        The effects of worked examples in computer-based instruction: focus on the presentation format of worked examples and prior knowledge of learners

        The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of presentation formats of worked examples and the interaction effects between the presentation formats of worked examples and the prior knowledge of learners. An investigation with 97 middle school students working in four conditions (CPWE, CWE, PWE, and the control group) was conducted. The results indicate that CPWE was the most effective condition in retention and transfer. In addition, a partial expertise reversal effect was revealed in the element transfer test. High prior knowledge learners in both CPWE and PWE were superior to those who were in CWE and the control group, while low prior knowledge learners in CPWE were superior to those who were in other conditions.

        실시간 온라인 수업에서 대학생의 디지털학습자기효능감과 학습참여의 관계: 학업정서의 매개효과를 중심으로

        This study aimed to confirm the effect of undergraduate students’ digital learning self-efficacy on learning engagements in real-time online classes and to verify the mediating effect of positive and negative academic emotions in the relationship between digital learning self-efficacy and learning engagement. To achieve this, a research model was created based on previous studies, which was then verified based on 237 undergraduate students, confirming the mediating effect. The findings established that digital learning self-efficacy had a positive effect on engagement in real-time online learning; however, learning engagement was found to be affected in different ways when academic emotions were mediated. In other words, when positive academic emotion was mediated, digital learning self-efficacy directly and indirectly had a significant positive effect on learning engagement; however, when mediated, negative academic emotion was found to have an indirect negative effect on learning engagement. The significance of positive and negative academic emotions in real-time online classes was examined based on these results, and implications for increasing engagement in learning were proposed.

        중등예비교사의 메타버스 및 메타버스의 교육적 적용에 대한 인식 연구

        The aim of this study is to analyze the level of pre-service secondary teachers' recognition of metaverse and metaverse applied education to explore research and practice directions that can be used as evidence by education researchers and school education stakeholders. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted on 66 pre-service secondary teachers, and the results of the survey were analyzed using a chi-square (χ2) test according to the background variables (major, year of birth) of the learners. As results, all of the pre-service secondary teachers who participated in the survey were born after 1980 and were all classified as the MZ generation, and there was no difference in recognition level according to their background variables. Regardless of major and year of birth, the results of analysis are as follows. First, there were no respondents who answered that they did not know anything about the metaverse (0%), and most of the respondents answered that they knew to some extent (77.3%) or knew very well (7.6%). Second, regarding the utilization of the metaverse, most respondents answered that it is a space where work and study can be carried out effectively (34.8%) and an expansion space in the real world where production and consumption activities are possible (27.3%). Third, as for the opinions on metaverse application education in secondary education, most responded positively (69.7%). Fourth, 47% of the respondents answered that it could be used as a supplementary space for school education, and 37.9% of the respondents said that it could be used as an independent space rather than a supplementary space. In the conclusion, the implications of these research results and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.

        대학의 인공지능 도입과 인공지능교수에 대한 학습자 인식

        본 연구는 현재 대학교육에 혁신을 가져올 새로운 기술로 논의되고 있는 인공지능에 대한 대학생들의 인식을 조사하였다. 구체적으로 대학생들의 1) 인공지능에 대한 전반적인 인식, 2) 대학의 인공지능 기술 도입에 대한 인식, 그리고 3) 인공지능교수에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 모든 질문에 성실하게 응답한 337명의 응답결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 인공지능에 대한 지식수준에 관계없이, 응답자의 대다수(89.6%)가 인공지능은 인간과 공존할 수 있는 편리한 기술이라고 응답하였다. 둘째, 대학의 인공지능기술 도입에 대해서는 응답자의 과반수(51.9%)가 긍정적으로 응답하였고, 활용분야로는 학사정보안내(50.1%), 학습상담(24.9%), 맞춤형학습지원(24%)의 순서로 응답하였다. 셋째, 인공지능교수가 인간교수를 대체할 수 있을 것인가에 대한 질문에 대해서는 전체 응답자의 과반수(63.2%)가 대체할 수 없다고 응답하였고, 인공지능교수의 이미지는 컴퓨터, 아바타, 휴머노이드로봇 등 어느 모습이든 상관없으며, 학습자의 분석학습(45.7%), 기억학습 (24.6%), 이해학습(17.2%)에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라고 응답하였다. 이와 같은 분석결과를 기반으로, 연구의 시사점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.

        A Decentralized Approach to Education Powered by Blockchain Technology

        Recently, some researchers in the field of education have been interested in the applications of Blockchain technology. While some researchers have conducted on the ‘academic certificate handling’ or ‘managing record-keeping’ in which are detailed educational administrative sector, others are more interested in reshaping educational landscape based on the key concept of ‘decentralization’ of Blockchain technology in a larger educational context. Researchers believe that the current centralized learning system or educational model is no longer sustainable, and that the Blockchain technology allows for a total disintermediation and disaggregation of education, specifically in higher education including lifelong learning. In a similar context, this paper will explore how the concept of ‘decentralization’, which is core concept of Blockchain technology, can transform the landscape of education, specifically focusing on the suggestions of researchers at Knowledge Media Institute at the open university in the UK. In other words, it will investigate how this new paradigm of Blockchain technology can affect on educational domain. To achieve this purpose, firstly, the basic Blockchain technology will be scrutinized, followed by the current major research outcome of educational applications of Blockchain technology will be reviewed. Finally, the implications and future prospects of educational applications of the Blockchain technology will be discussed.

        청소년의 컴퓨터 사용이 자기조절학습과 사회성에 미치는 효과에 대한 종단적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyse the longitudinal relations between self-regulated learning, social relationship and computer use of adolescent. For this purpose, multivariate latent growth model was verified, using three year longitudinal panel data of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (2012, 2014, & 2015). In analysis of the effects of computer use, the use of computer was divided into ‘for learning’ and ‘for non-learning’. Results indicated that ‘computer use for learning’ was positively related with self-regulated learning in the period of K9, and this relation was still valid as their grade goes up. However, the ‘use of computer for non-learning’ was negatively related with self-regulated learning and there was no valid relationship as their grade goes up. Lastly, there was no direct influence of computer use on the social relationship of adolescent, regardless of the computer use for ‘learning’ or ‘non-learning’. Based on these results, the implications were discussed.

        4차 산업혁명기반 미래 대학의 교수학습 방법 및 대학교수 역량에 대한 현직 교수 인식 분석

        본 연구는 4차 산업혁명기반 미래 대학의 교수학습 방법과 대학교수 역량에 대한 현직 교수들의 인식수준과 동의수준을 분석하였다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국의 4년제 대학에 재직하고 있는 대학교수 118명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 연구결과, 전체 응답자의 73.7%가 대학 교육 혁신을 위해 교수학습 방법의 다각화가 필요하고, 85.6%가 대학교수의 역할변화가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 구체적으로, 일부 교수학습 방법(예: MOOC 활용교육, 모바일기반의 마이크로학습) 도입에 대하여 방송통신대학 교수가 일반대학 교수보다, 사회계열 교수가 인문계열 교수보다, 그리고 대학에서 20년이상 재직하고 있는 50-60대 교수가 10년미만의 30-40대 교수보다 더 높은 수준으로 동의 하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 대학교수역량 중에 하나인 ‘학습촉진자 역량’에 대해서는 이공계열 교수 보다는 인문계열 교수가 남교수보다는 여교수가 더 높은 수준으로 동의하는 것으로 나타났고, ‘큐레 이터 역량’에 대해서는 대학에서 20년이상 재직하고 있는 50-60대 교수가 5-10년 동안 재직하고 있는 30-40대 교수보다 더 높은 수준으로 동의하는 것으로 나타났다. This study analyzed the university professors’ recognition for instructional methods and professors’ competences of future universities based on 4 th industrial revolution. To do these, 118 university professors around the country were surveyed. Results indicated that while 73.7% of the respondents agreed to diversify instructional methods of universities, 85.6% of them agreed on the necessity of changing the role of university professors. Specifically, professors from KNOU, professors from the faculty of Social Science, and professors aged from 50 to 60 who had served for over 20 years agreed to introduce some instructional methods (eg, MOOC and mobile-based micro learning) to universities at a higher level than others. Besides, while professors from the faculty of Humanities and female professors agreed on ‘facilitator competence’ at a higher level than ones from the faculty Science & Engineering and male professors, professors aged from 50 to 60 who had served for over 20 years agreed to ‘curator competence’ at a higher level than ones aged from 30 to 40 for 5-10 years.

        MZ세대 골퍼의 골프 만족이 골프 비용에 미치는 영향

        [목적] 본 연구는 최근 골프에 참여한 MZ세대 골퍼의 골프 이탈을 막기 위한 골프 만족과 골프 비용에 대한 인과관 계를 살펴봄으로써 골프 산업 종사자에게 골프 대중화를 위한 정책적 개선의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. [방법] 연 구의 대상은 서울·경기·충청 지역에 있는 실·내외 골프연습장 회원 중 MZ세대 골퍼 347명을 대상으로, SPSS 26.0 을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 독립표본 t-검증과 일원변량분석 그리고 다중 회귀분석을 실시하여 자료처리 하였다. [결과] 첫째, 골프 만족에서는 성별, 연습장 선호도, 연령, 골프용품 지출비용 에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 골프 비용에서는 골프구력에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프 만족은 골 프 비용에 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] MZ세대 골퍼에게 골프 비용은 골프를 지속하 는데 매우 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. 또한, 골프 만족의 다양한 변인들은 골프 비용에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것이 증명되었다. [Purpose] The purpose of this study is to provide golf industry workers with basic data for improving the golf popularization policy, by examining a causal relationship between the golf satisfaction and the golf expenditure, to prevent the Gen MZ golfers, who recently participated in golf, from leaving it. [Method] The subjects include 347 Gen MZ golfers, among the members of indoor/ outdoor golf practice ranges located at Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do. For the data analysis, this study conducted frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, independent sample t – test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression, by using SPSS 26.0. [Result] First, the golf satisfaction was significantly varied, depending on gender, preference for golf practice ranges, age, golf goods and golf expenditure, and the golf expenditure was significantly varied, depending on the golf career. Second, the golf satisfaction was found to have a partially significant effect on the golf expenditure. [Conclusion] It can be found that the golf expenditure is a very important factor for the Gen MZ golfers to continue the golf. In addition, it is proved that various variables of the golf satisfaction have partial effects on the golf expenditure.

        메타버스와 영유아교육: 현직교사의 인식과 교육현장 적용 탐색

        The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of applying the metaverse in early childhood education and care, based on the results of the analysis of early childhood education and care teachers' perceptions and opinions about 'metaverse' and 'metaverse applied education.' To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted with 112 teachers working at kindergartens and childcare centers in Seoul and the Gyeonggi province. Among them, 8 were selected for interviews, and the results were analyzed. The analysis revealed the following: First, the level of awareness of the metaverse and metaverse application education among early childhood education and care teachers was generally low. However, for teachers in their 30s with 5-15 years of experience, it was relatively high compared to other groups. Second, the metaverse application education proposed by teachers was found to be related to the curriculum areas of 'Physical Exercise and Health,' 'Communication,' and 'Social Relations' in the 2019 revised Nuri Curriculum. Based on these results, discussions and implications were presented regarding the application of the metaverse in early childhood education and care.
