        This study explores the characteristics of the segment market of festival visitors, employing basic variables of involvement and motivations, analysed with demographics, and tourism behavior characteristics. From factor analysis, the result shows 3 involvement types of `identity-expression`, `pleasure-seeking`, and `importance of visiting festival`, and 5 motivation factors of `entertainment and specialty`, `cultural experience and value`, `escapement`, `novelty`, and `socialization`. The cluster analysis result shows that involvement types were segmented into 2 clusters of self-expression group and pleasure-seeker group, and the visit motivations types into 3 clusters of socialization, event pleasure-seeker, and escapement. Besides, the result of this study illustrates subdivision groups of involvement type show the difference of visit experience, monthly income, and accompanied type, while the groups of visit motivation show the difference of age, visit experience, information source, cost for attendance, and occupation. Thus this study may contribute to find out potential target market of festival visitors, and to provide data for better positioning of a festival.

        스포츠이벤트 서비스품질이 지역관광이미지 및 재참여의도에 미치는 영향

        This performed a positive study for the purpose of assessing service quality recognized by participants as a discriminative means in order to put into triangular position friendly relationship with sports event participants and to win competitive ascendancy, looking into an influence on regional tourism image and re-participation intention of service quality satisfaction. As a result, this study picked up three sports service quality factors, food and kindness, operation system, and convenience in use. This study investigated an influence on provincial tourism image of sports event service quality and found that service quality factors were significant statistically of regional tourism image in order of food, kindness, operation system, and convenience in use. This study analyzed an influence on participants’ re-participation intention of spots event service quality and found out that spots event service quality factors were significant statistically of spots event re-participation intention in order of food, kindness, and convenience in use. This study analyzed an influence on participants’ re-participation intention of regional tourism image and found out that it was significant statistically. This result shows that service quality factors were significant statistically of regional tourism image as well as re-participation intention of the participants in sports events.

        노인체육지도자 역할 척도 개발

        This study made a collection of opinions on leaders` roles from specialists for the purpose of developing role scales taken by aged person sports leaders to establish soft sports relationship between leaders and aged persons participating in sports-for-all, drew a measurement list on the role taken by aged persons sports-for-all leaders, and examined scale validity by confirming factor structures. In addition this study made a role measurement of aged person sports-for-all leaders effectively useful for looking into leaders` role at the field of sports-for-all, investigating need of the aged persons participating in sports-for-all, managing members, and improving leaders` roles. As for the items of role scales taken by aged person sports-for-all leaders, `encourage participation in sports continuance` was composed of the contents such as understand members, establish friendship and relationship, motivate participation in sports, recognize sports effectiveness, and make-up classwork atmosphere, `member management` was composed of the contents such as do counseling frequently, give a hand at the time of participating in other sorts, grasp respective persons` peculiarity, grasp respective persons` needs, and compose members` contact networks, `classwork preparation/instruction` was composed of the contents such as pinpoint an aim of class works, develop and distribute new programs, make plans on teams, offer various information on usual living, and offer various information on class works. The results shows that at the level of managing most members, it is necessary for aged person sports leaders to participate in class works continuously, prepare class works, and instruct class works. In general, the results show that the models of role scales taken by aged person sports leaders established in this study are suitable. But, role scales taken by aged person sports leaders must be revised and complemented through repeated and successive researches.

        초등학생의 일상생활 스트레스, 사회적 지지 및 건강문제에 관한 연구

        This study has been done for the purpose of investigating the related factors of life stress, social support and health problems, and the relations of these variables in elementary school students The subjects of study were 346 elementary school students, grades 4, 5, and 6, from one school in K city, and from three schools of the district of C. The data were gathered from september 2 to 18, 2002 by questionnaires. The data was analysed by the use of, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson’ s correlation coefficients. The results of this study were summarized as follows; 1. The mean score of life stress was 107.0 with the range from 12 to 200, and was significantly different depending on grades(t=5.98, p=.003) , financial status(F=3.07, p=.048) and sc•1001 records(F=7.01 , p=.001). In comparislon of each mean score of stress-related items, ‘parents urge the students to study(3.06) ’ tended to show the highest degree. In comparislon of each mean score of stress areas, ‘parents (2.80)’and ‘school records(2.80)’ares tended to show higher degrees. 2. The mean score of social support was 83.3 with the range from 27 to 119, and was significantly different depending on gender(t=-2.49, p =.013) , parents educational level (F=3.53 , p=.030) , financial status(F= 10.57, p=.0001), family atmosphere (F =43.1 , p=.0001), school records(F =12 .4, p=.0001) , and number of afterschool activities (F=3.83, p=.023). Each mean score of social support areas tended to higher degree in order of family support(3.99), friend support(3.34) and teacher support(3.16) . 3. The mean score of health problems was 44.8 with the range from 30 to 102, and was significantly different depending on financial status(F=5.25, p=006), family atmosphere(F=4.04, p=.0l 9), and concern about health.(F=17.0, p=.0001). In comparision of health problem items, each mean score tended to show higher degrees in order of ‘can’nt fall asleep(1.88)’ ‘ headaches(1.82)’ ‘ make mistakes in the presence of people(1.77)’ and ‘worry about things( 1.77)’ 4. Life stress scores showed a positive correlation(r= .135,p= .012) with health problem scores, but a inverse correlation(r=-2.51 , p=.0001) with social support scores and social support scores showed a inverse correlation(r=- 3.18, p=.0001) with health problem scores.

      • 스포츠이벤트 서비스품질과 재참여의도간의 관계

        This thesis has an aim to investigate the relationship among sports event service quality and re-participation intention and to present a suggestion to develop the sports events of provincial self-governing bodies. So this thesis performed a questionnaire survey with 350 sheets, targeting at runners, leaders, parents, and staffs participating in Gapyeong-gun Running National Road Cycle Tournament for Presidential Flag Championship and The 38th National Shooting Tournament for Phoenix Flag. This thesis discarded 45 sheets without valuable contents and analyzed 305 sheets of the rest effective samples. As a result, first, this thesis, through factor analysis, drew out four factors, F1(operation system), F2(food and kindness), F3(Convenience in use), and F4(sightseeing image), as the sports event service quality factors. Second, this thesis investigated an influence on participants` satisfaction of sports service quality factors and found that food and kindness(.566), operation system(.541), convenience in use(.446), and sightseeing image(.432) had an influence on participants` satisfaction affirmatively in order. It means that the participants recognizing high service quality found high satisfaction with participation. Third, this thesis analyzed an influence on participants` re-participation intention of sports service quality factors and found that food and kindness(p=0.005) and convenience in use(p=0.000) had an influence on participants` re-participation intention.

        메가이벤트 개최 주민의 지역애착심과 주민인식, 지지도, 협력의사와의 관계분석

        This thesis analyzed a relation between regional attachment, inhabitant recognition, approval rating, and collaborative intention of the inhabitants at the regions expected to open 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiad. First, dependence on regional attachment had a positive (+) significant effect on all of the factors of inhabitants, identity on economic negation, and social affinity / solidity on economic affirmation. Identity had a significant positive (+) effect on social cultural affirmation, and a significant negative (-) effect on circumstantial affirmation. Social affinity / solidity had a positive (+) significant on social cultural affirmation or circumstantial affirmation. But, identity and social affinity / solidity didn"t have a significant effect on social culture / environmental negation. In addition, identity and social affinity / solidity had a positive (+) effect on approval rating, and dependence and social infinity/solidity on collaborative opinion. Second, economic negation and social cultural affirmation, as an inhabitantial recognition, had a significant effect on approval rating, and social cultural/ environmental negation had a significant effect, but showed a negative (-) value. In addition, economic affirmation and economic negation, and environmental affirmation had a positive effect on collaborative opinion. Third, approval rating had a positive (+) significant effect on collaborative opinion.

      • GIS기반 축제방문객 통계관리시스템 Crowd Architecture 개발에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 관광 분야에서 도입 가능한 GIS의 개념과 종류 및 주요기능을 살펴보고, 국내외 관광통계에 대한 선행연구 및 사례를 검토한 후 관광 분야에서의 도입 및 적용 가능성을 탐색적으로 접근하고자 한다. 이를 통해 GIS 기반 축제방문객 통계관리시스템 개발에 대한 구체적인 방법론을 제시한다. 분석결과 첫째, 지역의 다양한 특성을 분석하기 위한 각지역별 관광통계 데이터의 기초적인 수집이 시급하다. 둘째, 각 지역 축제별로 실제 관광객 수나 관광수입이 체계적이면서도 의무적으로 수집될 수 있는 제도가 마련되어야 한다. 셋째, 지자체가 GIS를 효율적으로 도입할 수 있는 업무환경의 조성을 위한 정부 차원의 정책적 지원이 필요하다. 따라서 향후에는 더욱 효율적인 축제방문객 통계관리를 위해 GIS기반 축제방문객 통계관리시스템에 관한 연구가 필요하다. This research looks into the concept of GIS which it can introduce in the tourism sphere and kind and main function. It tries to approach the introduction in the tourism sphere and applicability from the search after inquiring into the preceding research about home and abroad tourism statistics and case. Through this, the concrete methodology about the GIS based festival visitor statistics management system development is presented. The collection fundamental of each local tourism statistical data for analyze the first analyzed results and various characteristic oves the area is urgent. Second, the system in which the number of a tourist or tourism income can be obligatorily actually collected in the systematic inside according to each local festival has to be prepared. Third, the support from the government of the government-level for the composition of the working environment in which the local government can introduce GIS efficiently is needed. Therefore, in the future, the research on the GIS based festival visitor statistics management system is needed for the more efficient festival visitor statistics management.

        축제서비스접점에서 축제개최자와 방문객간의 관계품질이 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향

        The influence that the relationship quality between a festival organizer and the festival customers reaches to the relationship intention in the festival service encounter. In the festival service encounter, this research analyzed relationship quality (satisfaction, trust, commitment) of a festival organizer and customers and influencing relationship of relationship intention. First the influencing relationship that relationship quality (satisfaction, trust, commitment) reaches to relationship intention was analyzed. As to the research result, first relationship quality factors, 3 factors of F 1 (satisfaction, trust, commitment) were extracted. Second, relationship quality (satisfaction, trust, commitment) were exposed to have an effect on relationship intention altogether. In this research, relations between the relationship quality of a festival organizer, who is performing an intrinsic role as to holding and operating a festival in the festival service encounter, and customers and relationship intention were investigated. Also, this paper presented implications to consider how festival organizers improve customer satisfaction and maintain continued relations with them.

        지역투입산출모형에 의한 스포츠이벤트 경제적 파급효과

        This study analyzed economic ripple effects, targeting at participants in 2009 National University Basket Ball Championship(November 4-13) held in Yeonggwan-gun. Especially, this studyused Location Quotient Method(LQ) widely used in our country as a countermeasure of a direct investigation to make Regional Industry Connection Model and measured up economic ripple effects, based on regional expenses by visitors. As a result, this study found out that an expense per a person of participants as visitors in sports events for the period of 2009 National University Basket Ball Championship(November 4-13) was 375,500won, total 1.8 billion won. Second, as a direct and indirect economic ripple effect on regions calculated, manufacture induction effect was 2.6 billion won, income induction effect was 500 million won, VAT induction effect was 1.1 million won, and employment induction effect was 151 persons. The economic ripple effect will be used for an important objective material for bearing out validity to policy organizations taking charge of national expenses and provincial expenses as well as policy planners exciting them.

      • 주한외국인 문화관광이벤트 선택행동에 관한 연구

        This study aims to draw attribute of cultural tourism events based on actual studies about selective actions of foreigners, who reside in Korea, regarding cultural tourism events, to increase inflow of tourists from other countries and to show methods of telling the excellence of Korean culture. The scope for the actual studies was limited as teachers and parents of international schools located in Hannam-dong, Seoul, foreigners in Insa-dong area and members of the International Exchange Center. The survey on the spot was performed from April 21 to May 31, 2008. For sampling, 167 valid samples except for 33 samples with no consistency regarding the content among the 200 survey samples in total were the objects of the analysis. The result of this study is as follows; First, five factors such as F1 (family fraternity), F2 (escape from everyday life), F3 (education), F4 (special experience) and F5 (sociability) were sampled as selective factors of cultural tourism events through the factor analysis. Second, escape from everyday life (.477), education (.185,) family fraternity (.146) as the order affected positively on satisfaction of the respondents as the result of influences of recognized achievement of cultural tourism events on the foreigners` satisfaction. Third, the fact that affected on the intention of actions of the participants in touring cultural events as the result of the analysis on the influence of foreigners` satisfaction with cultural tourism events on their intention of action was verified.
