混合燃料로 史用한 農用小型 디이젤 機關의 性能에 관한 硏究(Ⅱ) : Rape Seed Oil 10%,Diesel Oil 90% 油菜油10% 輕油90%

(1) 디이젤機關用 代替燃料로서 混合油를 選擇한 動機를 提示하였으며 混合油의 디이젤機關 燃料로서의 特性을 檢討하였다. (2) 混合油로서 디이젤機關을 運轉할 경우 디이젤油에 比하여 燃料消費量이 若干 增加하였으며 長時間 運轉할 경우 燃燒室의 카아본 堆積이 가장 어려운 問題로 登場할 것으로 思料된다. (3) 排氣溫度와 騷音은 混合油가 디이젤油보다 若干 낮았다. Performance tests of small diesel engine for farm use using mixture fuel oil as a fuel were carried out and the following results were obtained. (1) In the case of rated-horse power operation, the fuel consumption of mixture fuel oil showed overage 5.1 percent larger than of light oil. (2) Exhaust gas temperature of mixture fuel oil was average 12.5℃ lower than that of light oil in the continuous c1 using test. (3) Noise of mixture fuel oil and light oil were almost equal for each condition. (4) Other performance (at starting, at no load performance of maximum and minium engine speed) using mixture fuel oil were almost equal to those of light oil. (5) In the case of long-time operation as a mixture fuel oil, carbon deposit of combustion chamber is regarded as difficult problem.
제주도에서의 풍력에너지 이용을 위한 공학적 예측에 관한 연구(1) : On the Characteristics of Wind Speed 풍속특성에 관하여

This paper examined the characteristics of wind speed from the self-recording paper which had been measured at local weather stations at Cheju, Seogui, Sungsan and Daejung from Oct. 1984 to Sep. 1985 by computerizing the 10-minute average wind speeds according to monthly and regional items. The results are as follows; 1. We counted the monthly Weibull parameters(k, c) throughout the same period described above from Cheju, Seogui, Sungsan and Daejung stations. 2. The measurment of the Weibull parameters at intervals of 10 minutes per hour gave almost all the same estimating values. Even if we calculate the Weibull parameters for any 10 minutes per hour, there appears to be no significant difference. 3. When the monthly average wind speed distribution is low, it is clear that a Weibull function is well fitted to the data when observations of calm cannot be included in calculation of p(v).

This experimental study has been conducted to investigate spray mechanism of diesel spray under the parameters of injection pressure and ambient pressure. Also this study provides the information on effect of sac chamber. The results obtained in this study are as follows ; The higher ambient pressure, the shorter length of the ligaments and atomization is happened droplet from ligament rapidly. The fuel which remain in sac chamber and orifice becomes projected liquid column of spray tip at initial stage, this is atomized by overtaking of spray tip for time elapsed.
Scoria, Trachyte, Styropor의 保溫 斷熱性에 關한 實驗的 硏究(Ⅱ)

In this paper, we tried to compare Scoria and Trachyte with Styropor in the effect of insulator for the purpose of the economic utilization of natural resources. The results of this study may be summarized as follows; 1. The properties of temperature variation in model rooms, (ⅰ) The temperature increases in the order of Styropor, Scoria, Trachyte. (ⅱ) The temperature decreases in the order of Trachyte, Scoria, Styropor. 2. The effects of temperature variation, (ⅰ) When the temperature increases Scoria and Styropor showed almost the same effect or variation. (ⅱ) When the temperature decreases Trachyte and Scoria showed almost the same variation or effect. 3. Temperature variations in accordance to the pass of time, (ⅰ) When the temperature rises, it increases sharply for the first 80 minutes, but gradually since then. (ⅱ) When the temperature falls, it decreases gradually for the first 60 minutes, but sharply since then.

Wind turbine system converts wind energy into electric energy. Since the velocity of wind is random in nature, control of the angular velocity of the blade is necessary in order to generate high quality electric power. The control of the blade can be divided into the stall regulation type and the pitch control type. The stall regulation type which utilizes an aerodynamic stall is simple and cheap, but it suffers from fluctuation of the resulting power. On the contrary, pitch control type is based on the fact that the torque of the blade can be changed by varying the pitch angle of the blade. It is mechanically and mathematically complicated, but the control performance is better than that of the stall regulation type. This paper derives a mathematical modeling of the wind turbine system, and suggests a pitch control algorithm. The validity of the algorithm is demonstrated with the results produced through sets of experiments.

An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the influences of injection pressure and ambient pressure on diesel spray. Especially, diesel sprays were visualized by means of double flash. The visualized spray volumes at the ambient pressure of 3MPa increase more steeply with respect to the elapsed injection time than the atomospheric pressure. The spray tip penetration is increased according to higher injection pressure and lower ambient pressure. When the ambient pressure is further increased, the transition of the spray tip penetration occurs earlier. And the spray tip velocity increases with higher injection pressure but decreases with higher ambient pressure. The spray cone angle does not vary with increasing injection time, but it depends significantly on the ambient pressure.

This experimental study has been conducted to investigate the effect of nozzle diameter on spray characteristics under the parameters of injection pressure and ambient pressure. The double flash method was used to visualize diesel sprays, and the results obtained in this study are as follows; The diesel spray is divided into smooth liquid core, disturbed liquid core and the chaotic region which is generated the droplets and the ligaments by spray overtaking. The transition point with spray tip velocity variation under the injection pressure of experimental rage in ambient pressure 3MPa is generated in earlier duration time as high spray pressure. Also, spray tip velocity is gradually decreased as the increase of the spray tip velocity.
