galactose plate, and we selected colonies growing on both plates, which carry non-cytotoxic deleted mutant PAP-I cDNA. We selected 4 deletion mutant PAP-I cDNAs which have not cytotoxicity.
담배식물체에 PMT(Putrescine N-Methyltransferase) antisense RNA유전자 도입

Transgenic tobacco plants were selected by using the transformation of putrescine N-methyltransferase(PMT) gene, the key enzyme in diverting polyamine metabolism towards the biosynthesis of nicotine. PMT was fused in reverse orientation to the CaMV 35S promoter of the plant expression vector pBTEX(pPAB3) to produce tobacco plants of low nicotine content. To compare nicotine content, only pBTEX vector and PMT gene which was fused in forward orientation to the CaMV 35S promoter(pPAB2) were also transformed to the leaf tobacco plants(Nicotiana tabacum cv. NC82 and N. tabacum cv. Br2l). The presence of sense- and antisense-PMT gene, and pBTEX vector in the transgenic plant was confirmed by genomic PCR.
Two Cases of Incidentally Diagnosed Idiopathic Left Atrial Appendage Ostial Stenosis

We report here on 2 cases of idiopathic left atrial appendage ostial stenosis (LAA), and this rare finding was detected on transesophageal echocardiography. Its clinical implication is still unknown, given the small number of reported cases. Incompletely ligated LAA has characteristics similar to those observed in idiopathic LAA ostial stenosis, including the narrowed orifice, the small LAA cavity and the accelerated blood flow across the stenotic area. Since the incompletely ligated LAA has been reported to be complicated with thromboembolic events, we can assumed that the patients with idiopathic LAA ostial stenosis have a higher risk of thromboembolism than those with a normal LAA structure.

현재 한국항공우주연구원에서는 2010년도에 발사한 통신해양기상위성인 천리안 위성의 설계 기술을 바탕으로 정지궤도위성의 개발을 진행 중에 있다. 정지궤도위성은 궤도 진입 및 유지를 위하여 상대적으로 저궤도 위성보다 많은 추진제가 필요하다. 따라서, 위성의 건조중량 대비 추진제 무게비율이 크게 되어 구조체에 할당되는 무게가 크지 않다. 가혹한 발사하중에 대해 각종 장비들을 안전하게 지지하기 위해서는 더욱 효율적인 하중경로를 가지는 구조체의 설계가 필요하다. 이로 인하여 일반적으로 정지궤도 위성의 구조체는 경량화와 무거운 추진탱크를 안전하게 지지하는 보강 구조를 가지도록 설계된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 중앙 실린더 구조물을 고려한 경량 위성 구조체의 설계 및 강도해석 결과에 대하여 기술한다. Currently, Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI) is under development of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellite based on technology of Chollian satellite launched in 2010. GEO satellite requires more propellant than that of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite relatively. Therefore, the ratio of dry mass to wet mass of satellite is low. And less mass budget is allocated to structure than that of LEO satellite. To support equipments under severe launch load, satellite structure is required to have efficient load path. For this reason, structure of GEO satellite is designed to have lightweight characteristics and reinforcement structure to support heavy propellant tanks. This paper shows the results of structure design and analysis about light satellite structure having central cylinder.
