참다래 품종에 따른 과실의 생육 특성과 자당 대사 효소 활성의 비교

The study was conducted to examine the relationship between fruit development and sucrose metabolizing enzyme activities in the fruit of some kiwifruit cultivars grown in Jeju, Korea. The fruit characteristics and sucrose metabolizing enzyme activities were evaluated during fruit development in yellow-fleshed cv. ‘Halla Gold’, ‘Sweet Gold’ and ‘Goldone’ and green-fleshed cv. ‘Garmrok’. Fruits were enlarged rapidly at the early stage of fruit development and dry matter showed a gradual increase by harvesting time. Starch content continued to increase by about 140 DAA, was maintained by 170 DAA, and thereafter decreased drastically. The level of soluble sugar was low by 120 DAA and then increased rapidly by harvesting time. The sucrose degradation activities of sucrose synthase (SS) and acid invertase decreased gradually by 120-140 DAA with a small difference depending on cultivars, but those of neutral invertase remained constantly low during fruit development. The sucrose synthesizing activities of sucrose phosphate synthase and SS maintained low levels of 140 and 100 DAA, respectively and then increased gradually. The results indicate that 100-120 DAA is a turning point in a changing pattern of fruit weight and soluble sugar content that combined with a change in sucrose metabolizing enzyme activities.
골드키위에서 꽃가루 품종과 희석 비율이 종자 형성과 과실 품질에 미치는 영향

The study was carried out to evaluate the effect of pollen donor genotype and pollen dilution ratio on fruit quality and seed formation in three yellow-fleshed kiwifruits including ‘Halla Gold’, ‘Sweet Gold’, and 'Enza Gold'. Analysis of pollen tube growth indicated that pollen tubes penetrated into ovules through style 2 or 3 days after artificial pollination, but there was a little bit of difference in the number of pollen tubes penetrating into ovules depending on pollen donor genotypes and dilution ratio. Pollen tube growth of ‘Bohwa’ was better than ‘Chieftain’ in ‘Halla Gold’ and ‘Sweet Gold’, whereas opposite tendency was observed in ‘Enza Gold’. The number of pollen tubes penetrating into ovules was the lowest in 20X pollen dilution. Pollination with ‘Bohwa’ increased the fresh weight and dry matter of fruits than that with ‘Chieftain’ in all three cultivars. Seed number showed a similar tendency to fruit weight and dry matter in ‘Halla Gold’ and ‘Sweet Gold’, but opposite tendency was shown in 'Enza Gold'. The fresh weight and dry matter of fruits was higher in 1-10X compared to that of fruits from 20X dilution and was little affected by dilution ratio. Seed number and 100-seeds weight showed similar tendency to fresh weight and dry matter.
