So systematic approach of the GEUKWON(極元)-Philosophy, the next task meaning in the Korean philosophy. 소래 김중건은 일제 식민지치하라는 역사가 만들어 낸 비운의 이상주의자다. 일찍이 한학을 익혀 서당을 운영했고, 신학문에 눈을 뜬후에는 국내와 만주를 무대로 수많은 학교를 세워 신교육에 헌신했다. 1909년 천도교에 입교하여 그의 사상적 포부를 바탕으로 조국독립을 꾀하려 했으나, 기존의 천도교단을 통한 독립운동에 크게 낙담을 했다. 그리고 고향으로 낙향한 뒤 독자적인 우주관을 정립하고 천도교 교단의 개혁을 촉구하는 등, 진보적 외침을 토해냈지만, 오히려이로 인해 출교를 당했다. 그 후 김중건은 잡지를 발행하여 사상계몽과 독립의식을 고취시키다 일제에 체포되는 등의 우여곡절을 겪었고, 북만주의 황무지 지역에 어복촌을 건설하여 공동 생산과 공동 분배가 이루어지는 이상적농촌공동체를 세우기도 했다. 이 어복촌의 공동체에서는 평소 교육과 군사 훈련이 동시에 이루어졌기 때문에, 만주사변 이후 부대를 일으켜 일본군과 전투를 벌이기도 했다. 이러한 역정에서 만들어진 철학이 극원철학이다. 주인이 주인 노릇을 할 때 사람이 곧 하늘이요하늘이 곧 사람이 된다고 외쳤던 그는, 한국적 사유관념이 녹아있는우주관·절대자관·인간관·세계관 등을 극원철학 속에 폭넓게 나타냈다. 우선 종교적인 교(敎)가 아닌 법(法)이나 도(道)를 강조하면서, 이론적·수리적 원종교(元宗敎)를 내세웠던 김중건의 자취에서 하느님관념이 확연 드러난다. 또한 그가 세운 원종교(元宗敎)의 원종(元宗)이 우리 전래의 종사상(倧思想)과도 밀접하다는 것도 확인할 수 있다. 한편 원·방·각 관념이 극원철학의 한 부분에 짙게 드러나고 있는데, 하늘·땅·사람에 연결시켜 설명한 김중건의 여러 내용에서그러한 사고가 그대로 투영된다. 더불어 그는 극원철학의 핵심 가운데 하나인 ‘원(元)’을 조물주의 개념으로 인식하였고, 하늘이란 땅과사람과 더불어 천·지·인 삼재(三才)의 권능으로 인식하였다. 또한인간의 문제 역시 3수의 논리로 파악했으며, 이러한 3의 수리가 곧‘1·3·3·1[一而分三 會三歸一]’의 원리로 운용됨을 피력했다.

일제하 항일운동 배경으로서의 단군의 위상

In addition, the background of the armed struggle of DAEJONGGYO, based on ‘敎學一如(the religion and school is one)’and to sustain the spirit of ‘軍敎一致(the military and religion is one)’, of course, from the background and activities of the Provisional Government,even the spirit of DANGUN had been in hiding. This DANGUN-faith oriented point of the philosophical attributes of love itself, ‘You and I’ and not ‘our’ life-oriented and effective, ‘a closed society’ beyond the ‘open society’ is to promote, ‘alone worth living’ and not ‘worth living together’and in that connection, I’ve found in the The people talk of the possibility of the world’s liberal interpretation would also remained open. 우리 민족사에 있어 단군은 민족 구난의 상징적 존재였다. 단군구국론이란 바로 이러한 의식을 통해 민족의 위난을 극복코자 했던 우리의 정서를 말한다. 단군이라는 정신가치가 우리 민족 현대사 미친영향은 크다. 정치ㆍ경제ㆍ사회ㆍ문화 등 민족사회 전반에 혁명적인변화를 가져왔기 때문이다. 물론 이와 같은 단기간의 혁명적 영향력의* (사)국학연구소 연구원132 仙道文化 제 10 권뒤에는, 대종교가 갑자기 만들어진 것이 아니라 우리 민족사의 바닥에 연면히 흘러온 단군신앙의 현대적 부활체로써, 당시대의 많은 지식인들이 대종교를 신앙 또는 국조숭배를 통한 국교적(國敎的) 정서로 인식했던 것과 관련이 있다. 단군정신의 항일투쟁 무력적인 측면이나 문화적인 측면, 그리고사상적 측면 등 다양하게 나타나지만, 그 정신적 배경은 역시 단군으로 일치된다. 즉 대종교의 중광을 통한 단군신앙의 부활은 민족의 성지인 배달국토를 되찾아야 한다는 주권적 명분과 함께, 배달국이상향 건설이라는 종교적 명분이 동시에 작용했던 것이다. 주시경 등으로 대표되는 한글운동의 배경이나, 김교헌 등의 민족주의사학의 바탕, 그리고 신규식 등의 활동으로 만들어지는 사상투쟁의 토대에는 단군이라는 정신적 배경이 굳게 자리하고 있었다. 또한 북로군정서 등의 대종교 무력투쟁의 배경에도 교학일여(敎學一如)를 통한 군교일치(軍敎一致)의 정신이 지탱하고 있었음은 물론, 임시정부 태동의 배경이나 활동에서도 단군의 정신 깊숙이 숨쉬고 있었다. 일제시기 민족운동의 정신적 배경으로 대종교를 일으킨 나철 등의지도층의 영향력은 실로 지대했다. 그것은 그들이 단군정신 상징하는 인물들로서, 수많은 교도들을 거느리고 그들 스스로가 개인의 영달과 명예를 뒤로한 채 멸사봉공(滅私奉公)을 통한 살신성인의 길을기꺼이 걸어갔기 때문이다. 특히 이러한 정신을 통한 항일투쟁의 과정에서 종교나 이념을 초월하여 단군정신으로 합심하였다는 것은, 우리 민족의 역사적 경험이 일깨우는 바와 같이, 우리에게 있어 단군의 상징적 의미가 무엇이라는 것을 분명히 가르쳐준 교훈이었다. 한편 투쟁의 질적(質的)인면에서도 단순한 증오와 구축을 위한 싸움이 아니라, 철학이 있는 싸움ㆍ정사(正邪)를 구별하는 싸움을 가능케 한 것도 바로 단군정신이다. 일제하 항일운동 배경으로서의 단군의 위상ㆍ김동환 133이것은 단군정신의 궁극적 지향점인 홍익인간이라는 철학적 속성자체가 ‘너와 나’가 아닌 ‘우리’를 지향하는 삶이요, ‘닫힌 사회’를 넘어 ‘열린 사회’를 도모하는 것이며, ‘끼리만 사는 가치’가 아닌 ‘더불어 사는 가치’와 연결된다는 점에서, 근자에 회자되는 민족에 대한세계주의적 해석의 가능성도 열어두었던 것이다.

Current status of image-based surveillance in hepatocellular carcinoma

Although the overall prognosis of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains poor, curative treatment may improve the survival of patients diagnosed at an early stage through surveillance. Accordingly, ultrasonography (US)-based HCC surveillance programs proposed in international society guidelines are now being implemented and regularly updated based on the latest evidence to improve their efficacy. Recently, other imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging have shown potential as alternative surveillance tools based on individualized risk stratification. In this review article, we describe the current status of US-based surveillance for HCC and summarize the supporting evidence. We also discuss alternative surveillance imaging modalities that are currently being studied to validate their diagnostic performance and cost-effectiveness.

만성 B형 간염 환자에서 재조합형 알파 인터페론(Intron-A)의 효과

We evaluated the effect of recombinant alpha interferon(Intron-A, Schering) in 30 patients with chronic hepatitis B. They included 24 men and six women, ages 17 to 53 years(mean 37), with elevated serum AST and ALT; 41 to 789 U/㎗(mean 275) and 78 to 689 U/㎗(mean 280), respectively. All patients had serum hepatitis B surface antigen(HBeAg) longer than three years, and hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg). Liver biopsies before therapy revealed chronic active heaptitis(CAH) in 80% and active cirrhosis in 20%. The patients were randomized into two groups: those who received Intron-A(16 patients) and those who had no therapy(14 patients). Intron-A was administered in doses of 3 million units(MU) every other day for four months and followed-up longer than one and half years. The ALT level returned to normal in 15 of 16(94%) treated patients during therapy, and 4/16 subsequently lost HBV-DNA and HBeAg. In 3/16(19%), serum ALT rebounded and HBeAg reappeared at the 21st week in one and the 54th week in the others. Serum HBeAg persisted in nine of 16 cases(56%), but serum ALT returned to normal level in five patients. In contrast, 3/14(21%) untreated patients showed improvement of serum ALT level at the 6th, 24th and 52nd week of follow-up, respectively, and two subsequently lost HBV -DNA and HBeAg. But nine of 14(64%) patients showed multiple episodes of serum ALT fluctuation during the follow-up period. This study shows that the alternate-day interferon alpha therapy for four months may be effective in some patients with chronic hepatitis B. But because of relatively low significant effect in the treated patients, compared with the untreated, studies with larger number of patients are ncessary to evaluate the duration and the dosage of interferon alpha.

Measurement of the Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter with Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Its Association with Eyeball Diameter in Healthy Adults

Background and Purpose The optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) is an indirect marker of the intracranial pressure, but the normal range of ONSD as measured using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and its associations with clinical parameters and the eyeball transverse diameter (ETD) remain unclear. Methods We included 314 healthy adults who underwent brain MRI examinations for health screening between June 2014 and September 2017. The ONSD and ETD of each eye were calculated using time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography. Linear regression analyses were performed to assess the relationships between ONSD and variables including age, sex, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), mean arterial blood pressure (MABP), intraocular pressure (IOP), and ETD. We further investigated a normative value for the ONSD/ETD ratio and its associated factors. Results The mean ONSD and ETD were 4.71 mm [95% confidence interval (CI), 4.66–4.75 mm] and 21.24 mm (95% CI, 21.13–21.35 mm), respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that ONSD was only associated with ETD (p<0.001), with it being independent of age, sex, height, weight, BMI, MABP, and IOP. The ONSD/ETD ratio had a mean value of 0.22 (95% CI, 0.22–0.22), and was not correlated with age, sex, height, weight, BMI, MABP, or IOP. Conclusions This study determined the normative value of MRI-based ONSD in healthy Korean adults. There was a strong correlation between the ETD and ONSD, which can be presented as the ONSD/ETD ratio. This parameter needs to be investigated further in disease populations.

청년을 위한 금융정책의 필요성과 과제

□ 주요 선진국의 청년정책은 일자리, 교육 · 훈련, 주거, 복지 등의 환경을 조성하기 위해 정부 부처간 연계 및 정부-민간 파트너쉽 등을 적극 활용하고 있음. □ 우리나라 청년층은 타 연령층에 비해 자산 · 소득이 낮아 부채부담이 크고, 금융부채를 통해 부동산 투자를 늘리는 경향이 있으며, 특히 저소득 청년층의 경우 전월세보증금 마련에 신용대출을 많이 활용하고 있음. □ 저소득 청년을 포함한 청년층에게는 가급적 이른 나이부터 장기 · 분산 · 적립식 자산형성 수단 및 전월세보증금 등을 지원하고, 채무불이행에 빠질 경우 신용회복지원을 확대하되 실업 및 경제안정화 대책과의 정합성을 제고할 필요가 있음. □ 청년금융은 공공성이 높고 리스크를 동반하는 시장실패 영역에 해당할 수 있기 때문에 일정 부분 정부나 정책금융기관에 의해 보완되는 것이 불가피함. □ 또한 청년금융은 일자리 · 교육 · 훈련과 복지 · 생활안정의 맞춤형 통합지원, 정부 · 지자체 · 교육기관 · 산업계 · NPO와의 연계지원 등이 바람직하며, 이를 위해 청년금융정책 컨트롤타워를 구축하고 정 부-민간 파트너쉽을 강화할 필요가 있음.

디지털 시대 은산분리 규제의 타당성에 관한 실증연구

글로벌 금융그룹의 경우 은행-비은행 겸업은 이해상충 및 공적안전망 혜택 누수의 문제를 야기할 가능성이 있음. 한편 국내 금융그룹의 경우 은행-비은행 겸업은 은행의 건전성을 훼손할 가능성을 배제할 수 없지만 금융그룹의 성장성 · 수익성에는 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수도 있음. 빅테크 등 ICT기업이 은산분리 규제의 대상이 될 수 있다는 전제 하에, 이들 비금융회사의 은행업 진입에는 신중을 기할 필요가 있음. 그 대신 은행의 ICT업무 및 ICT기업 소유에 관한 규제를 완화하여 은행으로 하여금 주도적으로 금융 디지털화를 추진하도록 할 필요가 있음.
