The structures of airplane consist of sheet metal part, heavy machined part, and so on, which generate enormous amounts of cutting chip when these parts are machined. The cutting chip detoriorates the part quality and production efficiency. Therefore, cutting chip collecting apparatus is necessary for better quality and efficiency. In this study, blowing type cutting chip collecting apparatus was newly proposed and the concept design of the apparatus was examined through numerical analysis. Computations using the mass-averaged implicit 2D Navier-Stokes equations are applied to predict the nozzle flow field. The standard k-e turbulent model are employed to close the governing equations. Consequently, this study shows that the suggested blowing type cutting chip collecting apparatus can be alternative to existing expensive chip collecting apparatus.

A single-piece-machined-part has superior characteristics to an assembly of several pieces of part especially for aircraft components. It is necessary to develop high efficient 'multi-head router machine' for machining a large size single-piece-part on a large scale. In this type machine, many cutting chips are generated. These chips should be removed automatically for productivity and part precision. In this study, the design evaluation of the cutting chip collecting apparatus for 'multi-head router machine' was complemented using performance test and finite element analysis.
미세접촉프린팅공정을 이용한 플렉시블 디스플레이 유기박막구동소자 제작

The flexible organic thin film transistor (OTFT) array to use as a switching device for an organic light emitting diode (OLED) was designed and fabricated in the microcontact printing and low-temperature processes. The gate, source, and drain electrode patterns of OTFT were fabricated by microcontact printing which is high-resolution lithography technology using polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) stamp. The OTFT array with dielectric layer and organic active semiconductor layers formed at room temperature or at a temperature lower than 40℃. The microcontact printing process using SAM(self-assembled monolayer) and PDMS stamp made it possible to fabricate OTFT arrays with channel lengths down to even nano size, and reduced the procedure by 10 steps compared with photolithography. Since the process was done in low temperature, there was no pattern transformation and bending problem appeared. It was possible to increase close packing of molecules by SAM, to improve electric field mobility, to decrease contact resistance, and to reduce threshold voltage by using a big dielectric.

The planetary gearbox used in factory automation is the important element in order to control the position of each parts. But the studies of these reducers have not been fully implemented enough to design and make the high precision goods. This paper is supposed the various evaluation method of the planetary reducer. And the manufactured products are estimated by each experiments such as the Backlash measurement, Finite Element Analysis, the Accelerated test technique and noise test.

A suction-type-blower (20 HP, Δp3,000㎜Ag), which was attached to the machine tool directly, was very effective.
