        이더넷 위상 변환과 성능 분석

        기존 Local Area Network(LAN) 환경의 문제점을 명확히 분석하지 않은 상태에서 새로운 LAN 환경으로의 변환은 성능 향상은 다소 가져올 수 있으나 일반적으로 기대치 이하의 결과를 초래할 수도 있다. 또한 가까운 미래에 새로운 트래픽이나 응용 프로그램이 추가될 경우 기존과 유사한 트래픽 과다 현상을 유발할 수 있다. 따라서 LAN 환경의 변환은 기존 환경의 문제를 해소해야 함은 물론 미래의 망 확장에 유연하게 대처할 수 있도록 추진되어야 한다. 이 논문은 이러한 관점에서 현재 많은 기관에서 주로 사용중인 버스 구조의 10/100Mbps 공유 이더넷 상에서 발생하는 프로토콜과 트래픽의 문제점을 살펴보고, 망 운용.관리와 활용 측면에서 효율성을 높이기 위한 환경으로의 변환이 실제의 운용환경에서 적합한가를 사례를 들어 구현하고 그에 따른 결과를 분석하였다. The conversion into a new Local Area Network (LAN) environment without clear analysis of the problems with the conventional LAN environment may bring about some improvement of performance, but in general, the result would not be as good as expected. Besides, in case newtraffic or application programs are added in the near future, traffic overload similar to the past may incur. Therefore, the conversion into a new LAN environment should not only relieve the problemswith the conventional environment but also be able to cope with future expansion of the network flexibly. In the present paper, in view of the above, the problems with protocols and traffic that may occur in the Bus-structured 10/100 Mbps shared Ethernet that has been widely used by many institutions are reviewed, and as a case study whether such conversion into a new LAN environment in order to increase the efficiency in the operation, management, and utilization of the network would be proper for the actual operational environment is implemented, and the results are analyzed.

        척추 경막외 농양 수술 후유증 치험 1례

        The objective of this study is to report the improvement of one patient with physical seque-las induced by spinal epidural abscess surgery. The patient was treated by acupuncture therapy with pulsed electromagnetic therapy and herb medicine. We evaluated the effec-tiveness by numerical rating scale (NRS). As a result, the patient improved significantly NRS score. And the patient`s symptoms were alleviated. We guess that the causes of the pa-tient symptoms are chronic inflammation and fibrosis of dural. We conclude that acu-puncture therapy with pulsed electromagnetic therapy is an effective treatment to reduce the residual pain after spinal epidural abscess surgery. But there is a limit on this study due to sufficient number of case. Further studies will be needed. (J Korean Med Rehab 2014;24(4):195-201)

        Transmission System of TDM signal based on E-PON

        본 논문은 기존의 E-PON 시스템에 TDM 의사회선 기능을 부가함으로써 데이터와 TDM 신호를 동시에 전달할 수 있는 시스템 개발에 관한 것이다. E-PON 기술은 FTTH를 구현할 수 여러 기술 중 하나이며, 저가의 이더넷 기술과 광 인프라를 결합한 차세대 액세스 네트워크 솔루션으로 대두되고 있다. TDM 의사회선 서비스는 패킷교환 네트워크를 통하여 기존의 TDM 회선교환 음성 및 데이터 트래픽을 전송할 수 있도록 해주는 새로운 음성/데이터 변환기술이다. 본 논문에서는 E-PON 시스템에 TDM 의사회선 서비스 모듈을 부가하고, QoS 제어 기능을 구현함으로써 QoS 손실 없이 데이터 및 TDM 서비스를 효율적으로 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 데이터와 TDM 신호가 동시에 전달될 수 있는 경쟁력 있는 시스템에 구축될 수 있다. This paper addresses the system development that can transfer data and TDM signals simultaneously by adding TDM pseudowires functions to E-PON system. E-PON technology is one of many technologies which can realize FTTH, has raised as next generation access network solution having both low-cost Ethernet technology and optical infrastructure. TDM pseudowires service is the new voice/data conversion technology which can transfer the existing TDM circuit switched voice and data over packet switching network. In this paper, this system can provide both data and TDM service without deteriorating QoS by adding TDM pseudowires service module to E-PON, and then implementing QoS control function. Therefore, the competitive system, which can transfer both data and TDM signal, can be installed.

        이학적 검사상 장요인대 증후군으로 진단된 환자에 대한 침과 추나치료 치험 2례

        Objectives : The objective of this study is to report the improvement of two patients with Iliolumbar ligament syndrome showed a physical examination positive. Methods : Two patients were treated by acupuncture therapy with chuna therapy at pelvic. We evaluated the effectiveness by numerical rating scale (NRS) and Oswestry Disability Index(ODI). Results : Both patients improved significantly NRS score and ODI score. And both patients' symptoms were alleviated. Iliolumbar ligament stress test was changed from positive to negative. Conclusions : We conclude that acupuncture therapy with chuna therapy at pelvic is an effective treatment to reduce the iliolumbar ligament originated pain. But there is a limit on this study due to sufficient number of cases. Further studies will be needed.

        FTTH E-PON 시스템의 TPS 성능 평가

        Recently, broadband access networks have been competitively deployed all over the world with the development of various multimedia services for such a network. ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) built the FTTH(Fiber-To-the-Home) service center to develop a next-generation equipment and a high-quality service/platform as well as to promote domestic industry in the field of optical communication. The FTTH service center has a variety of test equipments such as FTTH standard testbed for a BMT(bench mark test), a network operation center, and IPTV service equipments. Also, ETRI deployed a new type of commercial optical access networks cooperating with ISP(Internet Service Provider). This paper presents the performance evaluation of FTTH E-PON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) system as a platform for TPS(Triple Play Service) based on QoS(Quality of Service) and QoE(Quality of Expericence) issues. This FTTH E-PON system is successfully demonstrated as an optical access network system by commercial network service provider and the FTTH service center of ETRI. 세계적으로 가입자망의 고도화 및 광대역화가 경쟁적으로 추진되고, 이에 따른 신규 서비스도 활성화되고 있는 추세이다. 국내 광통신 산업의 저변 확대와 육성 발전, 차세대 장비 개발, 광가입자망 기반 고품질 서비스 및 플랫폼 개발의 일환으로, ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute)에서는 자체적으로 FTTH(Fiber-To-the-Home) 표준 BMT(Bench Mark Test) 테스트베드와 네트워크 운영센터 및 IPTV 서비스 장비로 FTTH 서비스센터를 구축하고, 통신망사업자를 통하여 규모 있는 상용 광가입자망을 구축하고 연동하였다. 본 논문에서는 ETRI의 FTTH 서비스센터와 통신사업자의 상용 광가입자망 구축에 사용되는 FTTH E-PON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) 시스템에 대해 QoS(Qualiy of Service) 기반의 TPS(Triple Play Service)와 QoE(Quality of Experience) 측면에서 시험한 성능 평가 결과를 기술하였다.

        FTTH 광인터넷에서 IPTV 체감품질 개선

        세계적으로 가입자망의 고도화 및 광대역화가 경쟁적으로 추진되고,이에 따른 신규 서비스도 활성화되고 있는 추세이다. 국내 광통신 산업의 저변 확대와 육성 발전, 차세대 장비 개발, 광가입자망 기반 고품질 서비스 및 플랫폼 개발의 일환으로, ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute)에서는 자체적으로 FTTH(Fiber-to-the-Home) 표준BMT(Bench Mark Test) 테스트베드와 네트워크 운영센터 및 IPTV 서비스 장비로 FTTH 서비스 센터를 구축하고, 통신망 사업자를 통하여 규모 있는 상용 광가입자망을 구축하고 연동하였다. 본 논문에서는 ETRI의 FTTH 서비스 센터에서 송출하는 고화질의 IP 방송이 통신 사업자의 상용 광가입자망을 통하여 가입자에게 전달되고, 가입자가 IP 셋탑으로 출력하는데 있어 QoE(Quality of Experience) 측면에서 나타난 문제를 분석하고 개선한 내용을 기술하였다.         Klippel-Feil 증후군 환자의 경추 도수치료 후 발생한 부작용 치험1례

        The Klippel-Feil Syndrome (KFS) is characterized by congenital fusion of two or more vertebrae with hypermobile normal segment. According to this, a patient with KFS can be at risk of severe neurological symptoms after manipulation treatment. We had a KFS patient who suffered from neck pain and limited range of motion at cervical after manipulation treatment. The patient, 49-year-old woman was diagnosed as KFS through Cervical X-ray and MRI. The patient was treated by acupuncture therapy and SCENAR therapy. We measured neck pain by visual analog scale (VAS) and neck disability index (NDI) and checked range of motion at cervical before and after the treatments. After 8 times treatments, the patient``s pain decreased and the range of motion increased. From this case, we can recognize the risk of Chuna manipulation treatment for KFS patient. So, we suggest that radiological examination is needed before cervical Chuna manipulation treatment to avoid adverse reactions. (J Korean Med Rehab 2015;25(2):175-180)

        요추부 선택적 신경근 차단술 이후 발생한 Wallenberg`s Syndrome의 한방복합치료 1례

        The occurrence of brain stem stroke after lumbar selective nerve root block seem to be an uncommon event comparing it to after cervical selective nerve root block. We recently experienced a 60-year-old man who were diagnosed as left lateral medullary infarction (Wallenberg’s syndrome) after lumbar selective nerve root block. He was treated by traditional Korean medicine with acupunture, Pulsed electromagetic therapy (PEMT), herb medicine. The range of motion of upper and lower extremity, manual muscle test, Korean version of Berg balance scale (K-BBS) and Korean version of Barthel index (K-MBI) were adopted to measure the resulting recovery after 4 weeks treatment. Traditional Korean medicine was effective for rehabilitation of patient. Further studies are needed to set up and Korean medical protocol for Wallenberg’s syndrome.         방사선 사진상 경추 후만을 보인 만성 경항통 환자의 만곡이상 치험 2례

        We researched two patients complaining about chronic neck pain with kyphotic cervical curvature. We assumed that the patients’ symptom was caused by weakened deep neck flexor and activated superficial muscles around neck. So, acupuncture therapy, SCENAR therapy and self exercise with wooden neck pillow were used to treat the patients. We measured their pain by numerical rating scale (NRS) and neck disability index (NDI) before and after treatment. And cervical curvature was evaluated by Cobb method (C1-C7) and Ishihara Index. As a result, NRS and NDI significantly reduced and cervical curvature was also improved. Therefore, we conclude that acupuncture therapy with SCENAR therapy and self exercise using wooden neck pillow is an effective treatment to reduce chronic neck pain with kyphotic cervical curvature. But there is a limit on this study due to insufficient number of cases and absence of control group. Further studies will be needed. (J Korean Med Rehab 2015;25(4):139-146)
