        환경 친화적인 Core-Shell Binder의 제조에 관한 연구

        Core-shell composite particles of organic/organic were polymerized by using monomers such as methyl methacrylate(MMA) and styrene(St) in the presence of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) below critical micelle concentration(CMC) changing concentration, kind of initiators, emulsifiers, addition method of monomers and speed of agitation. In the PMMAMt and PSt/PMMA core-shell polymerization, to suppress the generation of new particles and to minimize the coagulation during the shell polymerization, the optimum conditions were 1.45 x 10^(-5)mol/L and 2.91 x 10^(-5)mol/L at concentration of SDBS respectively. The optimum concentration of the other initiator was 1.58x10^(-3)mol/L of ammonium persulfate(APS) for core polymerization and 4.0x10^(-5)mol/L of APS for shell polymerization.

        중국의 인도양 진출과 인도의 대응 분석: 인도-인도양 연안국 간의 안보·전략적 관계를 중심으로

        Since the 2000s, China has expanded its military footprints in the Indian Ocean and increased its economic influence in the Indian Ocean littoral states. However, from the perspective of India, which has been regarded as a traditional regional leader, China’s growing influence has weakened India’s position and imposed a threat to India’s national security. Under these circumstances, how has India responded? This study reviews how China has attempted to attract small South Asian countries into its economic and strategic orbit as well as strengthened its naval activities there, and how India has dealt with a rising China. The study argues that, facing this unfavorable strategic circumstance, India has actively practiced an anti-China balancing strategy, and specifically, tried to diversify its strategic relations by enhancing defense and security cooperation with its neighboring countries. 2000년대 이후 중국은 인도양으로까지 군사활동을 확대하는 한편 인도양 지역 국가들과의 경제적 관계 강화를 통해 이 지역에서의 영향력을 확장하고 있다. 하지만 전통적으로 인도양 지역의 리더를 자처해온 인도에게 있어 중국의 인도양 진출은 인도의 영향력을 약화시키며 안보에도 위협을 가하고 있는 것으로 인식되고 있다. 인도양 지역에서의 안보환경이 불리하게 돌아감에 따라 인도는 어떻게 대응을 해오고 있는가? 본 연구는 중국의 인도양 진출 상황을 살펴보고 이러한 상황 속에서 인도와 인도양 지역 연안국가들 간의 안보·전략적 관계 강화의 요인, 현황 등을 분석한다. 본 연구는 인도양 지역에 대한 중국의 진출이 적극적으로 추진됨에 따라 인도가 적극적인 대중국 견제전략을 추진하고 있으며, 특히 그 일환으로써 방글라데시와 스리랑카 등 인도양 지역 내 이웃 국가들과의 국방·안보협력을 강화함으로써 전략적 관계를 다변화하는 데 적극적인 노력을 펼치고 있다고 주장한다.

        When the Kangaroo Encounters the Flying Dragon: The Growth of Balancing Elements in Australia's China Policy

        Since the late 2000s, China's growing naval power and maritime assertiveness has resulted in a security environment unfavorable to Australia. Facing this situation, how has Australia responded? This study sheds light on Australia's recent balancing strategies against China. It analyzes Australia's recent China policy and argues that there have been growing balancing elements in that policy, including Australia's active military build‐up, enhancement of its alliance with the United States, and diversification of its strategic and defense partnerships with other regional powers.

        한국 산업계에서 사고조사 수행 시 사고조사자의 관점에 관한 연구

        Incident investigation is regarded as a means to improve safety performance. For the prevention of industrial accidents, measures such as providing safety education, enhancing management interest and participation, establishing a safety management system, and conducting inspection of the work site are necessary. In particular, accident investigation activities, which are an important element of safety management, help to prevent similar accidents, thereby minimizing damage and enhancing work safety. They are critical for understanding business-related incidents and the vulnerabilities and opportunities associated with them. Therefore, it is clear that accident investigation activities are important for accident prevention. The primary focus of many incident investigation processes is on identifying the cause of an event. While considerable research has been conducted on potential accident investigation tools there has been little research on including the views and experiences of practitioners in the accident investigation process. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted among safety managers in the domestic manufacturing/construction industry to understand the practice of accident investigation. The investigation pertained to companies' accident investigation systems, the competence of investigators, and the identification and recommendations of the cause of accidents. From the analysis results of accident investigations, investigators' competence, the difficulty level of investigations, and the root causes of accidents were identified from the viewpoint of the participants of the accident investigations. In particular, the development of standardized and simple accident investigation methods and their dissemination to companies were found to be necessary for activating the root cause of accidents. Based on this, it can be used as basic data for the development of root cause analysis investigation techniques that are easily applicable to organizations.

        PVAc 라텍스 접착제의 열적 안정성에 대한 고찰

        Latex polymers are widely used for adhesive, binder, paint etc. Especially the PVAc(Polyvinyl acetate) latex which manufactured by vinyl acetate and vinyl alcohol as protective colloid is a useful environmentally friendly adhesive. To increase useful property of PVAc latex, this study was carried out for checking thermal characteristics and physical condition of PVAc latex by DSC, FT-IR, Pyrolyzer GC-MS. The activation energies of thermal decomposition for 40, 48, 56, 64% solid content of PVAc latex were found as 28.1~36.0kcal/mol by Kissinger's method and 17.2~22.0kcal/mol by DSC method. Actually, reasonable solid content could be consiered as 56% because of activation energy and adhesive characteristics. According to the effect of protective colloid for 4, 10, 15, 20wt%, the activation energy shows same tendency to both method and in case of 15wt% has been found as the highest activation energy. The mechanism of thermal decomposition was mainly estimated by main chain scission, not by side group on FT-IR analysis. Main component of Pyrolyzer GC-MS result were consisted of CH₃COOH, CH₃, H₂O and light gases(CO, CO₂, CH₄ etc).

        글로벌 보건안보 위기상황시 국제사회의 대북협력: 지원 동향 분석

        본 논문은 2000년대 이후 발생한 초국경 전염병에 대한 북한의 대응과 국제사회와의 협력사례를 분석하여 함의점을 찾는 데 목적이 있다. 초국경 전염병과 관련된 국제사회의 대북지원과 협력은 비교적 제한적으로 이루어진 점이 특징이다. 초국경 전염병들로 인한 전 세계적 위기상황 속에서 북한은 전면적 혹은 부분적 봉쇄정책이나 출입국 검역 강화, 감염 의심자 격리 정책 등을 통해 북한 내 전염병 유입 차단에 주력하는 모습을 보여 왔다. 초국경 전염병의 경우 일반적인 보건의료 분야와 같이 체계적이고 포괄적인 대북지원과 협력사례는 찾아보기 힘들다. 초국경 전염병에 대한 대북지원과 협력이 제한적으로 이뤄진 특징으로 첫째, 초국경 전염병에 대한 지역적 발생과 확산의 차이가 존재하기에 대북지원과 협력에 양상에서 차이가 존재한다. 둘째, 북한의 자체적 대응노력과 필요정도에 따라 국제사회의 대북지원과 협력에서 차이가 발생한다. 셋째, 북한과 유사한 경제수준을 나타낸 국가들과 비교할 때 초국경 전염볌뿐만 아니라 보건의료분야 관련하여 국제사회의 대북지원은 제한적인 범위에서 이뤄졌다. 초국경 전염병의 협력 필요성에 대해 북한도 충분히 공감하고 있기에 향후 보건의료 부분의 협력사업들을 재개할 가능성이 존재한다.

        산업현장에서 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 근본원인 사고조사기법 개발에 관한 연구

        Incident investigation is one of the most important processes among various other safety management methods to prevent industrial accidents. Finding the root causes of accidents, eliminating hazards, and improving safety are the most important purposes of investigating accidents. During the investigation process, root cause analysis (RCA) techniques are used to effectively identify RCA. Over the past few decades, over 30 RCA methods have been developed. These techniques are being widely used in some industries, such as the nuclear and aircraft industries; however, most of the RCA techniques require professional knowledge and special training, making it difficult for safety managers in their respective fields to understand and apply them. Therefore, managers of general industrial sites are rarely present at the scene of actual accident investigations, and they cannot contribute much to the purpose and effectiveness of these investigations. In this study, to address these issues, we developed an RCA technique to facilitate root cause investigation of accidents in real-world industrial sites. To develop new techniques, Systematic Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT), one of the RCA techniques, was used to investigate incidents in the enterprise over three years. We also utilized feature analysis and other papers from existing RCA techniques. To verify its effectiveness, the technique proposed was also applied to the accident case. The technique developed can easily identify and analyze the root cause of an accident and help industrial managers. It can also identify the root cause category where accidents are concentrated and use this data to establish guidelines for preventing future accidents and, thus, focus on prioritizing improvement initiatives.
