        대학교육 서비스품질의 중요도-만족도 분석 연구

        Purpose: To increase the competitiveness of the university and improve the quality of education by providing education services that meet the student's satisfaction needs based on the education service quality survey of university students. Methods: A questionnaire consisting of 6 elements and 38 questions was prepared and students were surveyed. The importance and satisfaction ISA analysis was conducted. Results: The results of this study are as follows; there was a difference in the perception of importance and satisfaction by student characteristics regarding the results of educational service quality measurement. Working students need an extra effort in the educational environment and foreign students in student services. Conclusion: The importance of educational service quality-satisfaction survey should be used to identify the factors of educational service quality by student characteristics to improve student satisfaction, improve the quality of education, and support educational services with a strategic approach.

        Kurthia ruminicola sp. nov., isolated from the rumen contents of a Holstein cow

        Gram-staining-positive, motile, rod-shaped bacteria, designated as H31022T and H31024 was isolated from rumen contents of a Holstein cow. Optimum growth occurred at 25°C and pH 7.0 on R2A agar medium. Oxidase and catalase activities are positive. The 16S rRNA gene sequence (1,452 bp) of the new isolates revealed they belong to the genus Kurthia of the phylum Firmicutes. Highest gene sequence similarities were assessed to be with Kurthia massiliensis JC30T (98.4%), Kurthia senegalensis JC8ET (97.5%), and Kurthia populi 10y- 14T (97.4%). Kurthia sibirica DSM 4747T (97.3%), Kurthia zopfii NBRC 101529T (97.0%), and Kurthia gibsonii NCIMB 9758T (96.7%). DNA G + C content of strains H31022T and H31024 were 34.4% and 39.7%. Strains H31022T and H31024 has the following chemotaxonomic characteristics; the major fatty acids are iso-C15:0, iso-C14:0 and anteiso-C15; polar lipid profile contained diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), unknown aminophospholipids (APL), unknown glycolipids (GL), unknown phospholipids (PL), and unknown polar lipids (L); the major quinone is MK-7. Based on polyphasic taxonomic analysis, strains H31022T (= KCTC 33923T = JCM 19640T) and H31024 (= KCTC 33924T = JCM 19641T) identified a novel species in the genus Kurthia for which the name Kurthia ruminicola sp. nov. is proposed.

        Complete genome sequence of Flavisolibacter tropicus LCS9<sup>T</sup>, a radiation resistant bacterium

        Flavisolibacter tropicus $LCS9^T$은 한국 중서부에 위치한 서천 국립생태원 에코리움 내 열대관 토양에서 분리되었다. 이 연구에서 G + C 함량이 41.5%인 5,940,863 bp 의 원형 염색체로 구성된 Flavisolibacter tropicus $LCS9^T$ 의 완전한 게놈서열을 분석하였다. 이 완전한 게놈서열은 5,075 개의 유전자, 337개의 위유전자 그리고 59 개의 rRNA 유전자를 포함하고 있다. 유전체 특징은 감마선 및 UVC 에 대응하는 주요 효소를 포함하였다. Flavisolibacter tropicus $LCS9^T$ was isolated from a soil sample collected from tropical zone within the Ecorium of the National Institute of Ecology in Seocheon, central-western Korea. In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of the bacterium Flavisolibacter tropicus $LCS9^T$, which possesses a circular chromosome comprised of 5, 940,863 bp with the G + C mol content of 41.5%. The genome sequence annotation showed that the complete genome includes 5,075 genes, 337 pseudogenes, and 59 rRNA genes. The radiation resistance genes such as excinuclease UvrABC complex and UvdE were present in the genome.

        Complete genome sequence of Deinococcus swuensis, a bacterium resistant to radiation toxicity

        Deinococcus swuensis DY59T is a Grampositive, coccus-shaped bacterium. Most members of the genus Deinococcus are able to grow in the presence of high levels of chronic radiation toxicity and desiccation because they can protect enzymes from reactive oxygen species generated during ionizing radiation. The mechanisms behind the resistance to radiation toxicity and the genomic features of resistance could be useful to exploit Deinococcus swuensis in the biotechnological applications such as detoxification of xenobiotic contaminated with radioactive wastes. Strain DY59T showed resistance to gamma radiation with a D10 value (i.e. the dose required to reduce the bacterial population by 10-fold) in excess of 5 kGy. However, the genus Deinococcus is slightly characterized at the genome level, despite its potential importance. Thus, the present study determined the features of Deinococcus swuensis DY59T, as well as its genome sequence and annotation. The genome comprised of 3,531,443 bp with a G+C content of 67.4%, which included 3,305 protein-coding genes and 58 RNA genes. Based on the genome annotation, the strain DY59T undergoes prokaryotic type nucleotide excision repair pathway, restores the damaged gene, and resists the ionizing radiation toxicity.

        Complete genome sequence of Spirosoma pulveris JSH 5-14T , a bacterium isolated from a dust sample

        Dust particles from the deserts and semiarid lands in northern China cause pollution that increase the burden of allergic disease particularly in the urban population of East Asia. Dust particles that carried with windstorm are associated with microbial populations, which include virus, bacteria, and fungi. Spirosoma pulveris JSH 5-14T isolated from the gamma ray-irradiated dust sample collected at Nonsan, Chungnam province, South Korea and showed resistance against gamma and UV radiation. We carried out the whole genome sequencing to understand insight of radiation resistance and their mechanisms of survival. The whole genome of strain JSH 5-14T is comprised of 7,188,680 bp (G+C content of 50.50%) including 5,896 protein-coding genes and 52 RNA genes. The genome analysis of strain JSH 5-14T showed the presence of several genes involved in DNA repair pathways and defense mechanism against irradiation. In this study, we discuss the implication of such findings concerning other radiation resistant bacteria.

        Complete genome sequence of Paenibacillus swuensis DY6<sup>T</sup>, a bacterium isolated from gamma-ray irradiated soil

        박테리아 종들은 정교한 효소 시스템의 존재로 인해 이온화 방사선 처리 후에 생존할 수 있는 것으로 보고되어 왔고 몇몇 내생 포자를 생산하는 박테리아 또한 두꺼운 포자껍질의 존재 때문에 방사선에 저항할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 방사선이 조사된 토양의 시료에서 추출된 Paenibacillus swuensis $DY6^T$의 완전한 게놈 서열을 분석하였다. 이 게놈은 G+C 함량이 49.93%인 5,012,599 bp으로 구성되어 있고 단백질 정보를 암호화한 유전자 4,463개와 133개 RNA 유전자를 포함하고 있다. Several bacterial species have been reported to be surviving after the ionizing radiation treatment due to the presence of sophisticated enzymes systems and some endospores producing bacterial strains can also resist, due to the presence of thick spore coat. In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of a bacterium Paenibacillus swuensis $DY6^T$, isolated from an irradiated soil sample. The genome comprised of 5,012,599 bp with the G+C content of 49.93%, the genome included 4,463 protein coding genes and 133 RNA genes.

        엽록체 DNA 염기서열을 이용한 한약재 지모(Anemarrhena asphodeloides)의 기원 확인 및 유연관계 분석

        Anemarrhena asphodeloides (Korean name Ji-Mo) has been used for oriental medicinal purposes in Korea, China and Japan. In this study, 29 A. asphodeloides samples were collected including 3 certified A. asphodeloides plants and many commercially marketed A. asphodeloides products. Chloroplast trnL-F regions of the Ji-Mo samples were sequenced and used to identify whether the samples were genuine A. asphodeloides or not. As the result, the trnL-F sequences of all the Ji-Mo samples were shown to be identical and it was proven that commercially available medicinal products Ji-Mo are genuine A. asphodeloides. Phylogenetic tree of A. asphodeloides using the trnL-F sequences was constructed and compared with phylogenetic tree using rubisco large subunit (rbcL) gene sequences. In these tree, A. asphodeloides was affiliated in the family Agavaceae in the order Asparagales. It is proven that trnL-F phylogenetic tree is useful to study taxonomic position of A. asphodeloides.

        A report of 14 unrecorded bacterial species in Korea isolated in 2017

        Fourteen bacterial strains, low10-4-1, J11015, 17J27-22, 17G22-9, 17G9-4, 17Bio_15, 17gy_33, 17SD1_21, Strain8, 17Sr1_17, J21014T, H31021, 17J49-9, and 17J80-6 assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Deinococcus-Thermus, and Firmicutes were isolated from soil samples. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequence revealed that strains low10-4-1, J11015, 17J27-22, 17G22-9, 17G9-4, 17Bio_15, 17gy_33, 17SD1_21, Strain8, 17Sr1_17, J21014T, H31021, 17J49-9, and 17J80-6 were most closely related to Marmoricola aurantiacus (98.9%), Calidifontibacter indicus (99.8%), Gordonia soli (98.8%), Rhodococcus globerulus (99.5%), Pseudarthrobacter siccitolerans (99.1%), Hymenobacter qilianensis (98.7%), Hymenobacter terrae (99.0%), Deinococcus yunweiensis (99.2%), Deinococcus proteolyticus (99.7%), Domibacillus indicus (99.2%), Exiguobacterium mexicanum (100.0%), Kurthia senegalensis (99.1%), Lysinibacillus composti (99.6%), and Bacillus loiseleuriae (99.3%). These fourteen species have never been reported in Korea, therefore we report them here for the first time.

        A report of unrecorded bacterial species of Korea isolated in 2016, belonging to the family Deinococcaceae and Planctomycetaceae

        In 2016, as part of a larger effort to discover indigenous prokaryotic species in Korea, we isolated the family Deinococcaceae and Planctomycetaceae as unrecorded bacterial species. From the high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity (>98.5%) and formation of a robust phylogenetic clade with known species, it was determined that each strain was a distinct bacterial species. There are no official reports that these two species have been described in Korea; therefore, the bacterial strains of Deinococcus and Blastopirellula are described for the first time in Korea. Gram reaction, colony and cell morphology, basic biochemical characteristics, and isolation sources are also described in the species description section.
