        보걸의 『내가 운전을 배운 방법』에 나타난 네거티브 감정이입과 젠더 이슈

        This paper examines Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive and its nuanced treatment of vexed social and gender issues such as child molestation and young female sexuality. Vogel incorporates historical and cultural references, drawing on a car fetish in the post-war American culture, the Lolita myth and pedophilic 60s music, which is part of the culture in which the characters inhabit. The intention behind Vogel’s dramaturgy is to evoke a sense of negative empathy. Negative empathy is an aesthetic response where there is resistance to empathy but that resistance is overcome due in part to contexts given to protagonists. This way, a character like Peck whose incestuous relationship with his young niece is condemned can be empathized with. Additionally, Vogel demonstrates the complex way young female sexuality is formed by portraying Li’l Bit’s breasts as both a site of sacredness and shame. Applying Vogel’s use of negative empathy to a critical analysis of the play, this paper shows negative empathy is key to understanding the playwright’s work. (Gyeongsang National University)

        지반굴착 흙막이공사 특성상 해석변수인 지형, 조사시기와 방법 등이 현장여건 변화에 따른 토질정수, 적용 토압방법, 구조모델링 등이 불확실함에 따라, 시공 중에 구조적 거동파악과 현장 주변 영향을 감시하는 계측관리시스템을 도입하여 시공하고 있다. 그러나 종래 계측관리시스템은 현장여건 변화에 따른 설계 관리치와 계측치와의 차이를 토압 및 구조거동 예측이 불가능하여, 시공 중 측정된 계측자료를 경험적 판단으로 정성적 구조거동을 분석하여 현장에 대한 안전성을 확인하는 등 정성적으로 평가함으로서, 설계 절대기준치 관리 및 현상파악 정도의 시공관리 목적 수준에 머물러 있는 실정이다.

        건강증진성 관점에서 본 LEED 그린빌딩의 친환경성에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) Green building contributes to health promotion through eco - friendly characteristics and is positioned as the most efficient and nature - friendly building. These natural-friendly factors include saving or recycling resources, energy and water resources. Thereby resources are efficiently used to reduce the cost of resource and energy use and minimize pollutant emissions. These green buildings ultimately promote health and comfort. Moreover, their unique features are shown from the internal and external components and finishing materials. The study will analyze how LEED green buildings are related to energy efficiency, recyclability, ecology, pro-sociality and health promotion. The purpose of this study is to find out whether LEED green building is suitable to be developed for our future generations who we predict to be living in the highly polluted Earth. (Method) This study is about analyzing the cases of LEED Green Buildings; POSCO Power Future Building, Samsung Global Engineering Building, Grand Seoul, SK Networks New Daechi Building, Seoul Finance Center and SK Chemical Center building, which are certified a `platinum` and `gold` rating by official pro-environmental organizations. For this analysis, the field survey was conducted from July 2015 to July 2016 to find out how these buildings are related to energy efficiency, ecology, recyclability, pro-sociality and health promotion. The case analyses are made based on the field visits and experts opinions following the analysis frame. The buildings are evaluated and graded into three levels; low O, normal ◐, and high ●, for each of the five assessment criteria. This study is based on analyzing the LEED green buildings which have acquired the `LEED Platinum` or `LEED Gold` certificate. The rationale for the such research range is because`LEED` is becoming one of the representative international environment-friendly certificates and increasing number of examples of overseas certification. (Results) Even though the analyzed buildings in this study are officially approved as the excellent eco-friendly buildings, certified with international certifications like LEED Platinum or Gold , some of them still have room for improvement in terms of health promotion and pro-sociality. LEED green buildings will be further highlighted as an important factor in the world facing aging population as with regard to future sociality, the convenience of the elderly population and the disabled is undermined, and the importance of contribution to the local community will be emphasized. (Conclusions) Installation of physical training equipments of good condition and improvement of indoor air quality should not be the final destination of this run. These operations should be leading to higher productivity level of the workers in the building.
