      • Multiprocessor에서의 Deadlock 방지를 위한 Mapping Algorithm

        보다 강력한 computer power를 요구하게 되고 이에따라 multiprocessor 시스템이 등장하게 되었다. 그러나 processor수의 증가에 비하여 그 효율성은 비례하지 못하는 실정이다. 이는 processor와 이에 대응되는 process가 조화를 이루지 못한것이 주요한 이유이다. 따라서 보다 효율적인 시스템을 이루기위하여 procesor와 process와의 mapping이 문제시 된다. 특히 분산처리환경하에서는 이러한문제가 시스템의 성능을 좌우하게 되는것이다. 본연구에서는 multiprocessor및 분산처리환경하에서의 일반적인 mapping문제를 해결하기위한 mapping algorithm을 다루었고, 이를 실현하기위하여 architecture에 pseudo processor를 도입하여 mapping과 process 사이에서 자원활당으로 인하여 발생되는 dead-lock를 해결하기위한 algorithm을 제안하였다. 그리고 map algorihm을 구현하기위하여 objective function을 도입, process들의 가변적 상황에 대응하기위하여 extended matrix로 이를 실현하였다. 그러나 제안된 algorithm은 단순 환경하에서는 실현이 가능하나 복잡한 시스템에서는 이를 위한 보다 많은 연구가 필요하다. Nowdays, Computer system has s more computing power in multiprocessors. The mapping problem is issued to interconnection between process and processes in the multiprosessor systems and distributed system. The pourse of study is to proposed a new mapping algorithm to implement for those systems. The algorithm is taken pseudo processor to resource allocation and to slove a dead-lock problem between processor and processes. To implement map algorithm, We propose objective function to flexible situations with extended matrix. Also It make only good result for small systems. But it need more study in complex systems.

        수중 네트워크에서 제안된 CSMA/CA 프로토콜의 평가

        본 논문은 기존의 CSMA/CA 프로토콜의 지연시간을 감소시키고 전송률을 증가시키기 위해 제안된 CSMA/CA 프로토콜에 관한 연구이다. 수중환경에서 긴 전파시간에 의해 충돌확률이 증가하고, 전송효율이 감소함에 따라 프로토콜의 성능은 저하된다.이러한 전파시간을 고려하여 본 논문에서는 기존의 CSMA/CA 프로토콜의 의 TimeOut 상황을 피하기 위해 CTS 패킷에 STANDBY 프레임을 삽입하여 전송하는 프로토콜을 제안한다. 모의실험 결과, 제안하는 프로토콜이 기존 프로토콜보다 처리율에서 약 20% 정도의 성능향상을 보였고, 전파지연 대 전송지얀 a의 값이 작을수록 성능이 우수함을 확인하였다. The purpose of this paper is to propose a CSMA/CA protocol to reduce the delay time and increase the throughout of the original CSMA/CA protocol. In underwater environments, the efficiency of the protocol is reduce due to the increase of the propagation delay time, which results in increase of the collision possibility causing lowering of the transmission efficieocy. Coosidering this propagation delay, this paper propose to insat the STANDBY frame in a CTS packet in order to avoid the TimeOut status of the CCSMA/CA protocol. According to the simulated test results, proposed protocol is increased abou 20% throughput than original CSMA/CA protocol. And the more value of propagation per transmission delay 'a' is low, the mre throughput of protocol is better.

        External Auditory Canal Atresia with Otitis Media in a Dog

        A 5-year-old, intact male, poodle dog with right external auditory canal obstruction and subaural mass was presented. Physical examination revealed that right external auditory canal opening was absent and right head tilt was identified. Aspiration in right subaural mass revealed a small amount of dark brown exudate. Streptococcus canis and Staphylococcus spp. were identified on the microbial culture. Radiography of the skull was revealed absence of air-filled ear canal at the right external ear canal (EEC) level. Computed tomography (CT) revealed well capsulated, hypoattenuated mass in the right EEC region. On the contrast enhanced CT images, rim enhancement around the mass and ear canal obstruction were identified. Fluid attenuated material filled with right bulla. Mild thickening of the right tympanic bulla wall with mild lytic lesion of the ventral wall were found. Based on the images findings, the case was tentatively diagnosed as right external auditory canal atresia with otitis media. Total ear canal ablation and lateral bulla osteotomy was performed. The entire ear canal was removed, numerous hair in the canal and the thickening wall were founded. Right ear canal was sent for histopathological evaluation and found to otitis externa. The patient was followed up for two weeks and there were no complications. This report described the CT diagnosis of right EEC atresia with otitis media rarely reported in small breed dogs.

        Characteristics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Findings in 32 Dogs Diagnosed with Meningoencephalitis of Unknown Etiology

        The purpose of this retrospective study was to describe the characteristics of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in dogs with meningoencephalitis of unknown etiology (MUE), and to evaluate the usefulness of meningeal enhancement. Thirty-two dogs were included in MUE group on the basis of clinical signs, MRI findings and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) results, and for comparison of the meningeal enhancement, twenty-three dogs with normal MRI, normal CSF and no clinical sign were included in the control group. The evaluated MRI findings included lesion site, lesion number, signal intensity of each MRI sequence, mass effect, perilesional edema, contrast enhancement, and meningeal enhancement. The MUE was most frequently associated with multiple lesions (50%) with perilesional edema (72%) in forebrain (66%) that were hyperintense (92%) in T2W and FLAIR images. Of the meningeal enhancement, there was no significant difference between the control group and the MUE groups in the pachymeningeal enhancement. However, leptomeningeal (or both) enhancement was found relatively high proportion in the MUE group than in the control group (P < 0.001, Odd ratio = 10.26), and based on this result, leptomeningeal (or both) enhancement is considered to be significant finding for indicating MUE.
