Sulfurous acid 환원제를 이용한 ICP-AES에 의한 Osmium의 정량분석

In this study, a convenient, fast and accurate inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometryuse of the reaction of sulfurous acid with osmium to quantitative conversion of volatile Os(VIII) to non-volatileOs(IV) in the pH range 2-10. The response was found to be stabilized immediately after sulfurous acid reactedwith osmium. The precision was calculated to be 0.5-4.5 % (RSD) under various ICP-AES conditions. Thedetection limit was 2.5-57.7 ng/g based on 3σ of the blank response (n=3) using a concentric flow nebulization.
해수에서 urease 양성 Photobacterium sp. Strain HA-2의 분리 및 동정

A urease-positive bacterium isolated from sea water was identified as Photobacterium sp. by morphological, biochemical, and 16s rRNA gene analyses and named Photobacterium sp. strain HA-2. 2.0-fold increase enzyme activity was observed in LB medium containing 3% NaCl and 0.1% urea or not and the enzyme activity was 16.0-fold lower compared to urease-positive Vibrio parahaemolyticus AQ4673 strain when grown in the LB medium containing 3% NaCl with 0.1% urea. The cloning and sequencing of Photobacterium sp. strain HA-2 urease gene cluster is currently being analyzed in our laboratory.
A Retrospective Study of Intervertebral Disk Disease Confirmed by MRI in Dogs: 89 Cases (2012-2015)

Intervertebral disk disease is a common neurological disease in dogs. In veterinary neurology clinics, the incidence of intervertebral disk disease and the spinal cord compression rate of the disk are well documented. However, the direction of herniation of the intervertebral disk is relatively less known on Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Therefore, this study systematically investigated and analyzed the intervertebral disk disease in dogs. Especially, classification according to the direction of herniation of the disk, the degree of pre - treatment neurological manifestation, and the compression rate was investigated. In addition, the treatment methods of patients who received treatment after visiting the Chonbuk animal medical center (CAMC) were divided into pharmacological treatment and surgical treatment. The location of intervertebral disc in spinal canal was mainly ventral (69.9%), and when the prognosis was evaluated according to the compression rate of the spinal cord, the prognosis of the surgical treatment (72.7%) was more effective than the non - surgical medication (40.6%). Surgical treatment (83.3%) was more successful than nonsurgical medication (60%), especially in cases of severe spinal cord compression (> 50%). In this study, surgical treatment was more effective when the neurological symptoms were severe or the spinal cord compression rate was high.

Studies on the pharmaco-constituents from the leaves of Cercis chinensis which have been used for the treatment of inflammation, contusion, dilated blood, pain of heart and stomach, edema, etc. in Korean folk remedies were carried out. Dried leaves of the plant were extracted with MeOH. The MeOH extract was suspended in distilled water and subsequently fractionated with Et2O and n-BuOH. From the Et2O and n-BuOH fractions, six phenolic compounds were isolated and identified as myricitrin(C21H20Ol2, m.p. 199~200o, myricetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside), kaempferol(C15H10O6, m.p. 276o), quercetin(C15HalOO7, m.p. 313~314o), quercitrin(C21H20O11, m.p. 176~178o, quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside), gallicin(C8H8O5. m.p. 202~203o, methyl gallate), gallic acid(C7H605, m.p. 260~265o) through their physico-chemical data and UV, IR, EI-MS, FAB-MS, 13C-NMR, and 1H-NMR analysis with authentics.
