玄胡索藥鍼液의 acetylcholinesterase 억제효과와 항산화에 미치는 影響

It has been investigated about aging theory. However, aging mechanism still remains to be unknown. Aging and aging related diseases might be due to oxidative damage and these were modifiable by genetic and environmental factors. For designing an optimal medical treatment and countermeasure against aging and aging related disease, it is necessary to understand the aging mechanism. Acetylcholine(Ach) plays an important role in memory. If someone doesn't have enough Ach, he has a tendency to catch a Alzheimer's disease. Corydalis tuber has been clinically used to treat heart disease, gastrointestinal disease and other diseases including endocrine disease in Oriental medicine. The purpose of this article is to investigate the inhibitory effect on Acetylcholinesterase and scavenging effects on NO, DPPH of Corydalis tuber Acua-acupuncture solution(CTAS). The results are summerised as follows; 1. There is a significant inhibitory effect of 0.01 ㎎/㎖ CTAS group at 20, 30, 60 minutes and 0.1 ㎎/㎖ CTAS group at 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes on AchE. 2. There is no significant scavenging effect of CTAS on NO. 3. There is a significant scavenging effect of 0.1 ㎎/㎖ and 0.01 ㎎/㎖ CTAS group at 10 minutes but there is no significant scavenging effect at 20, 30, 60 minutes on DPPH. There is a significant scavenging effect of 1 ㎎/㎖ CTAS group at 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes on DPPH.

In the history of Chinese mathematics, Xu Guang-qi (徐光啓) is a person who translated and published Western mathematics in China and used it to reconstruct Chinese calendrical system. In this paper, we explored his thoughts on the background of his accomplishments and the circumstances under which such thoughts were made. 중국 수학의 역사에서 서광계(徐光啓)는 서양의 수학을 번역하여 출판하고 이를 이용하여 중국의 역법을 정비한 인물이다. 그가 이러한 업적을 이룬 배경에 있는 그의 사상과 그러한 사상이 만들어진 주변 여건에 대하여 알아보았다.

Objective : This study was designed to evaluate the effect of electroacupuncture with various scales on symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson's disease. Methods : Subjects were voluntarily recruited by newspapers and internet. All the subjects are confirmed as idiopathic parkinson's disease by a neurologist. The acupuncture therapy was performed twice a week for 8 weeks. Acupuncture points for EA group were GB34, and LR3, electrical stimulation frequency was 120Hz, duration 15 minutes, and intensity is up to pain threshold according to patients. The patient's symptoms were assessed before, after 4 weeks and after 8 weeks treatments by unified Parkinson's disease rating scale(UPDRS), modified Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y) stage, Schwab & England activity of daily living and freezing of gait questionnaire(FOGQ). Results : UPDRS I, II, III, IV and total UPDRS scores were significantly improved after 4 weeks(p<0.05) and after 8 weeks(p<0.05) compared to the pre-treatment. The scores of ADL were significantly improved after 4 weeks(p<0.05) and after 8 weeks(p<0.05). There were significant changes in H-Y stage after 4 weeks(p<0.05), but There were no significant changes in H-Y stage after 8 weeks. There were significant changes in FOGQ scale after 4 weeks(p<0.05) and after 8 weeks(p<0.05). Conclusion : This study suggests that electroacupuncutre treatments can be applicable to improve symptoms in the patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease.

The painter Leon Battista Alberti insisted that mathematics was very important in painting in his famous book "Della Pittura(On Painting)" at 15th century. At the first part of the book, he explained about points, lines, and planes mathematically. And he emphasized that the proportion was very useful for accurate description of objects. This is the perspective that Alberti showed by using visual pyramid. In this paper, we investigate the Alberti' s method and the background of Alberti's perspective.
