흡착공정의 흡착속도를 표현하는 여러 가지 물질전달 모델들 가운데, 식의 형태가 비교적 간단한 선형추진력(Linear Driving Force, LDF) 모델이 많이 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 벤젠을 분리 및 제거하기 위한 실제 흡착공정에서 이 물질전달모델의 적용가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. LDF모델에 의한 전산모사 결과와 동적 실험에서 구한 실험값을 비교함으로써 흡착공정의 물질전달 계수를 구하였다. 여러 다른 값의 온도 및 압력에서 얻은 파과곡선을 이용하여 물질전달계수의 온도 및 압력에 대한 의존관계를 알아보았다. 물질전달계수의 온도와 압력에 대한 의존성은 각각, 아레니우스함수와 지수함수 형태의 경험식으로 표현할 수 있었다. Among various mass transfer models to express adsorption rates for any adsorption processes, the linear driving force (LDF) model is used most. The present investigation aims at finding whether this model may be applied to real adsorption process for separation and removal of benzene. Comparison of numerical simulation results calculated by the LDF model with experimental data allowed us to find the mass transfer coefficients that are most appropriate for a specific adsorption process. Various breakthrough curves were obtained from experiments performed at many different temperatures and pressures, which in turn produced suitable mass transfer coefficients. These dependencies of mass transfer coefficient on temperature and pressure were represented by an Arrhenius type- and a power law type empirical equation, respectively.
구강ㆍ악안면 부위 급성감염 환자의 치료경과에 대한 임상적 연구

This is a retrospective study on the patients with acute infection of the oral and maxillofacial region of Yonsei Medical Center for the period of Jan. 1984 to Oct. 1989. The number of the patients involved in this study were 164 in total, including 97 male patients and 67 female patients. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The most frequent cause of acute infection of this region was odontogenic(50.1%), and in 10 patients the symptom aggravated after teeth extraction. 2. The most common fascial spaces involved were Submandibular space(31.3%), Submental space(14.8%), Neck(11.7%), Buccal space(10.9%) in order, and 11 cases(4.8%) were Ludwig s angina. In 59.8% of the patients, the infection involved only one fascial space and in 32.2% of the patients, it involved two or more fascial spaces. 3. Antibiotics were administrated in all of the cases, and surgical incision and drainage were performed in 76.8%, and extraction or treatment of the causative teeth were performed in 33.0% of all cases. 4. The causative organisms isolated from pus culture were Streptococci(42.4%), Staphylococci(27.1%), Neisseria(9.3%), Bacteroides(7.0%), Pseudomonas(3.5%) and E. coli(3.5%). 5. The most commonly used antibiotics in the treatment were combination of Cephalosporin and Aminoglycoside(32.9%), combination of Penicillin and Aminoglycoside(29.9%), and combination of Cephalosporin, Aminglycoside and Metronidazole(14.1%).
회전교차로 교통섬에 설치된 상징조형물의 사례를 통한 개선방향 연구

차량의 안전하고 원활한 교통소통, 보행차도와 횡단보도의 위치적 한계를 개선하기 위하여 차로의 교차지점에 설치하는 교통섬은 지역 자치단체에서 도시의 특성을 나타내기 좋은 상징조형물의 설치장소로 여기어지고 있다. 1995년 지방자치제 실시 이후 우리나라 도시의 삶과 질을 높이기 위해 지역 경쟁력을 갖춘 문화재, 특산품, 문화상품개발 및 지역의 정체성 구축은 지역의 상징조형물의 필요성을 부각 시킨다. 국가안전행정부는 우리나라 교통사고의 44%를 차지하고 있는 교차로사고를 줄이는 방안으로 회전교차로를 2010년부터 2013년까지 364개를 설치하였고 2022년까지 1,592개를 더 설치할 계획을 가지고 있다. 회전교차로가 생겨나면서 필연적으로 증가할 교통섬을 채워줄 조경이나, 상징조형물 또한 급격히 늘어날 것으로 예상된다. 또한 우리나라에서 교통섬의 다양한 활용에 대한 시도는 시민들의 문화공간을 창출하고 자연에 귀속하는 공간으로서 현대 도시민들의 요구를 반영하는 중요한 역할을 수행하게 되었다. 본 연구에서 회전교차로 교통섬 상징조형물의 올바른 사례들은 지자체와 주민의 화합과 소통의 유동적인 자세가 필요하다는 점이다. 상징조형물은 교차로가 갖는 응집된 에너지와 함께 환경과 조화를 이루며 지역역사의 문화적 가치를 표현해야 한다. 또한 상징조형물은 도로가 갖는 편의성을 수용하며 운전자의 시야를 과도하게 빼앗거나 방해해서는 안 되며 그 형태와 재질에 있어서 운전자에게 안전감을 줄 수 있도록 설계, 제작되어야한다. A traffic island, which is installed into an intersection to make vehicle traffic safe and smooth and improve the locational limit of pedestrian walk and crosswalk, is considered to be a good installation place for symbolic sculptures that present urban characteristics in local governments. Since the beginning of local governments in 1995, developing cultural assets and cultural goods with local competition and establishing local identity, necessary to improve urban life and quality in Korea, has created the necessity of local symbolic sculptures. As a plan to reduce intersection accidents which account for 44% of Korean traffic accidents, the national ministry of security and public administration has installed 364 roundabouts from 2010 to 2013, and plans to install 1,592 additionally by 2022. Therefore, with the emergence of roundabouts, it is expected to increase more landscapes and symbolic sculptures putting in essentially rising traffic islands. Also a number of efforts for traffic island create citizen`s cultural spaces in Korea, It comes into the picture the returning spaces to nature reflects citizen`s demand. In this Study, good cases of symbolic sculpture in roundabout traffic island need floating position in unity and communication between local government and citizen. the symbolic sculpture will be express local historical value with roundabout`s cohesive energy in their surroundings. furthermore the symbolic sculpture should be accept convenience of roadway and should not be taken away or obstruct driver`s view the form and material should be designed and made in order to give a sense of security to drivers.
Le Fort 1 골절단술을 이용한 진구성 상악골 골절의 치험 2 예

This is a report of 2 cases on old maxilla fractures accompanied with sagittal palatal fracture and severe malocclusion. We treated them by using of classic Le Fort I osteotomy and modified Le Fort I osteotomy along the old fracture lines satisfactorily. The results obtained from treatment are as follows ' 1. Careful examination and correct care on sagittal palatal fracture should be need during initial diagnosis and emergency care of maxilla fractures showed malocclusion. 2. Although early definite treatment of maxilla injuries is difficult due to major organ injuries associated with accident, the positive effort to induce normal occlusion is always necessary as soon as possible. 3. In the cases of malocclusion due to transverse discrepancy of maxillary dentition associated with injury as like as our cases, classic and modified Le Fort I osteotomy and rigid internal fixation were useful to correct occlusion, to ease operation and to return normal functions early.
