본 연구의 목적은 자유선택활동에 기초한 유아 교회교육 프로그램을 구성하고, 프로그램 실행, 평가 및 수정, 보완을 통해 프로그램을 개발하는데 있었다. 이를 위해 구성된 프로그램을 k교회 만 4, 5세 유아들 15명과 그의 부모들 15명을 대상으로 실행하였다. 프로그램 실시 결과 구성된 프로그램은 유아들의 신앙에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 부모들과 유아들이 매우 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 프로그램 구성 절차를 통해 완성된 유아를 위한 교회교육 프로그램은 다음과 같다. 프로그램 목표는 첫째 하나님을 알아간다, 둘째 하나님을 경험한다, 셋째 하나님을 믿는다, 넷째 예수님의 십자가 구원을 알고 믿는다. 다섯째 예수님의 제자가 된다. 여섯째 긍정적 자아를 기른다, 일곱째 다른 사람을 존중한다이다. 교육내용은 성경 내용에 기초하여 8가지 주제로 선정, 구성되었다. 활동방법은 성경이야기와 관련된 자유선택활동을 중심으로 성경이야기 듣기, 성경 암송, 기도, 찬양, 공동체 활동으로 구성하였다. 프로그램 교육자는 유아교육전공자로 교회학교 유아교사 경험이 있는 자이며 운영대상은 교회에 소속된 만 4, 5세 유아들과 그 부모들이었으며, 활동시간은 매주 1회 9주간 총 9회 운영되어지고, 1회기 운영시간은 1시간 40분이었다. The purpose of this study was to develop a new program to manage a Christian Church education program for young children. First, a program was developed based on literature review. It was then applied in the field. 15 young children(4 years and 5 years) and their parents(15) in K church participated in this program. The results were that the program had positive effects for children. All children and parents were very satisfied with the program. The Christian Church education program for young children was delineated as follows. The objectives had two main points; first, "the relationship between God and me," and second, "the relationships between others and me." The educational contents of the program were based on the objectives of the program. Activities were included in the program, such as Bible story telling, memorizing the words in the Bible, free play, prayer, worship, large group activities, and so on. Children who were involved in Sunday school and their patents participate in the program for 1 hour and 40 minutes every week for total of 9 sessions.
