This paper describes evaluation and monitoring methods of machining characteristics for developed micro grooving machine. Experiments were conducted under various process conditions such as spindle revolution speed, feed rates and depth of groove V and U shape of blade and STD11 were used in this experiment. The status of grooving was evaluated through analysis of the Acoustic emission (AE) signal resulted in each process condition. Based on the analysis, this paper examined the possibility of monitoring adapting fuzzy logic. In conclusion, this paper presented the possibility of monitoring in process adapting AE technology and appropriate micro grooving condition.

Purpose: Blepharoptosis can result from either congenital or acquired causes. Blow out fracture or facial bone fracture including blow out fracture can be one of the causes. Authors experienced 3 cases of severe blepharoptosis after blow out fracture treated only with observation after reduction of associated fracture. Methods: Reconstruction of orbital wall was conducted on all cases diagnosed as blow out fracture using 3 dimensional computed tomography, and conservative treatment was done on accompanying severe blepharoptosis. Results: At the time of injury, all cases showed severe blepharoptosis requiring frontalis muscle transfer for correction. But blepharoptosis was recovered in an average of 18 weeks without any surgical procedure except reconstruction of orbital wall. Conclusion: Once Blepharoptosis occurred after blow out fracture, thorough evaluation must be done at first. If definitive cause of blepahroptisis cannot be found as authors' cases, injury of oculomotor nerve may result in blepharoptosis. So, as for blepharoptosis after blow out fracture, conservative treatment following reconstruction of fractured orbital wall can be one of good management.

This paper presents an implementation of digital position control system of induction motor vector drives using the 16bit DSP TMS320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for induction motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are position, speed and current sensing, sine look-up table and generated SVPWM by fully integrated control software. The developed system are shown a good position control response characteristic results and high performance features using 22K w induction motor.

최근에는 전동 공구(Power tools)와 가전 제품에 있어서 전자적인 전류(Commutation)를 사용하는 새로운 형태의 브러시리스 전동기인 플럭스 스위칭 전동기(Flux switching motor)에 대한 관심이 점차적으로 증가되고 있으며, 특히 팬과 펌프 시장에 있어서는 그린 정책으로 인하여 플럭스 스위칭 전동기에 대한 관심이 급격히 증가되고 있다. 플럭스 스위칭 전동기는 유도전동기에 비해서는 높은 전력 밀도(power density)와 상대적으로 높은 효율, 그리고 브러시리스 DC 전동기에 비해서는 간단한 전동기 구조와 가격 경쟁력이라는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 팬 용도로 제작된 12/6 폴을 가지는 플럭스 스위칭 전동기 드라이브 구성을 위해 전용 IC를 사용하여 제작하였으며, 제작된 시스템의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서 실험결과를 제시한다.

This paper presents an implementation of digital motion control system of Induction Motor(IM) vector drives with a direct torque control(DTC) using the 32bit DSP TMS320C31 The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent control for motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are stator flux and torque observer of stator flux feedback model that inputs are current and voltage sensing of motor terminal and rotor angle for a low speed operating area, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, and IGBT voltage source inverter by using fully integrated control software. The developed control system are shown a good speed control response characteristic results and high performance features in general purposed 2.2[kW] machine. The system can be adapted variform motor drive system.
