A sampling voltmeter implemented with a microcessor had been developed by Field. It can measure the true RMS voltage of very low frequency inputs (0.1-120Hz), but it can do it for only sinusoidal or approximately sinusoidal inputs. In this paper, the algorithms of the voltage measuring system is described which can measure the true RMS voltage of very low frequency periodic inputs which have the first 5 harmonics.

This study was aimed at searching for improvements in the strategies and content of the Communication Technical Teacher In-Service Training Program at C.N.U. The data were gathered from the questionnaires received from 21 teachers who attended the In-Service Teacher Training Program constructed by the Industrial Education College of C.N.U. from July 2, 1982 to August 18, 1982. The findings of this study were: 1. Teachers receiving training should be able to choose their training subjects and participate in the class which is related to their present lecture in the secondary school during the Inservice Training Program regardless of the subjects of their Teacher Qualification Certificate. 2. The practice in the major subject area should be more emphasized than it has been so far, after finding the method to supplement the basic theory in the major subject area. 3. The training content should be constructed to be congrouent with the secondary school curriculum. 4. The field trip/industry visitation should be more emphasized than it has been. 5. The attitude of the teacher receiving training must be more sincere and active.

This thesis aims at finding the present abilities of the graduates from Electronic Departments of Technical High schools, their present value to the Electronic Industry, and the required qualifications. The following suggestions are proposed to improve the education of Technical High schools, and to meet the needs of the future. -Such basic subjects as English, Korean(including Chinese letters), Mathematics are to be emphasized in the curricula. -Basic theory in major subjects should be broadened rather than stressing experiments and practice in specific trades. -Major subjects are to include more wide and general theories than those of the present.

미세주사효과를 이용한 배경기반 열영상 불균일 보정 기법

본 논문에서는 미세주사장치를 이용하는 이차원배열 적외선 검출기의 불균일 출력특성 보정을 위한 배경 신호 기반의 디지털방식 실시간 보정 기법을 제안한다 기존의 배경기반 불균일 보정 알고리즘은 영상의 움직임을 전제로 하가 때문에 정지영상에 적용하는 경우 영상이 흐려지면서 사라지는 현상이 나타난다 제안된 기법에서는 미세주사 효과와 변형된 Scribner의 알고리즘을 이용하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 영상의 불균일을 실시간으로 보정하였다 컴퓨터 모의실험과 하드웨어 시험을 통해 제안된 기법은 동영상뿐만 아니라 정지영상에서도 뛰어난 성능을 보임을 입증하였다. In this paper, a real-time implementation of scene-based non-uniformity correction by digital technique is proposed for microscan-mode staring infrared cameras. Most scene-based non-uniformity correction algorithms, without sensor motion, can not be applied to stationary scenes because of image blurring and fading. Using microscanning effect, coupled with a modified version of Scribner's algorithm, the proposed technique can correct the artifacts and non-uniformities in real time Computer simulations and hardware experiments demonstrate substantial Improvement of image qualities in stationary as well as moving scenes.

The paper describes the simulation of a closed loop system for the speed control of a seperately excited DC motor drived by a SCR dual converter. The dual converter makes possible regenerative braking and reversal of direction of rotation. Proportional plus integral type of controllers have been used to achive good dynamic and steady-state responses.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of inservice training in order to evaluate the current training program sponsored by the Secondary School Teacher Inservice Training Center. The contents and time of this program was implemented during Summer, 1986. The program was for the teachers to obtain the advence qualification. A total of 405 teachers were registered to the program and the questionnaire developed by the investigators administered to the participants of the program. The content of the questionnaire composed of 1) Personal data, 2) General curriculum, 3) Pedagogical subjects, 4) Subject Specialty, 5) Evaluation method, 6) The conditions and facilities for learning. The findings of this study were as follows; (1) General curriculum facilitated and encouraged the participants to inhence the national morality, comittment to teaching profession and democratic citizenship. (2) Pedagogical subjects facilitated and encouraged the participants to improve teaching skills. (3) Subject specialty area facilitated the participants to improve the knowledge of teaching subject. (4) For the evaluation methods, most participants favored objective test more for the general curriculum and pedagogical subject than subject specialty area. (5) The conditions and facilities for learning were responded unfavorable to the participants especially in computer availability and teaching method of computer.
