In this study, I designed and implemented 'Credit-Inquiry System' on the web. The objective of STIMS(School Total Information Management System) is to improve the educational circumstances, and then construct the advanced education environment which is more competitive. But, in spite of this objective, the current educational conditions lead to giving teachers much more pressure, or burden, for their task than before. Therefore, in this study, by making the best of the established system, by improving it, by implementing 'Credit-Inquiry System' on the web with a view to construct more effective educational environment, I tried to achieve the fundamental aim of STIMS. For the development of 'Credit-Inquiry System', the PHP(Hypertext Preprocessor) tool was used, and I constructed database made up of tables of 'PStudent', 'SSubject', 'GROSheet', 'GRSheet' and 'GRExam' for credit-inquiry by the use of MySQL DBMS. Taking advantage of this system, students are able to confirm their test-related materials on the web after taking an examination.
GaN Pyramids Prepared by Photo-Assisted Chemical Etching

GaN pyramids were formed by photo-assisted chemical etching of GaN epilayers grown by molecular-beam epitaxy. The etching was conducted by using a solution of KOH and K$_2$S$_2$O$_8$ under ultraviolet illumination. The pyramids are hexagonal, submicron in size, and nonuniformly distributed on the substrate. Energy-dispersive X-ray analysis revealed a Ga-oxide layer covering the pyramids. This oxide can be removed by boiling in concentrated KOH. Cathodoluminescence measured from the pyramids was redshifted with respect to the GaN epilayer. The main reason for the redshift is the field induced by the electric polarization of the pyramid structure.
실온에서의 이중 장벽 구조의 Resonant Tunneling

AlAs/GaAn/AlAs resonant tunneling structures were grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). In this work we observe the occurrence of resonant tunneling through a GaAs/AlAs double barrier at room temperature. A peak to valley current ratio of 1.4 was observed. And we aware of a small deviation in current-voltage characteristics over the sample.

The final objective of this research is to develope the IFB(Inclined Fluidized Bed) coal dryer. For the initiation of this development, following research activities are conducted to investigate the fluidization characteristics of coal in the IFB: 1)characterization of two feed coals(High moisture subbituminous coal form AMAX Eagle Butte mine located in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming and from Ushibelli Coal Mine, Inc. in Healy, Alaska); 2)determination of minimum fluidization velocity for each crushed feed coal; and, 3)investigation of solids bed geometry in IFB as it relates to the feed coals, IFB reactor slope, and the fluidizing gas-to-solids ratio. Chemical analysis of the two coals indicate that they are similar in nature. However, subsquent physical characterization of the crushed feed coals indicate different physical properties. When crushed, Eagle Butte coal produces more fine particles than the Ushibelli coal. This observed difference in particle size distribution result in the MFVs(Minimum Fluidization Velocities) of the two coals, and differences in the MFVs result in the development of solids bed with differing geomettires. Under the experiment with a wide variety of fluidizing gas-to-solids ratios, we found that the production of entraind solids from the fluidized-bed reactor can be kept 10 wt% of the feed coal by reducing the fluidizing gas-to-solids ratio in the IFB reactor below 3lb/lb.

Costs in civil procedure should be paid by parties, according to the allocation in decision of costs. Where the decision is in favor of defendants. they can recover their costs from plaintiffs. If the plaintiffs are residents of a foreign country, the defendants have many difficulties in recovering their costs from plaintiffs. So the Code of Civil Procedure in Korea orders the plaintiffs to provide security for costs where they do not have residences, offices or business offices in Korea. Historically, foreigners should provide for costs security, notwithstanding their residences. But ideal for equality of natives and foreigners made many countries change not to discriminate foreigners in civil procedure. What does matter in Korea is not nationality. but residence, office or business office of plaintiffs. In this article, I researched the materials comparatively. including treaties. Some countries remain to discriminate foreigners. And others take the similiar system as Korea. But the others order the plaintiff to provide for security for costs according to the discretion of judges, even if the plaintiffs do not have domestic residence, like ordinary cases of security for costs in civil procedure. And treaties of civil procedure permit nonresidents of the exemption of security for costs. Conclusively, it may as well accept the system of' discretion of judges for universalization of judiciary, and discuss joining the treaties.
