This paper presents the full-bridge DC power supply for load test of a 1-kw class DC motor. The proposed power supply achieves high efficiency using pulse-width modulation(PWM) phase shift(PS) switching and the synchronous rectifier technique that reduce losses of the primary and secondary sides of converter, respectively. The improved results of the proposed power supply are shown through the experimental results of the designed and implemented converter prototype based on the operational principles explained in this paper.

This paper presents a high-efficiency DC-DC converter for constant voltage charging of secondary Battery. The operational principle of the proposed converter is explained by each mode. As the proposed converter utilizes the transformer leakage inductor as the resonant inductor, its structure is simplified. It is shown through the experimental results the proposed converter operates excellently as a high efficiency DC-DC converter.
1P-47 Fluorescence Detection of Microcapsule-Type Self-Healing Based on Aggregation-Induced Emission

An extrinsic self-healing coating system containing tetraphenylethylene(TPE) in microcapsules was monitored by measuring aggregation-induced emission(AIE). The core healing agent comprised of methacryloxypropyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, styrene, benzoin isobutyl ether, and TPE was encapsulated in a urea-formaldehyde(UF) shell. The photoluminescence of the healing agent in the microcapsules was measured that the blue emission intensity dramatically increased and the storage modulus also increased up to 105 Pa after the photocuring. These results suggested that this formulation might be useful as a self-healing material and as an indicator of the self-healing process due to the dramatic change in fluorescence during photocuring. To examine the ability of the healing agent to repair damage to a coating, a self-healing coating containing embedded microcapsules was scribed with a razor. As the healing process proceeded, blue fluorescence emission was observed at the scribed regions.
2LC-1 Design of fluorescent blue light-emitting materials for OLEDs

Many technological advances are needed to apply OLEDs in TVs and lighting, but the development of fluorescent materials that emit shortwavelength blue light is especially essential for the future use of OLED displays. Usable fluorescent blue light-emitting materials must not only emit a deep blue light but also be thermally stable, highly efficient and have a long lifetime. There has been recent progress in research on blue fluorescent materials, and a resulting plethora of information. These results require a systematic organization to decipher the relationships between chemical structure and OLED device performance. Also, a systematic classification and understanding of the materials that have already been reported will aid the development and study of new light-emitting materials through quantitative and qualitative approaches.
