Objectives To examine the relationship between health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and body mass index (BMI) of obese children. Methods This cross-sectional study included 387 children. HRQoL was measured with the PedsQLTM 4.0 Generic Core Scale. BMI was classified according to the World Health Organization Asia-Pacific obesity guidelines. Psychosocial factors (body image, self-esteem, and depression/anxiety) were also measured. Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation and Path analysis. Results Obese participants reported lower score for physical evaluation, self-esteem, appearance evaluation component of body image, total HRQoL score, and physical/emotional/social function components of HRQoL ; they reported higher score for depression/anxiety. In addition, results indicated that as BMI increased, appearance evaluation, total HRQoL score, and social function component of HRQoL dropped. Path analysis revealed that BMI did not directly affect HRQoL ; however, BMI directly affects body image and self-esteem, indirectly mediates depression/anxiety, and thereby impacts on an individual's HRQoL. Conclusions Body image and self-esteem, rather than BMI itself, have more influence on HRQoL. This reinforces the importance of therapeutic intervention to enhance body image and self-esteem among obese children.

정자의 형태가 IVF와 ICSI의 결과에 미치는 영향

Objective: To investigate the effects of sperm morphology and their co-incubation with oocytes on the outcome of IVF and ICSI. Design: Strict morphology of washed sperm was assessed by Diff-Quick staining method before or after insemination. And the relationships between strict morphology and outcome (fertilization, embryo development and pregnancy) of IVF(with co-incubation) and ICSI (without co-incubation) were determined. Patients: Two-hundreds-and-sixty-three cycles of IVF and ninety-six cycles of ICSI were analyzed in order to clarify the influence of strict sperm morphology of spermatozoa on outcome of IVF and ICSI. These were divided into four groups. according to fertilization method and sperm morphology(Group 1: IVF, ${\geq}$12%, n:227; Group 2: IVF, <12%, n:36; Group 3: ICSI, ${\geq}$ 12%, n=48; Group 4: ICSI, <12%, n=48). Results: The fertilization rates of better morphology groups were higher than those of poor groups: Group 1(68.1%) > Group 2(62.1%), Group 3(78.1%) > Group 4(71.5%). There was no difference in embryo cleavage rates among four groups (>90%), Regarded with the good embryo rates, Group 1(56.8%) was significantly higher than Group 2(42.3%)(P<0.01), but there was no difference between Group 3(64.7%) and Group 4(61.2%). The pregnancy rates were also higher in better morphology groups as well as fertilization rates: Group 1(34.8%)> Group 2(16.7%)(p<0.05), Group 3(40.0%) > Group 4(23.0%)(p=0.08). Conclusion: Co-incubation with poor morphology sperm might adversely affect the quality of embryos. And strict sperm morphology may represent the ability to establish successful pregnancy. In short, the strict sperm morphology can be a good predictor of IVF and ICSI outcome.

Leukocytospermia 환자에서의 IVF와 ICSI의 결과 비교

White blood cells (WBCs) are present in most human ejaculates, but abnormally high concentration of seminal leukocytes may reflect an underlying pathological condition. The World Health Organization (WHO) has defined leukocytospermia as status of more than $10^6$ WBC/mL of semen. The purpose of this study was firstly, to compare the outcomes between conventional IVF and ICSI in leukocytospermia, and secondly, to investigate whether ICSI may be an alternative treatment for patients with leukocytospermia. Total 121 cycles of conventional IVF and ICSI candidates underwent IVF cycles at PL Infertility Clinic. Semen Parameters including concentration, motility, morphology of spermatozoa and concentration of leukocytes were assessed from the raw ejaculates. There was no difference in sperm concentration, motility and morphology. The rates of fertilization and good embryo development from ICSI were significantly higher than those from conventional IVF in leukocytospermia (63.9% & 48.6%, respectively for ICSI group and 33.4% & 24.1%, respectively for IVF group, p<0.001). The pregnancy rate after ICSI was also higher than that from conventional IVF (34.3% vs 21.6%, p<0.05). These results indicate that the presence of seminal leukocytes ($>1\times10^6$ WBC/mL of semen) is adversely related with fertilization, embryo development and pregnancy rate. Therefore the measurement of seminal leukocytes in routine semen analysis appears to be of prognostic value with regard to male fertilizing potential. In conclusion, it is suggested that ICSI is an alternative choice of treatment for patients with leukocytospermia.

대설재난대응을 위한 제도적 개선방안에 관한 연구

대설재난은 우리나라에서 발생하는 자연재해 중 호우나 태풍과 같은 풍수해에 이어 피해규모가 큰 재해에 해당된다. 최근 기후변화에 따라 여름철의 태풍, 호우에 의한 피해와 겨울철 자연재난인 대설, 한파 등의 강도가 점차 강해지고 있다. 대설로 인해 발생하는 피해는 교통, 건축, 시설 등 다양한 부문에서 나타나며, 대설재난 관리를 위해서는 기상학 분야, 교통 분야, 건설 분야 등에서의 통합적 대응체계가 요구된다. 또한 효과적인 재난 관리를 위해서는 대설에 대해 직접적으로 다룰 수 있는 법령과 제도개선이 필요하다. 현재 우리나라의 법과 제도적 측면에서의 대설재난에 대한 대응체계가 미미하고, 대설재난에 대하여 다루고 있는 전문분야가 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 재난 및 안전관리 기본법, 자연재해대책법 등 대설과 관련된 법령과 조례, 관련 계획등 제도적 현황에 대한 검토 및 비교분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 대설재난대응에 대한 현안 문제를 파악하고, 대설재난대응을 위한 통합적 관리방안 수립 및 제도적 개선방안에 대한 기본방향을 제시하였다.

Solid materials with inner cavities such as zeolites o(ten promote organic reactions in regio-, stereo-, and shape-selective fashions. Construction of inner cavities in the solid composed mainly of organic components is attractive since the shape, size, and function of the inner cavity become designable. This paper reports the formation and catalysis of a two-dimensional square network material composed of Cd and 4,4'-bipyridine(bay). Since this material has inner cayities surrounded by four 4,4'-bpy units, it easily clathrated some aromatic guests. The crystal structure and a clathrate compound ( ), are measured.

「소학」의 도덕교육이론과 교학상장의 의미

본 논문의 목적은 「소학」에 나타난 도덕교육이론을 밝히고, 그것에 비추어 교학상장의 의미를 살펴보는 데에 있다. 이렇게 할 때, 교학상장의 보다 넓고 깊은 의미가 드러난다는 것이 본 논문의 입장이다. 「소학」에 나타난 도덕이론이자 도덕교육이론은 다음의 두 가지로 요약할 수 있다. 하나는 도덕성의 근원에 대한 이미지이고 다른 하나는 도덕성의 단계론에 관한 설명이다. 「소학」은 天命을 도덕성의 근원으로 설정한다. 주희가 보기에, 천명은 곧 理요 性이다. 이는 성리학의 관점을 표현한 것이고, 그의 체계에서 도덕이론과 도덕교육이론은 통합되어 있다. 또한 「소학」에는 도덕성의 단계론이 제시되어 있다. 성리학의 도덕적 이상은 선비에서부터 현인, 군자, 성인에 이르는 단계를 설정한다. 성리학이 추구하는 이상적 인간으로서의 聖人은, 현실에서는 실현불가능한 그런 경지에 해당한다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 그 경지에 이르기 위해서는 오직 현실의 스승을 부단히 따르려는 노력 이외에 다른 방법은 없다는 것을 의미한다. 이 점을 염두에 둔다면, 교학상장은 스승과 제자가 동일한 공부, 즉 동일한 수행에 정진함을 의미한다. 스승과 제자는 가르치고 배우는 활동, 서로가 서로를 북돋우는 동일한 활동을 함으로써 이상적 인간상을 향해 정진하게 된다. I would uncover the theory of moral education of Xiao-xue(『小學』) and ruminate on the meaning of Jiao-Xue-Xiang-Zhang(敎學相長, Teaching-and-Learning-Raise-Up-Each-Other) to make come out some deeper and wider implication of the wise phrase in this study. The moral educational theories are two in the book. One is a image of the basis of morality, and the other is a stage theory of our morality. Zhu-Xi(朱熹), the author of the book, thought in his New-Confucianism that Tian-Ming(天命, Heaven's Order) is the root of our morality and it is a logical assumption as a standard before expression. It is not seen, not clear, and not concrete. That means we cannot help beginning our moral life from things we can experience. Otherwise, you can find out the stage theory of morality in the book. There are some stages of morality from a scholar, via a wise man, to a holy man in Zhu-Xi’s moral world. That means we should follow up not ideal teacher but real one for our moral growth. From this point of view, Jiao-Hsueh-Xiang- Zhang, the old proverb means that teacher and student study same thing and do same exercise on the same way. Teachers grow up through teaching and students are approaching to their teachers with learning.

직무 자동화 정도에 따른 최저임금 상승의 영향: 노동자간 임금격차와 성별을 중심으로

본 연구는 최저임금의 상승과 직무 자동화 정도 및 임금격차가 고용에 미치는 영향을 2014년을 기준으로 4개 년도에 대해 분석하였다. 직무 자동화 정도를 측정하기 위하여 OECD 국제성인역량조사(PIAAC)를 이용하여 직업별 반복적업무집약도 지수(RII)를 구하였고 임금격차에 따른 최저임금 상승의 효과를 파악하기 위해 최저임금 대비 다섯 개의 임금 그룹으로 나누어 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 직무 자동화 정도가 높은 최저임금 대비 250%미만 임금 그룹의 고용이 감소하였다. 그러나 고용에 크게 영향을 받는 그룹은 예상과 달리 저임금 그룹이 아닌 직무 자동화 정도가 낮은 고임금 그룹이었다. 그런데 두 개의 고임금 그룹에 대한 고용의 증감 방향은 반대로 나타났다. 최저임금 대비 325~400%미만 임금 그룹은 고용이 증가한 반면 그 이상의 임금을 받는 그룹은 고용이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. We analyzed the impact of the minimum wage hikes on workers depending on their income level, routine intensiveness of their works, and sex. Using data from OECD PIAAC, we calculated the Routine Intensive Index(RII) and divided workers for five different wage groups. The result of estimation using differenced two-way fixed model shows that the employment of low wage groups with high RII declined. Surprisingly, the most affected by the minimum wage hikes were high wage groups with low routine intensiveness. But the employment effect of the two high wage groups are shown opposite direction. The group earning 325~400% higher than minimum wage shows increase in employment while the top wage group decline.

특수 목적견으로서의 품성 및 능력 관련 유전자들에 관한 생물정보학적 분석

특수 목적견(구조견, 군견, 안내견 및 탐지견)은 집중력, 소유욕, 대담성 등을 기반으로 한 훈련시험을 통해 선별된다. 최근 특수견으로서의 특수한 능력 및 품성에 대해 유전적인 정보가 중요한 인자로 다뤄지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 특수견으로서의 개의 특수한 능력 및 품성과 관련된 유전자들의 분자적인 특징을 고찰하고자 하였다. 이전 연구에서 보고된 24개의 유전자(AR, BDNF, DAT, DBH, DGCR2, DRD4, MAOA, MAOB, SLC6A4, TH, TPH2, IFT88, KCNA3, TBR2, TRKB, ACE, GNB1, MSTN, PLCL1, SLC25A22, WFIKKN2, APOE, GRIN2B, PIK3CG)를 선택하여 품성, 후각, 운동 및 학습능력 관련 유전자, 네 가지 카테고리로 분류하였다. 본 연구에서는 생물학적인 기법을 이용하여 이 유전자들의 염색체상의 위치, 유전자들 간의 네트워크를 통한 상호관계를 조사하였으며, 어떤 생물학적 기능과 관련이 있는지 Gene Ontology 분석과 데이터베이스를 기반으로 in silico 발현 양상을 살펴보았다. 또한 이전 연구를 통하여 품성 관련 유전자들의 다양한 유전적 다형성에 대한 보고를 조사하였다. 본 연구는 특수견으로서 주요하게 고려되는 개의 고유한 능력 및 품성 관련된 유전자에 대해 분자적 특징을 제시하고 있다. 이 후보 유전자들은 개의 특수한 표현형과의 관계를 밝힐 수 있는 연구의 기초자료로서 이용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 핵심적인 유전인자로 응용되어 신속하고 정확한 특수견 선발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다. Working dogs, such as rescue dogs, military watch dogs, guide dogs, and search dogs, are selected by in-training examination of desired traits, including concentration, possessiveness, and boldness. In recent years, genetic information has been considered to be an important factor for the outstanding abilities of working dogs. To characterize the molecular features of the canine genes related to phenotypes for working dogs, we investigated the 24 previously reported genes (AR, BDNF, DAT, DBH, DGCR2, DRD4, MAOA, MAOB, SLC6A4, TH, TPH2, IFT88, KCNA3, TBR2, TRKB, ACE, GNB1, MSTN, PLCL1, SLC25A22, WFIKKN2, APOE, GRIN2B, and PIK3CG) that were categorized to personality, olfactory sense, and athletic/learning ability. We analyzed the chromosomal location, gene-gene interactions, Gene Ontology, and expression patterns of these genes using bioinformatic tools. In addition, variable numbers of tandem repeat (VNTR) or microsatellite (MS) polymorphism in the AR, MAOA, MAOB, TH, DAT, DBH, and DRD4 genes were reviewed. Taken together, we suggest that the genetic background of the canine genes associated with various working dog behaviors and skill performance attributes could be used for proper selection of superior working dogs.

「小學」에 나타난 반복 양식의 도덕교육적 의의

이 논문은 소학의 수많은 행위세칙, 교훈진술, 모범사례들을 키에르케고르의 반복 개념으로 해석하려는 연구이다. 소학은 성리학의 축소판 또는 입문서의 의미를 갖는 것으로서 단순한 동몽서 이상의 의미를 갖는 저작이다. 소학은 그 구성에서부터 반복의 양식을 가지고 있으며, 그 내용에 있어서도 반복을 구현하고 있다. 수많은 행위세칙 및 태도 진술들, 하나씩 차근차근 해나갈 것을 요구하는 공부론 진술들, 그리고 도덕적 이상에 대한 일관된 추구를 요청하는 모범 사례들은 키에르케고르의 반복과 의미가 맞닿아 있다. 그의 반복 역시 지금 여기에서 자신의 일에 최선을 다하며 미래를 향하여 진행하라는 요청이기 때문이다. 더욱이 소학이 강조하는 敬은 반복의 열정 개념과 대비할 수 있다. 소학을 반복으로 해석할 경우 초등도덕교육에 주는 시사점의 폭은 더 넓어질 것으로 예측할 수 있다. This article is a study for interpreting many behavior rules, maxims, exemplars in Xiao-xue by repetition concept. The book is a contraction from or an introduction to New-Confucianism rather than a rule book for children. It has a aspect of repetition in its outlook firstly, and takes a pattern of repetition in its contents secondly. Many rules for good behaviors and nice attitudes in it, study rules asking to do one by one and step by step, and great exemplars to urge students to be consistent for moral ideal are all very close to Kierkegaardian repetition. That s why his repetition is a moral claim to do the best and go ahead in people s own tasks now from here. Especially, Jing(敬), Xiao-xue highlights repeatedly, is on the same line with passion in Kierkegaardian repetition concept. When the book is thrown under light of repetition, we can mine up more implications for elementary moral education from it.
