A pneumatic position control system with pulse width modulation(PWM) is developed and applied to double acting air cylinder. Control system comprising micro computer, five port two way solenoid valve and optical encoder for feedback component has been developed. Upon experimental results, the developed system has shown good time response on the points of maximum error, overshoot and rising time.

Microprocessor-based software DDA interpolator is developed and applied to two axis contouring control of X-Y table. Developed assembly program is composed of feedrate, linear and circular DDA inter polation routines. Reference-pulse type of open-loop stepping motor control system in which the micro-computer produces a sequence of reference pulses for each axis of motion is adopted. To test performance of the developed program, X-Y table drive system based on stepping motor and shaft encoder is designed. Contouring error of the system in linear and circular path is within ±0.2mm.

In this paper torque control system of screw fastener by strain gauge is investigated. Strain gauge sensor applicable to screw fasterner is designed and fabricated. Through the experiments the developed system has showed good screw fasterning capability. Industrial application of the developed system can be expected in terms of productivity increase and quality improvement of assembly lines.

Setting mechanism applicable to rail road turnout is designed. Designed device is analysed theoretically through mechanism analysis. The device is consisted of links and springs, i.e., main link, auxiliary link, tension spring, guide link and rail road connection links. Parts are designed based on theoretical analysis, and are manufactured. Performance and durability of the device are tested on the rail road, and desirable results are obtained. The developed device will be useful if it is applied to the domestic rail road.
2축 윤곽제어를 위한 소프트웨어 보간자 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 위의 세가지 보간 알고리즘 가운데서 가장 속도의 균일성이 좋은 DDA방식을 채택하였다. 그리고 윤곽제어에서 가공경로는 대개 직선과 원호 구간의 조합으로 구성되어질 수 있기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 직선 및 원호보간만 고려하기로 한다. Pressure control of hydraulic pump in aluminum extrusion is adjusted by hand to get the optimum extrusion velocity Manual control of the extrusion velocity degrades the qualify of the surface due to the unevenness control of hydraulic pressure. In this study pressure control of hydraulic pump is simulated with fuzzy memory rule for aluminum process. Pressure response of the system has shown good results.
