고지방식이와 STZ 유도 제2형 당뇨병 마우스에서 상엽 추출물의 항당뇨 효과

Objectives : The present study was designed to investigate the anti-diabetic effects of Mori Folium ( Morus alba L. of Moraceae) extract (MFE) on high fat diet (HFD) and streptozotocin (STZ)-induced type II diabetes mellitus in mice. Methods : The mice (C57BL/6J) were fed HFD for 8 weeks and then was induced with a single injection of STZ (75 mg/kg). The diabetic mice were divided into four groups [(STD, HFD, HFD + MFE and HFD + quercetin (QUR)] and administered with MFE or OUR for 4 weeks. Fasting blood glucose, lipid profile (triglycerides and cholesterol etc.), glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT), glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT), insulin and leptin were measured every 2 weeks. Results : Body weight gain was lower in the MFE and QUR groups than HFD group. The fasting blood glucose was lower in the MFE and QUR groups. Oral glucose and insulin tolerance were decreased in the MFE and QUR groups. The levels of serum total cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL cholesterol were reduced in the MFE and QUR groups. The HDL cholesterol was much higher in the MFE and QUR groups than HFD group. The levels of GOT, GPT and atherogenic index were decreased in the MFE and QUR groups. The serum insulin and leptin concentrations were reduced in the MFE and QUR groups. Conclusions : These results showed that MFE could decrease blood glucose level and lead to an amelioration in dyslipidemia states on HFD/STZ-induced type II diabetes mellitus in mice.

The effects of media, growth regulators, low-temperature treatments, culture temperature and light were investigated to improve the callus induction and growth in the anther culture of Cornus officinalis Sieb. et Zucc. The frequency of callus induction was more effective on WPM medium than MS medium, and it was highest as 54% in WPM medium supplemented with 1㎎/L NAA. Callus growth was stimulated on MS medium supplemented with 2㎎/L NAA. Effect of temperature and light on the callus induction and growth was highest as 62% in the treatment for 16/8 hrs.(light/dark) at 25℃. Effect of low-temperature treatment on callus induction was highest as 19.5% in the treatment for 36 hrs. at 4℃. For organization, green cells and routings were promoted on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 ㎎/L 2,4-D and 1㎎/L kinetin. The prevention of callus browning was effective on the medium containing 3∼5㎎/L ABA or 5㎎/L AgNO₃. The supplement of ABA or AgNO₃, were maintained callus activity for 4-5 weeks and they were promoted the development of green cells.
행동유도성(affordance)을 기반으로 한 부산 도심 버스정류장(bus bay)의 고찰

부산 도심 버스정류장의 운영ㆍ활용실태를 고찰하고 향후 개선안을 제안하기 위한 본 연구는 미국의 심리학자 깁슨(J. Gibson)의 행동유도성(affordance)을 기반으로 현재 부산 도심의 버스정류장의 문제점을 살펴보고 이를 기반으로 버스정류장 공간개선안을 도출하였다. 도심 버스정류장의 다양한 이용주체별로 요구되는 버스정류장의 행동유도성 비교분석과 함께 ‘버스운전사’와 ‘버스이용객’을 대상으로 한 설문조사 및 계층화분석 결과에 따르면 향후 도심 버스정류장의 공간개선은 크게 버스 정ㆍ발차관련 편의성 제고 및 일반운전사의 주ㆍ정차관련 불법행위 배제, 나아가 교통약자 버스이용객을 고려한 공간개선이 필요한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이상과 같은 세 가지 공간개선 시사점을 바탕으로 본 연구는 플랫폼 형태의 두 가지 개선안을 제시하고 도입가능성을 차량소통관련 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검토하였다. 하지만 금번 버스정류장 공간개선안의 현실 적용에 앞서 본 연구의 후속 연구로서 보다 세밀한 교통 시뮬레이션 검증ㆍ검토와 교통약자관련 버스정류장 행동유도성 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. As the first step towards the spatial improvement of urban bus bays for public transportation in Busan, Korea, the main purpose of this research is to propose a spatial fix or alternative for the bus bay system today. This research evaluates current urban bus bay designs and activities in and around the urban bus bay location and examines its spatial properties through the lens of J. Gibson’s affordance. Comparative analysis of urban bus bay’s varying affordances along with AHP analysis of bus drivers and bus users surveys suggest that future spatial fix or alternative needs to address the following issues: (1) the improvement of stopping- and departing-related affordance of the urban bus bay, (2) the discouragement of illegal stopping and parking, and (3) special considerations for the mobility handicapped. This suggestion leads the way to two urban bus bay alternatives, which are platform-shaped. Practical application or adoption of the alternatives, however, need to be validated by future researches on traffic impact simulations and on affordance for the mobility handicapped.
다구찌기법을 이용한 공압피팅용 원형 판스프링의 설계변수 최적화

공압피팅은 공압이 사용되는 시스템 및 기계에서 작동유체를 공급하기 위한 유연호스의 접속 및 탈착을 원활히 할 수 있게 하는 공압 시스템의 핵심 요소이다. 공압피팅의 구성요소인 원형 판스프링의 응력분포를 유한요소해석을 통하여 살펴본 결과 원형 판스프링은 공압피팅에 유연호스가 장착 될 때 국부적인 소성변형이 일어나는 것으로 나타났다. 원형 판스프링의 응력집중을 분산시키기 위해 다구찌 실험계획법을 이용하여 최적설계를 수행하였다. 원형 판스프링의 반경, 외측폭, 굽힘각을 주요 설계변수로 설정하였으며 다구찌 실험계획법을 통해 원형 판스프링에 작용하는 최대응력에 폭이 81.3%, 굽힘각이 10.9%, 반경이 1.5%의 기여율을 가짐을 확인하였으며, 최적설계시 초기 형상의 원형판스프링에 비해 약 4% 정도 응력분산의 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. The stress concentration of lock-claws, which are one of the important parts for pneumatic fitting for a flexible tube connection, was investigated by finite element simulation. In this study, the generation of the local plastic deformation was predicted when the tube was hooked up to a pneumatic fitting in order to disperse the stress concentration, and design optimization was carried out using the Taguchi method. For the optimization, the outer width, bending angle, and inner radius of the lock-claws are used as main variables. As a result, their respective contribution ratios are revealed as 81.3%, 10.9%, and 1.5%. The ratio of the total stress distribution was improved by 4% compared with the initial design of the lock-claws.
