In this study, the performance improvement of a refrigerator with a time divided multi (TDM) cycle is experimentally investigated by optimizing system parameters. Generally, the TDM type refrigerator cycle shows higher humidity and energy efficiency than a serial type refrigerator cycle. The experiments were conducted in a bench scale TDM type refrigerator by varying the capacity of a suction line heat exchanger, a capillary tube size in the freezer side, and refrigerant charge with a refrigerant storage vessel. The bench tester consisted of the same components used in the refrigerator, which simulated the operating characteristics of the actual refrigerator. The optimization of the capillary tube in the freezer side yielded significant improvement of energy efficiency in the freezer only mode. The performance of each modified cycle was represented in detail in this study.

본 연구의 배경과 목적은 코로나감염증-19의 재확산으로 인해 소득이 감소된 피해계층을 위한 2차 긴급재난지원금 정책결정과정을 설명하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 킹돈의 정책결정과정 모형을 근거로 문헌연구를 하였다. 재난지원금은 최근에 실시된 복지정책으로 본 연구가 시의적절하고, 또한 재난상황에서 정부의 정책적 대처과정을 알 수 있다는 점에 의의가 있다. 언론은 어려운 경제상황을 보도함으로 문제의 흐름에서 중요한 역할을 하였다. 민주당 의원들과 소상공인연합회가 정치적 흐름을 주도했다. 민주당의 지도부가 정책대안의 흐름에서 중요한 역할을 하였으며, 학자나 전문가들의 활동은 미미했다. 민주당이 정책결정에 결정적인 역할을 한 것으로 나타났다. 결국 피해를 많이 입은 계층을 지원하는 선별지급으로 재난지원금 정책이 결정되었다. 결정과정은 1차 재난지원금결정에 비해서도 짧았고 매우 급박하게 진행되었다. 앞으로 재난상황에 대비하기 위한 중장기적 과제로 전 국민 고용보험, 국가재난기금 조성의 법제화 등이 논의되고 있지만 조속한 실현이 필요하다. The background and purpose of this study is to explain the second emergency disaster support policy decision process for the affected class whose income has been reduced due to the re-spreading of COVID-19. To this end, literature research was conducted based on the model of Kingdon’s policy-making process. The disaster aid fund is meaningful in that the recent welfare policy is timely and also shows the government's policy process in disaster situations. The media played an important role in the flow of problems by reporting difficult economic conditions. Lawmakers of the Democratic Party and the Small Business Association led the political trend. The leadership of the Democratic Party played an important role in the flow of policy alternatives, and the activities of scholars and experts were minimal. The Democratic Party of Korea played a decisive role in policy decision making. Eventually, the disaster aid policy was decided by selective payments to support the heavily damaged class. The decision process was also short compared to the first disaster support fund decision and was very urgent. In the future, legislation to create a national employment insurance and national disaster fund is being discussed as a mid-to long-term task to prepare for the disaster situation, but it needs to be realized as soon as possible.
바이패스유로 멀티사이클을 적용한 냉동시스템의 성능특성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of a bypass two-circuit refrigerator. A bench scale refrigeration system was designed and constructed to estimate possible performance improvement of the bypass two-circuit refrigerator. The experiments were conducted in the bench scale refrigeration system by varying capacity of the condenser and refrigerant charge amount with an adoption of a refrigerant storage vessel. The COPs of the bypass two-circuit refrigeration system in the refrigerator and freezer (RF)-mode and freezer(F) only-mode were increased by 10% and 17%, respectively, with increasing the capacity of the condenser. Besides, the COP of the system in the F only-mode was increased by 10% by adopting the refrigerant storage vessel.

Materials design and processing development proposed in this research, aims at contributing to low price wear resistant automobile diesel engine parts. Dense bonding layer products were fabricated by solid diffusion bonding method. The hardness and TRS values obtained were 88HRA and 120㎏/㎟, respectively. Finally, teamwork consisting of company, university and research center will give them a chance of learning, processing, theory and applications in machine parts and will help domestic automobile industries internationally competitive.

Thermal batteries are primary reserve power sources, which are activated upon the melting of eutectic electrolytes by the ignition of heat sources. Therefore, sufficient thermal insulation is absolutely needed for the stable operation of thermal batteries. Currently, excessive amount of heat sources is being used to compensate the heat loss in the cell stack along with the insertion of metal plates and thermal insulators to reserve heat at the both ends of cell stack. However, there is a possibility that the excessive heat flows into the cell stack, causing a thermal runaway at the early stage of discharge. At the same time, the internal temperature of thermal batteries cannot be maintained above the battery operating temperature at the later stage of discharge because of the insufficient insulation. Therefore, the effects of Phase Changing Material(PCM) plates were demonstrated in this study, which can replace the metal and insulating plates, to improve the thermal insulation performance and safety of thermal batteries.

열전지의 전해질은 용융염이 주성분이라서, 용융염 전지라고도 불린다. 용융염 전해질은 평소에는 전기가 흐르지 않는 고체이지만, 화약 열원에 의해 녹으면 탁월한 이온 전도체가 된다. 따라서 열전지는 일종의 `화약 전지`이다. 화약의 열에너지로 용융염 전해질을 녹여야만 비로소 작동하게 되기 때문이다. 열전지에 사용되는 파이로테크닉 부품은 착화기, 점화스트립, 열원이 있다. 이들 파이로테크닉 부품의 신뢰성은 열전지의 안전성은 물론 성능에도 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서 열전지가 요구하는 파이로테크닉 성능을 중심으로 부품 개발 연구결과를 정리하였다. Thermal batteries are also called molten-salt batteries as the main composition of electrolyte is molten salt. The molten-salt electrolyte is a solid that does not conduct electricity at room temperature, but when it is melted by the pyrotechnic heat source, it becomes an excellent ion conductor. Thermal battery is a kind of pyrotechnic battery because it operates only when the solid electrolyte is melted by the heat energy of pyrotechnic materials. Pyrotechnic components used in a thermal battery include heat sources, fuse strips, and an igniter. The reliability of these pyrotechnic components greatly affects the safety and performance of the battery. This paper summarizes the results of the research focusing on the pyrotechnic devices and their performance required by thermal batteries.

Thermal batteries are also called molten-salt batteries as the electrolyte is mainly composed of molten salt. The molten-salt electrolyte is a solid that does not conduct electricity at room temperature, but when it is melted by a pyrotechnic heat source, it becomes an excellent ionic conductor. Thermal batteries are a kind of pyrotechnic battery because they operate only when the solid electrolyte is melted by the heat energy provided by pyrotechnic materials. Pyrotechnic components used in a thermal battery include heat sources, fuse strips, and an igniter. The reliability of these pyrotechnic components critically affects the reliability and performance of the battery that must supply electricity stably to guided munitions even under extreme environmental conditions. Different igniter types offer different advantages: notch-type igniters offer improved ignition probability, whereas film-type igniters offer improved safety. The addition of metal oxides to the heat paper could improve the burn rate, and the ignition reliability could be greatly improved by using it with a flame igniter at the same time. Using a two-step reduction process, high-purity Fe particles in coral form can be safely obtained.
