A Study on Priority Determination Using Topic-Modeling and AHP

Recently, with the increase in demand for big data analysis, related techniques and tools are being developed, which makes it possible to utilize data that was difficult to analyze by traditional methods. Topic modeling is a useful technique for deriving topics from a vast amount of text, and is often used in research on trends and predictions of academic research or science and technology. However, the topic derived from the topic modeling is a combination of words presented on the basis of the frequency and probability of simultaneous occurrence, and cannot describe the importance or priority of each word. Therefore, in this study, we applied AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique to evaluate the priority of the result derived from topic modeling (Topic). In this study, bibliographic data (total of 15,888 articles) of academic researches related to consulting were collected and used in the analysis of this study in order to suggest prioritization method using Topic-Modeling and AHP.

While the growing interest on the art among consumers, many researches on the art infusion have been conducted. The purpose of this paper is to catagorize the types of art infusion in domestic advertisements in three groups such as simple borrowing, simple modification, and re-interpretation. Through the analysis on the 100 cases of art infusion on the domestic advertising, the paper found the fact that re-interpretation of the artworks, adding creativeness into the painting or reproducing the artworkk was the most popular type being used, followed by simple modification and simple borrowing. It was also found that art works were most widely used in electronic products, services, corporate promotion, sequantially. The most popular painting in advertisements was Vincent van Gogh followd by Leonardo da Vinci, and Da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’was mostly found in the advertisements. It seemed that the paintings that are already well-known to the public had mostly used for advertisements. And when using well-known art works, simple modification or re-interpretation were preferably applied. By doing so, the advertisers could expect to ease the fatigue of frequently used paintings and give positive emotional experiences while taking an advantage from the luxurious images of the paitings.
The Response Prediction of Flexible Pavements Considering Nonlinear Pavement Foundation Behavior

With the current move towards adopting mechanistic-empirical concepts in the design of pavement structures, state-of-the-art mechanistic analysis methodologies are needed to determine accurate pavement responses, such as stress, strain, and deformation. Previous laboratory studies of pavement foundation geomaterials, i.e., unbound granular materials used in base/subbase layers and finegrained soils of a prepared subgrade, have shown that the resilient responses followed by nonlinear, stress-dependent behavior under repeated wheel loading. This nonlinear behavior is commonly characterized by stress-dependent resilient modulus material models that need to be incorporated into finite element (FE) based mechanistic pavement analysis methods to predict more realistically predict pavement responses for a mechanistic pavement analysis. Developed user material subroutine using aforementioned resilient model with nonlinear solution technique and convergence scheme with proven performance were successfully employed in general-purpose FEprogram, ABAQUS. This numerical analysis was investigated in predicted critical responses and domain selection with specific mesh generation was implemented to evaluate better prediction of pavement responses. Results obtained from both axisymmetric and threedimensional (3D) nonlinear FE analyses were compared and remarkable findings were described for nonlinear FE analysis. The UMAT subroutine performance was also validated with the instrumented full scale pavement test section study results from the Federal Aviation Administration’s National Airport Pavement Test Facility (FAA’s NAPTF).
