This study was carried out to develop a relationship between eco-schools and public schools. For this purpose, the numbers of the animal and plant species in the textbooks of the eco-school in Kildong Nature Eco-park were analyzed and compared with those of public schools. The animal and plant species in the ecm-school textbooks were the total of 297 and 419 species, respectively. Athropods and Dicotyledons were most abundant among animals and plants. respectively. Only vascular plants and fungi among plants were introduced and others were never mentioned. One characteristic of the textbook of the eco-school was that animals and plants which can be observable easily in the eco-park were selected in the textbook, This study suggests the possibility of connection between eco-schools and public schools, e.g., outdoor activities of eco-schools and indoor activities of public schools. This connection might be successful when observable species and timing of plants and animals are considered. To develop relationships between public school and eco-school programs for various disciplines such as evolution. adaptation, ecosystem and environmental problems, teachers of both parts should get together and develop special textbooks and programs based on analysis of public school and eco-school textbooks and survey of plants and animals in eco-parks.
고분자물질(高分子物質) 첨가(添加)에 따른 마찰저항감소(摩擦抵抗減少)에 관한 연구(硏究)

It is well known that drag reduction in single phase liquid flow is affected by polymer material, molecular weight, polymer concentration, pipe diameter, and flow velocity. Drag reduction in two phase flow can be applied to the transport of crude oil, phase change system such as chemical reactor, pool and boiling flow, and to present cavitation which occurs in pump impellers. But the research of drag reduction in two phase flow is not sufficient. The purpose of the present work is to evaluate the drag reduction by measuring pressure drop, void fraction, mean liquid velocity, and turbulent intensity whether polymer is added in the horizontal two phase system or not. Experiment has been conducted in a test section with the inner diameter of 24mm and the length of 1,500mm. The polymer materials used are two kinds of polyacrylamide[PAAM] and co-polymer[A611P]. The polymer concentration was varied with 50, 100 and 200 ppm under the same experimental conditions. Experimental results showed that the drag reduction of co-polymer is higher than that of polyacrylamide. Mean liquid velocities increased as polymer was added, and turbulent intensity decreased inversely near the pipe wall.

The purpose of this paper is to compare the differences of readiness for independent economic living between youths living in poverty and common youths on the themes of knowledge, skills and values and attitudes. To accomplish the purpose, the following analysis was conducted; documentary and statistical analysis based on the survey. The following are the major findings of this study. First, the economic knowledge of youths living-in-poverty was lower than average, showing a strong aspiration to learn employment readiness skills and financial management skills. Second, youths living in poverty had significantly lower economic knowledge and lower will for independent economic living than those of common youths, even catching significantly higher skills in employment readiness. Third, it was found that sex, family cohesiveness, and school atmosphere made very significant effect on the readiness for independent economic living of both youths, even some differences between the groups. From these findings, some implications for the economic education for youths living in poverty can be suggested.
개발된 놀이, 체험 및 관찰 실험 활동 프로그램과 과학(생물)교과 내용과의 연계성 검토

The environmental education appeared as a fundamental task for the solution of environmental problems. In Korea, as interests in the environmental education has been increased, the 'environment' was adapted as a new subject since the 6th national curriculum and interdisciplinary approach has become important. The purposes of this study are to broaden domains of environmental education that could be realized in the science (biology) textbooks, to suggest experiment and experience centered programs and to connect informal education to formal education. For doing this, the contents involved in environmental education among biology subjects in science (biology) textbooks were listed and the environmental programs in 'Fundamental Plans for Seoul Grand Park Nature-Ecology Education Center' were sorted into plant, animal and ecological themes. In the science textbooks, contents of animal and plant themes are more than those of ecological themes at every level. The programs involved in the science curriculum consist of mainly play and experience programs rather than experiment programs at elementary school, however the results are reversed at middle and high school. Finally it was suggested to develope and realize more effectual teaching and learning method, to develope the environmental education programs which target middle and high school students, and to activate the environmental education programs on the theme of animal.
