일부(一部) 생명보험(生命保險) 가입자(加入者)의 혈청총(血淸總)콜레스테롤치(値)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

The serum total cholesterol levels were measured by Rosenthal modified method for the insured persons who had passed the medical examination in a life insurance company, Seoul. The sera were obtained from 1,878 adults, 626 males and 1,252 fermales, from sep 1980 to Dec. 1981. The results obtained in the measurement were as follows; 1. The mean and standard deviation of serum cholesterol level in the healthy insured persons were $163{\pm}$ in male, and $157{\pm}24mg%$ in female. The difference of the values between male and female showed statistical signifi- (p<0.01). With regard to sex and age differences, female were significantly higher than male in the 10's, and male were higher than female in the 20's and 50's between both sexes. 2. The cholesteol of male was gradully increased about 12mg% according to the increase of every 10-year interval, but no increase was observed from the 40's to the 50's. The cholesterol level of female was higher in the 10's than in the 20's, and was increased gradually from the 20's to the 50's. 3. No significant difference in serum total cholesterol levels between the insured persons and other normal Korean groups was observed; the frequency distribution of the cholestrol level for the population showed normal distribution.
용접철망을 사용한 슬래브 접합부의 구조성능에 관한 실험적 연구 : 불연속슬래브 접합부를 중심으로

Recently the construction of residential building faces many difficulties due to the shortage of building materials and works. Simplifying the stage of processing and assembling reinforcing rods and increasing the efficiency of them in reinforced concrete construction can be used to settle the difficulties. In the respect, structural wire-fabric is utilized. The purpose of this study, instead of deformed steel bars, to examine the utilization of slab joint, which is accompanied with a large deformation in the structure subjected to seismic loads, to suggest reinforcing method which is efficient, easily constructible and structurally safe. The results are as follows ; 1. The ductility capacity of slab reinforced by welded wire fabric was less than with deformed bar in discontinuous slab joint. To enhance the ductility capacity, deformed bar should be used with welded wire fabric for the longitudinal reinforcement. 2. It is avoid to use loop welded wire fabric as the longitudinal reinforcement in wall, because the strength and ductility capacity showed lower value than that with deformed bar. 3. Using welded wire fabric in wall structures, it need deformed bar reinforcement with sufficient anchorage length.
Clipping 기반의 무선 인터넷 사이트 구축용 변환 서버 구현

Because a quantity of wireless internet contents is much less than wired internet contents, it exist high necessities that wired internet contents should be converted into wireless internet contents. The conversion server implemented in this paper, automatically recognizes the type of user agents when they request, retrieves source documents on the web site specified by an URL, generates metaXML documents as an intermediate form, and converts them wireless markup documents appropriate for user agents. The conversion server interoperates with the image converter for image conversion and the clipper which is an authoring tool for clipping existing wired internet documents. We performed experiments about capability of the conversion server transcoding static/dynamic web pages specified by an URL. According to performance results on dynamic web pages, the conversion server showed better throughput when a thread pool in the server maintains 5 threads compared with 1 and 10 threads. 현재 유선 인터넷 컨텐츠와 비교할 때 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠가 크게 부족하여 유선 컨텐츠들을 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠로 변환시키고자 하는 요구가 높다. 본 연구의 변환 서버는 사용자 단말기로부터 요청을 자동적으로 인식하여 대상 URL 서버상의 원본 문서를 검색하여 이들을 중간 언어인 metaXML 문서로 생성하고 이를 사용자 단말기에 적합한 무선 마크업 언어 문서로 변환 출판한다. 또한, 본 변환 서버는 이미지 변환을 위하여 이미지 변환기와 기존 웹 페이지들의 재구성 저작 도구인 Clipper와 연동하여 동작한다. 대상 URL의 정적/동적 웹 페이지를 처리하는 변환 서버의 처리 능력에 대하여 성능 실험을 수행하였으며, 동적 문서에 대한 변환 실험 결과에 따르면, 변환 서버내 스레드 풀의 스레드 개수를 5개로 유지할 때 변환 서버가 가장 나은 처리량을 나타내었다.
