Objectives: This report aimed to provide an introduction to the analysis of the Biolinkage System. Methods: During diagnosis, the Biolinkage System was first classified into TypeⅠ& TypeⅡ according to the Patric’s Test and the Pelvic Twist Analysis; the two types were then sub-classified into StepⅠ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ according to the Thompson’s sacrum test, Patrick’s test, Scapular Fixation Test, and Pelvic Twist Analysis. During treatment, the sacrum-axis-temporomandibular joints were used in StepⅠ, the hip joint-fourth cervical or scapular-occiput were used in StepⅡ, and lastly the thoracic cage is used in StepⅢ. Conclusions: The Biolinkage System is useful in the examination of somatic dysfunction.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out the factors affecting the cervical angle with kyphosis. Methods : We investigated 340 cases of patients who had cervical kyphosis. We used cervical angle, flexion malposition angle, odontoid process cline angle, axis-atlas cline angle, odontoid process-atlas cline angle and occiput-atlas cline angle. Correlations between cervical angle and flexion malposition angle, odontoid process cline angle, axis-atlas cline angle, odontoid process-atlas cline angle, occiput-atlas cline angle were analyzed by pearson correlation analysis. Results : The correlation between cervical angle and flexion malposition angle was p-value 0.007, and odontoid process cline angle was p-value 0.002, and axis-atlas cline angle was p-value 0.000, and odontoid process-atlas cline angle was p-value 0.000, and occiput-atlas cline angle was p-value 0.012. Conclusions : Flexion malposition angle, odontoid process cline angle are inversely proportional to cervical angle. And correlation is statistically significant(p<0.01). Axis-atlas cline angle, odontoid process-atlas cline angle are proportional to cervical angle. And correlation is statistically significant(p<0.01). Occiput-atlas cline angle is proportional to cervical angle. And correlation is statistically significant(p<0.05).
Barge 방식에 의한 요추부 척추측만증과 추간판 탈출증의 X-ray 비교분석

Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the disc block subluxation for lumbar scoliosis and herniation of nucleus pulpous (HNP). Methods: We used AP & Lateral view X-ray for patients. And we measured of disc wedge angle, vertebral body rotation to evaluate the typical and atypical disc block subluxation. Results: On the analysis of the lateral view X-ray, 4th lumbar intervertebral disc angle (I.V.D angle) showed $4^{\circ}$, $5^{\circ}$, $3^{\circ}$, $0^{\circ}$ in the cases. On the 4th lumbar analysis of the AP view X-ray, lumbar scoliosis showed right disc wedge angle was $11^{\circ}$ (case 1), $17^{\circ}$ (case 2) and left vertebral body rotation was 13mm, 6mm. Lumbar HNP showed left disc wedge angle was $5^{\circ}$ (case 3), $4^{\circ}$ (case 4) and left vertebral body rotation was 2mm, 4mm. Conclusions: Disc block subluxation has been in lumbar scoliosis, but not been in lumbar HNP.
요추 4번의 회전변위와 척추측만증과의 상관성에 관한 연구

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out the relation between 4th lumbar rotational malposition and scoliosis. Methods : We investigated 22 cases of patients who were diagnosed as scoliosis. We used AP & Lateral view X-ray for patients. And we analysed the relation between 4th lumbar rotational malposition and scoliosis. Results : P-value was 0.436 between 4th lumbar rotational amount and lordotic angle, and was 0.758 between 4th lumbar rotational amount and wedge angle(p>0.05). And p-value was 0.022 between 4th lumbar rotational amount and scoliotic apex rotational amount(p<0.05), but was 0.286 between 4th lumbar rotational amount and Cobb's angle(p>0.05). Conclusions : The results suggest that 4th lumbar rotational malposition was statistically correlation with scoliotic apex rotational malposition, was not Cobb's angle, 4th lumbar lordotic & wedge angle.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out the relation between Orthopedic Test of sacroiliac joint and two Sacrum Malposition Tests. Methods : We investigated 56 cases of patients who complained of unilateral sacroiliac joint pain and were diagnosed as sacrum malposition. We used Gaenslen's Test, Sacroiliac Resisted Abduction Test and Patric's Test as Orthopedic Test for pain area, while used Thompson's Sacrum Test and Greenman's 4 Point Test for diagnosis of sacrum malposition. Results : P-value was 0.511 between Thompson's Sacrum Test and Greenman's 4 Point Test within negative Orthopedic Test, and was 0.523 within positive Orthopedic Test(p>0.05) Conclusions : The results suggested that the Thompson's Sacrum Test was not statistically correlation with Greenman's 4 Point Test within negative Orthopedic Test, and was not correlated within positive Orthopedic Test.

Objectives The purpose of this report was to study the circulation of meridian WiGi, YoungGi, from the viewpoint of manual medicine. Methods First, the Korean Medical approach analyzes documents about the circulation of meridian WiGi, YoungGi, and the biomechanical approach is to analyze documents about kinetic force and kinematic movement. The third inherent energy approach is to analyze documents about craniosacral rhythm and visceral motility. Finally, it is to study the correlation between the circulation of meridian WiGi, YoungGi, and the viewpoint of biomechanics force and movement, the inherent energy of manual medicine. Results Meridian WiGi is fast, powerful, and changeful. It circulates through the head and extremities in the daytime and visceral organs at night. The deviation pelvis and distorted thoracic cage create kinetic force and kinematic movement. Meridian YoungGi is very small and soft energy and circulates meridians and visceral organs permanently. Craniosacral rhythm and visceral motility radiate continuously from cranial and visceral organs to the whole body. Conclusions Circulation of meridian WiGi is closely related to the biomechanical approach. In addition, circulation of meridian YoungGi is closely related to the inherent energy approach.
자동차사고로 발생한 경항통 환자의 추나요법의 효과에 대한 임상적 연구

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Chuna treatment for neck pain patients caused by traffic accident. Methods : 64 patients were divided into two groups, experimental group and control group, of 32 patients each. Control group was treated with general korean medical treatment three times per week for 2 weeks. Experimental group was treated with Chuna treatment and general korean medical treatment three times per week for 2 weeks. We evaluated the treatment effect of each group with the visual analog scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI). Results : 1. In both two groups, VAS were decreased significantly in statistics after treatment. 2. In both two groups, NDI were decreased significantly in statistics after treatment. 3. There were significant reduction of the VAS in experimental group than control group, but, there were not significant reduction of the NDI in experimental group than control group. Conclusions : We suggest that Chuna treatment could be recommended as a useful therapy to neck pain patients caused by traffic accident.
