Explicit Knowledge of L2 Chunks and Chunking in English Learning and Use

This present research was designed to explore how and to what extent explicit knowledge of L2 chunks and chunking, which have both grammatical and idiomatic information, would benefit English learning and use. The operation of an EFL learner's explicit L2 chunks and chunking knowledge has been qualitatively investigated over a 6-month period. Through ethnographic data collecting methods such as observations and interviews of the participant's process of acquiring L2 knowledge system, it was found that the awareness of explicit knowledge of English chunks and chunking significantly played an effective role in developing the English language system in terms of fluency, accuracy, and complexity. Based on the results of this study, the researchers suggest that the explicit and declarative knowledge become implicit and procedural knowledge through prolonged and systematic practices: the explicit knowledge of L2 chunks and chunking works positively for L2 learning and use.
Dual Swirl 인젝터의 분산각에 관한 해석적 연구

Numerical analysis of the spray angles of Dual swirl injector were investigated to obtain basic design data and to predict the combustion performance. Using the commercial thermal hydraulic program, discharge coefficients and spray angles were numerically analyzed with recess length, pressure drop, velocity ratio, mixture ratio and back hole length. Water was used as simulants for oxidizer and fuel, respectively to compare the experimental results. Swirl injectors were designed to inject oxidizer of 70.5g/s and fuel of 29.5g/s at the pressure drop of 1MPa and two recess lengths were considered. In addition, the effect of injector geometry coefficient and velocity ratio on the discharge coefficient was studied.
바이오플락과 유수식 시스템에서 메기(Silurus asotus) 배합사료내 단백질 함량에 따른 성장도 및 수질 비교 연구

Biofloc technology (BFT) systems provides an additional protein source for fish by converting waste in microbial flocs. Therefore, we aimed to determine the difference in the protein levels of the diet of Far Eastern catfish Silurus asotus reared in BFT and FW systems. We applied a two-way (six protein levels × two aquaculture systems) ANOVA design. We formulated six experimental diets to contain different protein levels (CPs)– 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 40% and 45%–referred to as the CP20, CP25, CP30, CP35, CP40 and CP45 diets, respectively. We randomly distributed 900 fish into 36 (18 each for BFT and FW), 300 L tanks (25 fish/tank) with three replications of each diet for 4 weeks. The weight gain (WG) and specific growth rate (SGR) considerably improved as the dietary protein level increased in the formulated diets. The BFT fish showed higher growth performance with any experimental diet than the FW fish. The growth performance of the fish fed the BFT-CP35 diet was higher than that of the fish fed the FW-CP45 diet. In conclusion, the cultivation of Far Eastern catfish (S. asotus) in BFTs can be carried out under reduced dietary protein levels.

막냉각은 고온의 연소가스에 장시간 노출되어 있는 공기흡입식 추진기관의 연소실 내벽을 열적으로 보호하기 위해 사용하고 있으며, 슬롯형 냉각라이너를 이용한 막냉각 방법은 냉각특성을 향상시키기 위해 오랫동안 연구되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 다중 슬롯형 냉각라이너의 연소영역과 냉각영역에서의 기체역학적 유동 및 열전달 계산에 대한 연구결과를 기술하였다. Film cooling is used to protect thermally the inner wall of combustion chamber exposed to hot gas in air-breathing propulsion system and specially film cooling using slotted cooling liner has been investigated to improve the cooling characteristics for a long time. In this paper results from gas dynamic and heat transfer calculations were presented in the combustion area and cooling area of multi-slotted cooling liner.

고속 비행체의 연소기의 외벽을 냉각하기 위한 요소를 개발하기 위해 예비 설계 단계로 연소기 내부의 열유속을 예측하였다. 이를 위하여 모델연소기 형상을 가정하고, 이에 따른 내부 열유속을 계산하여 냉각소요량을 산출하였다. 예측한 결과는 기존의 유사한 연구사례를 이용하여 비교하였다. Heat flux inside combustor of high speed vehicles was estimated to develop cooling system of combustor in preliminary design step. Configuration of model combustor is assumed by axisymmetric combustor to calculate heat loads. Estimated heat loads were compared with precedent study case.
