폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET)의 內部摩擦損 및 誘電損의 溫度特性에 關한 相關性 硏究

This paper investigated comparatively the temperature dependence of dielectric α relaxation process and dynamic mechanical α relaxation process. Dynamic mechanical and dielectric loss data on a given polythylene terephthalate (PET) are generally viewed as being directly comparable. This is based on the notion that, if each exhibits a loss peak at about the same temperature and frequency, they must be manifestations of the same process. This supposes that the process couples in the exact same manner with both mechanical and electrical stress fields. That this need be so may be seen from the fact that not only non polar process give rise to dynamic mechanical losses, but also dipolar losses. The results obtained are as follows. 1) Dielectric α peak and dynamic mechanical α peck in PET are observed at almost same temperature correspondently. 2) The elongated sample exhibits the higher α peck at the almost same maximum temperature. 3) The magnitude, location and breadth of the α relaxation in PET are strong function of the degree of crystallinity and also the manner in which a particular degree of crystallinity is attained. And the degree of crystallinity is changed with external conditions, that is, density, annealing. quenching, drawing, orientations and irradiation etc. 4) In the results of observation the absorption peak at 1,788 ?? on infrared spectra, the more bigger concentration of carbonyl dipole group was observed on the elongated sample.
放射線으로 照射된 Polyvinylchloride의 耐放射性 電氣傳導度에 可塑劑가 미치는 影響

有機錫系 安定劑를 포함하고 있는 polyvinylchloride(PVC)의 耐放射性은 可塑劑로서 첨가된 dioctylphthalate(DOP)의 양의 증가와 더부러 증가하며 이와 같은 耐放射性의 평가는 시료의 IR 특성상에서 안정제의 解離에 起因하고 있는 1,540∼1,640cm-1에서의 흡수대가 선량과 더부러 변화하는 거동으로 살필 수 있다. 가소화된 PVC에서의 내방사성의 증가는 DOP 분자구조의 일부를 형성하는 benzen 環에서 방사 에너지가 공명흡수 되기 때문이라 思料되며 이와 같은 見解는 방사선량에 대한 導電率變化特性의 고찰 결과와도 잘 일치한다. 實用的面에서 0∼100Mrad 사이의 선량에 대한 充分한 耐放射性을 얻기 위하여는 30phr 전후의 DOP 첨가량이 필요하다. In order to investigate corelation between contents of dioctylphthalate polyvinylchloride blent dibutyl tin dilaulate with dibutyl tin maleate as stabilizer and the behaviors of radiation resistance as well as electrical conductivity on irradiated specimens, several observations were carried out. A characteristic peak observed in the range of 1,540-1,640cm-1 on infrared spectra shows such a sensitive response to radiation as the intensity decreases with increasing doses and that this tendency strongly depressed in the presence of plasticizer. It is seemingly attributed for origin of the peak to the existence of RCOO-jon resulting from dissociation of stabilizere, further the depressive effect of decreasing peak intensity influenced by radiation seems to be caused by resonance absorption in benzen ring being a consistituent of plasticizer. It is also suggestive to be use the peak behavior influenced by radiation as a criterion for the evaluation of radiation resistance of PVC. Further the results obtained from electrical conductivity measurement also exhibit reasonable characteristics explainable with views used for the interpretation of the peak behavior mentioned previousely.
PREDICTION FOR THE EFFECT OF SAMPLE GEOMETRY ON THE RESOLUTION OF NEUTRON TIME OF FLIGHT MEASUREMENT

中性子의 Time of Flight測定에 있어서 試料片의 幾何學的形態가 散亂 (實驗) 系의 檢出器에 나타나는 中性子時間分布의 分解度에 미치는 影響을 解析하였다. 여기서 檢出器 自體의 分解能의 影響에 對한 考慮는 除外한다. 1. Mechanical monoch1omator의 出口에서의 中性子分布를 時間及이 裝置의 主軸으로 向한 速度의 delta函數 表示로 假定하고 檢出器에서의 中性子 時間分布를 求하는 一般式을 얻었다. 이 論文에서는 中性子의 時間分布의 標準偏差로서 分解度의 尺度로 삼았다. 2. 具體的 計算例로서 散亂系의 平面的 配置에서 4種類 空間配置에서 1種類를 選定하고 各其에 對하여 計算結果를 提示했다. 3. 計算過程의 簡易化를 爲하여 矩形函數를 定義하고 이 論文中의 計算에 導入하였다. The effect of sample geometry on the resolution of neutron time distribution at the detector of scattering systems in neutron time of flight measurement has been analyzed. The consideration for the effect of resolution power of the detector itself has been excluded. 1. Under an assumption that the neutron distribution at the exit of a mechanical monochromator is expressed by delta function of time and velocity toward the main axis of the machine, a general formalization to evaluate the neutron tim distribution at detector has been obtained. In this paper the standard deviation of the time distibution was regarded as a measure of the resolution. 2. For examples of the detailed computation, four sample of scattering system having two dimensional arrangement and two samples of which having three dimensional arrangement were selected and the evaluation for each case has been presented. 3. To simplify the process of the calculation, rectangular function was defined and introduced in this paper.
