Visual MODFLOW 지하수 유동 모델링을 위한 GIS 기반 전,후처리기 개발

In this study GIS based pre- and post-processing tool for the Visual MODFLOW that is specific software to model groundwater flow is developed. This tool not only makes input data scientifically but also manages input and output data in terms of the groundwater flow analysis. In addition it can storage project products systematically into Oracle database. The most characteristic figure of this processing tool is to provide the module, which automatically or semi automatically develops various grid cell sizes using GIS ArcView and also produces DXF files reflecting various boundary conditions in the modeling zone. In particular, eminences of this research are to create 3 dimensional hydrogeological structures with 2 dimensional GIS ArcView and to conduct pre- and post- processing along with same topology and data format of the MODFLOW.
수치표고모형(DEM)의 해상도가 물리 결정 일괄 매개변수 수문모형의 모의 결과에 미치는 영향 평가

Ground slope and aspect are important parameters for physical deterministic water balance models like BROOK90 or hydrological models which attempt to calculate evapotranspiration, snowmelt, and net radiation. This study constructs a Digital Elevation Model(DEM) and examines how DEM resolution can change the average ground slope and aspect of a river basin and attempts to evaluate the effects on simulation results of BROOK90, a physical deterministic water balance model. The study area is Byungcheon river basin in Korea. DEM has been constructed using a 1:25,000 digital map with the methods of TIN and Topo To Raster. The total of 20 DEMs with 10m∼100m resolution have been constructed, with a 10m interval. It was found that the higher the DEM resolution, the steeper the average ground slope value of the Byungcheon river basin. In turn, the direct solar radiation of a hilly area in the model increased the evapotranspiration and reduced the stream runoff in the Byungcheon river basin. On the other hand, a lower DEM resolution tends to move the average aspect from southeast to south in the Byungcheon river basin. Accordingly, it was found that stream runoff was reduced and evapotranspiration increased.
GIS 기반 중,소규모 하천의 수문지형 물리적 구조평가 체계 개발

Recently, there have been many projects regarding restoration of streams to recover their environmental and ecological functions. For the restoration of streams, it is valuable academically and economically to evaluate the ecological condition of streams and build a plan and an object for restoring streams based on that. On the other hand, one of the methods to figure out the ecological condition of streams is to evaluate the hydromorphological structure of stream. In this study we have developed a field survey system using the stream assessment methode of LAWA (Laenderarbeitsgemeinschaft Wasser in Germany) that can assess the hydromorphological structure of small and medium streams. In addition, we constructed a GIS-based stream assesment system which can support auto mapping system and report writing, using the survey results. These systems are aimed to help people in the area of restoring streams perceive the natural and ecological condition of streams in the process of making plans and managing the projects, and they also try to help in collecting raw data to determine an ideal potential model to which an existing stream should be turned.

This study was conducted to analyze the development of valley floor and sand-gravel bar of Naechon stream, which is a tributary of upper Hong-Cheon river. The results of this study showed considerable changes in the direction and valley floor width of Naechon stream. The diversity of rocks determined the shape and characteristics of sand-gravel bar in the sections of Naechon stream`s valley floor. Even for small sub-basins, which are part of the upper stream basins, we recognized that their stream geomorphology must be studied by considering the development of rock distribution, shape of the valley floors and sand-gravels bar within the basin. This study which focuses on small basins in Korea is expected to provide basic data for comparative studies on many small basins in this area.
예보모델과 GIS를 기반한 대청호의 남조류 발생에 대한 조기예보시스템 개발

To anticipate and respond to harmful algae produced in a big artificial lake like Daecheong reservoir, development of a regional analysis computer system using GIS or RS technique is needed in addition to biological and chemical research. The purpose of this study is to develop a cyanobacterial blooming prediction model to prevent harmful algae produced in Daecheong reservoir and construct an early forecasting system based on GIS. For this purpose this paper examines previous studies related to the relationship between cyanobacteria and environmental factors in Daecheong reservoir and selects precipitation and air temperature as two important environmental factors for the development of cyanobacterial blooming prediction model. Data used in this study are water quality and weather data for three water regions in Daecheong reservoir between 2000 and 2004. Based on qualitative correlation analysis between cyanobacteria and environmental factors, this paper presents a Rump model which enables us to predict cyanobacteria in water regions of Daecheong reservoir. Under this model the prediction of initial occurrence time and growth period of cyanobacteria are possible. The model is also applied to the GIS-based early forecasting system for cyanobacteria, and finally a GIS which can predict cyanobacteria produced in Daecheong reservoir and can manage the related data is developed.
