        Nowadays the alternative current which can be used for verses just like the electric machine on the land is adopted. But as it more difficult to drive the vessels by the alternative current them by direct current. it will be ideal if the second electric power becomes the foundation of driving vessels. And so, I make a list the cause of disregarding Direct Current Generator. 1.D.C. Generator can not be made into large size because of the turns, isolations, and recieving power between coils by the large current of high electric pressure being caused from armature, wneh it is being turned for rectification. 2.Sparks proceed between brush sand commutator by the self induction of the armature coil. 3.Consideration of the reaction of the armature when it is made. 4.The radiation by the air on the occasion of making the armature turn, and the conduction through the casing on the occasion of fixing the armature. In order to improving the week point of direct current generator as above, I make a discription on the method of inducing the eletromotive force of direct current suitable for the direct current generating by avoiding the method of inducing the alternative force, which becomes the basie cause of the week point.

      • Diesel機關에서 混合然料를 燃燒시킬때 燃燒溫度에 關한 考察

        In onder to decreasing fuel consumption, fuel oil(diesel oil, Bunkcher-C) mixed with water in injected inrto the cylinder. The results of combustion are follows : 1.Injecting fuel oil mixed with water into the cylinder the combustion temperatuie is increased. 2.The combustion temperature of mixing fuel oil is greater than that of pure fuel oil(mixed ratio 10%, 20%, 30%) and mean pressure in crlinder increasing, the out put is increased. 3.Asbunker -D+Diesel oil was contained water, 4/4 load 7as better efficiency. 4.When Diesel oil was mixed with water, the efficiency of 4/4 load was greater than that of 3/4 load.

        Imperatorin Suppresses Degranulation and Eicosanoid Generation in Activated Bone Marrow-Derived Mast Cells

        Imperatorin has been known to exert many biological functions including anti-inflammatory activity. In this study, we investigated the inhibitory effects of imperatorin on the production of inflammatory mediators in mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMC). Imperatorin inhibited degranulation and the generation of eicosanoids (leukotriene C4 (LTC4) and prostaglandin D2 (PGD2)) in IgE/antigen (Ag)-stimulated BMMC. To elucidate the molecular mechanism involved in this process, we investigated the effect of imperatorin on intracellular signaling in BMMC. Biochemical analyses of the IgE/Ag-mediated signaling pathway demonstrated that imperatorin dramatically attenuated degranulation and the production of 5-lipoxygenase-dependent LTC4 and cyclooxygenase-2-dependent PGD2 through the inhibition of intracellular calcium influx/phospholipase Cγ1, cytosolic phospholipase A2/mitogen-activated protein kinases and/or nuclear factor-kB pathways in BMMC. These results suggest that the effects of imperatorin on inhibition of degranulation and eicosanoid generation through the suppression of multiple steps of IgE/Ag-mediated signaling pathways would be beneficial for the prevention of allergic inflammation.

        영어교사 연수 실태 및 요구 조사 연구

        This study examines the current state of in-service English teacher training and teachers' needs. 336 primary and secondary English teachers took part in the questionnaire survey. The analysis of the responses reveals that the primary goals they set are to improve their language competence and teaching skills, and the teacher training courses they took have been helpful in improving their teaching practice. It is also found that heavily examination-oriented classes, administration workload and large class are key factors to impede change process when the trainees go back to class after training. The finding also shows that there is more demand for more language improvement courses and teaching practice in order to bring about change. It is suggested that the process of training trainers and assessment need to be improved to make training courses relevant to daily teaching. It is found that training experience in English-speaking countries is of help in language improvement, cultural understanding and motivation enhancement. Based on the findings from the survey, it is suggested that effective change in teacher training can be brought about when parties involved in teacher training communicate and work in collaboration to improve in-service teacher development.

        Action Research in Online English Class and Teacher Development

        Action research, as a form of applied research, has gained attention in language teacher education. This paper reports a study on how a language teacher has improved his own online instruction through action research in collaboration with a colleague. The study employs classroom observation, teacher diary, questionnaire and interview for data collection. The analysis of the gathered data reveals that the development of the teacher's critical awareness is encouraged by reflective teaching through the classroom investigation and collaboration. It is found that action research, combined with what is known from the research literature, provides a useful and viable approach to making educational decisions at the local level. It is further recognized that change in the teacher's attitudes towards classroom practices has a positive effect on his students' learning. From these findings, it is suggested that one viable way of bridging the gap between theory and practice is to encourage teachers to adopt a research orientation to their own classroom practice, and to engage in research projects. The research findings also suggest that priorities and values of people of a particular cultural context should be considered in setting up language teacher development programs. It is further suggested that efforts should be made to set up a network for dissemination of the research findings in a given context.

        A classroom-centered research on interaction through peer review in the online English class

        This study reports a teacher-initiated classroom investigation on how interaction can be enhanced through peer feedback among students in the college online English class. Data were collected from different sources including student self-assessment, questionnaire, students’ written work, pre- and post-tests, and teacher’s diary entries. The research used quantitative and qualitative research methods in the complementary manner. The gathered data were triangulated to improve the validity of the finding. It was found that peer review in writing activity could promote interaction among students in the online class and benefit students’ second or foreign language learning. It was also found that peer feedback activity could bring change in the traditional teacher-centered online class by giving students an opportunity to get self-directed and to work in collaboration with their peers. Through classroom research the teacher was involved in the critical reflection upon his practice, and his ownership of change was enhanced over the investigation process. The finding of the current study in terms of continuing professional development suggests that teachers learn and develop through the investigation into their own language class.
