        Sharp edge is the big issue for door trim item because it is a regulation in a few specific countries. In order to solve the sharp edge problem, advanced research has focused on the development of the test method that reproduce the sharp edge of door trim for auto part manufactures. However, that problem is not solved and continuously happened. In this paper, we analyze the present process of sharp edge and suggest the other way which is able to use during the engineering design step to solve this problem. It is based on the study of plastic material characteristics with a high speed tensile test and the FEA analysis. Basically, plastic fracture is difficult to define and the test specimen shape is not decided, yet. So I used FEA result as a reference tool. A full-car FEA result is to predict the door trim movements during the impact test, and a door trim FEA result is to predict the relative fracture. Also, the general knowledge and comprehension of side impact test is needed for the door trim engineers.

        This study, comparing the antique maps in the former and the latter parts of Joseon that had described the sea in details, conducted analysis on the research state of how national perception on the ocean, and its social value had changed. In the former part of Joseon, islands and coastal areas were rarely inhabited because of the invasion of Japanese raiders and the Joseon government"s evacuation policy for island inhabitants. But in the latter part of Joseon, the appearance of illegal boats from the China"s Qing and the invasion of Japanese raiders urged the Joseon government to find ways to protect the islands and coastal areas along the Yellow Sea and the country"s southern part, and further national use of islands as forest-protecting area and ranches increased their economic values, making them the object of attention and interest. In step with changed national perception on the sea and islands, marking of coastlines on the antique maps became gradually complicated, while locations and shapes of the seas became more obvious. Along the way, the study was able to find that the maps had started to contain various ocean-related information comprehensively and that sea and islands had become as important as inland, given the appearance of separate maps focused on coastal bays. Interestingly, the study could identify such specific perceptual change through information contained on the antique maps.

        금불초 꽃 추출물의 항균 및 항산화 활성

        본 연구에서는 금불초 꽃 추출물의 피부 상재균에 대한 항균작용과 항산화, tyroinase 저해 효과에 관한 조사를 수행하였다. 피부 상재균에 대한 항균활성 측정결과, P. acnes에 대한 ethyl acetate 분획의 MIC는 0.25 %로 나타났으며, methyl paraben과 비슷한 활성을 나타냈고 quercetin보다는 큰 항균활성을 나타내었다. 추출물의 free radical (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl, DPPH) 소거활성(FSC<sub>50</sub>)은 ethyl acetate 분획에서 8.55 μg/mL로 측정되었다. Luminol-의존성 화학발광법을 이용한 Fe<sup>3+</sup>-EDTA/H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>계에서 생성된 활성산소종(reactive oxygen species, ROS)에 대한 금불초 꽃 추출물의 총 항산화능은 ethyl acetate 분획 0.24 μg/mL로, 50 % EtOH extract와 aglycone 분획 보다 ethyl acetate 분획에서 가장 큰 활성을 나타내었다. 금불초 꽃 추출물에 대하여 rose-bengal로 증감된 사람 적혈구의 광용혈에 대한 억제 효과를 측정하였다. 금불초 꽃 추출물의 경우 5 ~ 100 μg/mL의 농도에서 광용혈을 억제하였다. 특히 당을 제거시킨 플라보노이드 aglycone 분획은 25 μg/mL 농도에서 τ<sub>50</sub>이 164.15 min으로 매우 큰 세포보호 효과를 나타내었다. 미백 효과측정으로는 각각 tyrosinase의 활성 저해 효과를 측정하였다. Tyrosinase의 활성 저해 효과 (IC<sub>50</sub>)는 ethyl acetate 분획에서 87.03 μg/mL 로 나타났다. 이상의 결과들은 금불초 꽃 추출물이 <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub> 혹은 다른 ROS를 소광시키거나 소거함으로써 그리고 ROS에 대항하여 세포막을 보호함으로써 생체계, 특히 태양 자외선에 노출된 피부에서 항산화제로서 작용할 수 있음을 가리키며, 금불초 꽃 성분 분석, ethyl acetate 분획의 tyrosinase 저해활성 그리고 피부 상재균에 대한 항균작용으로부터 항산화, 항노화 및 항균성 화장품 소재로서의 응용 가능성을 확인하였다. In this study, the antibacterial activity, antioxidative effects, inhibitory effects on tyrosinase of Inula britannica flower extracts were investigated. MIC values of ethyl acetate fraction from Inula britannica flower on P. acnes 0.25 %, respectively. The results showed that the antibacterial activity of the ethyl acetate fraction was the highest in the P. acnes. The free radical (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl, DPPH) scavenging activities (FSC<sub>50</sub>) of ethyl acetate fraction of Inula britannica flower was 8.55 μg/mL. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging activities (OSC<sub>50</sub>) of some fInula britannica flower extracts on ROS generated in Fe<sup>3+</sup>- EDTA/H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> system were investigated using the luminol-dependent chemiluminescence assay. The order of ROS scavenging activities were ethyl acetate fraction 0.24 μg/mL. Ethyl acetate fraction showed the most prominent ROS scavenging activity. The protective effects of extract/fractions of Inula britannica flower on the rose-bengal sensitized photohemolysis of human erythrocytes were investigated. The Inula britannica flower extracts suppressed photohemolysis in a concentration dependent manner (5 ∼ 100 μg/mL), particularly deglycosylated flavonoid aglycone fraction exhibited the most prominent celluar protective effect (τ<sub>50</sub>, 164.15 min at 25 μg/mL). The inhibitory effect of Inula britannica flower extracts on tyrosinase was investigated to assess their whitening efficacy. Inhibitory effects (IC<sub>50</sub>) on tyrosinase of some Inula britannica flower extracts were high. Ethyl acetate fraction has IC<sub>50</sub> of 87.03 μg/mL. These results indicate that extract/ fractions of Inula britannica flower can function as antioxidants in biological systems, particularly skin exposed to UV radiation by scavenging <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub> and other ROS, and protect cellular membranes against ROS. And inhibitory activity on tyrosinase of the ethyl acetate fraction and high potential as bactericide against the skin pathogenic bacteria could be applicable to new functional cosmetics for antioxidant, antiaging, antibacterial activity.

        In these days, a vehicle simulator is developed by using a VR(Virtual Reality) system, A VR system must provide a vehicle simulator with a natural interaction, a sufficient immersion and realistic images, To achieve this, it is important to provide a fast and uniform rendering performance regardless of the complexity of virtual worlds or the level of simulation.<br/> In this paper, modeling methods which offer an improved rendering performance for complex VR applications as 3D road model have been implemented and veri tied. The key idea of the methods is to reduce a load of VR system by means of LOD(Level of Detail). alpha blending texture mapping, texture mip-mapping and bilboard. Hence, in 3D road model where a simulation is complex or a scene is velY large. the methods can provide uniform and acceptable frame rates, The VR system which is constructed with the methods has been experimented under the various application environments, It is confirmed that the proposed methods are effective and adequate to the VR system which associates with a vehicle simulator.<br/> <br/>

        반달가슴곰 P.I(Project Identity)를 적용한 응용상품 개발연구

        본 연구는 국내최초로 시행된 자연방사를 통한 멸종위기 종복원사업인 지리산 반달곰 복원사업의 홍보를 위해, 전체 사업의 3단계 중 1, 2단계에서 제안된 P.I와 반달가슴곰 대표 캐릭터개발에 이어 3단계에 해당하는 후속연구이다. 따라서 이전 단계의 결과물을 적용한 응용상품을 개발하여 멸종위기 야생동물 및 환경문제에 대해 사회적 이슈에 소비를 통한 직·간접적인 지원과 멸종위기 종복원 사업에 보다 많은 국민들의 관심과 참여를 유도하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 이전 단계에서 개발된 P.I와 대표적 복원대상인 반달가슴곰의 캐릭터시스템에서 응용상품에 적용 가능한 요소를 설정한 후, 상품분류에 따른 기본 품목을 선정하는데 있어서 홍보전략 단계를 고려하여 구성하였다. 선정된 상품 구성을 토대로 응용상품 디자인 컨셉 개발을 진행하여 전체 사업에서 개발된 P.I와 캐릭터의 활용도에 따라 문구용품 및 생활용품 등의 디자인 안을 개발하였고, 일반인을 대상으로 선호도 파악을 위한 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 결과에 따른 빈도 분석을 통해 디자인 안에 대한 수정·보완 작업을 거쳐, P.I 디자인 전략을 효과적으로 홍보할 수 있도록 상품군을 크게 세 가지로 나누어 최종 상품개발을 하였다. This study is to develop Public Relations campaign goods for the endangered Manchurian Black Bears of Jiri Mountain. This study belongs to the third phase of the project. The P.I (Project Identity) was developed symbolically and a representative cartoon character was designed through the first and second phases respectively. The objective of this study is to induce people to be interested in and to participate in endangered species activism directly and indirectly by developing useful products from previous phases. A product portfolio is suggested by considering P.R. strategies. Design factors from the first and second phases are utilized. Depending on the nature of the items, some products are designed by emphasizing P.I images and some are designed mainly with cartoon character images. To select final product design reflecting the target user`s preferences, one thousand subjects responds to a questionnaire. Through the analysis of the questionnaire, the final products are selected and designed by assigning products appropriately for the product portfolio in order to effectively, strategically, and simultaneously promote the protection and restoration of the Manchurian Black Bear.
