This paper studies the scope and text summary of international standards related to adjustable speed de drive systems, especially IEC 61800-1and IEC 61136-1 IEC 61800-1 applies to general purpose adjustable speed dc drive systems which include the power conversion, control equipment, and also a motor or motors, This standard applies to power drive systems connected to line voltages up to 1kV a c, 50Hz or 60Hz IEC 61136-1 provides alternative methods for specifying ratings for semiconductor power convertors for adjustable speed electric drive systems, particularly for dc motor drives.

For digital computation of inverter circuits, the generalized state equations by using logic variables decided by SCR` s states are derived and those are solved by Euler`s method. The SCRs are considered to ideal switch when they are off and a small resistance when they are on. Advantage of this method is that the generalized state equations can be set up regardless of mode change and that computation error created by iteration calculation is reduced by reduction of program. The digitally computed results of series inverter with an R load are presented and shown to be in close agreement with theoretical results.

절연된 부스트 변환기는 전기적인 절연과 매우 높은 승압을 필요로 하는 응용분야에 적합한 변환기이다. 낮은 입력전압을 높은 출력전압으로 승압하기 위해 필요한 변압기는 volt-sec 평형 조건을 만족하여야한다. 기존의 절연된 부스트 변환기는 도통구간을 오버랩하여 제어하였으며 이 경우 제어회로가 복잡해지는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 변압기의 volt-sec 평형을 위해 리셋권선을 설치하고 자기구동 스위치를 이용하여 제어회로를 간단하게 구성할 수 있는 절연된 부스트 변환기를 제안하고 해석한다. 마지막으로 출력 10[W]급의 절연된 부스트 변환기를 구성하여 시뮬레이션하고 실험을 수행하여 제안한 변환기의 이론적 해석의 타당성을 입증하였다. Isolated boost converter is desirable in the dc/dc converter applications where isolation is required and extremely high step up is needed. Transformer used to step up low input voltage into high output voltage must satisfy the volt-sec balance condition. Conventional isolated boost converter is controlled with conducting intervals overlapping. In this case, there is a problem that control circuit is complicated. In this paper, it is proposed and analyzed the isolated boost converter which set up a reset winding for the volt-sec balance of transformer and can construct the control circuit simple by using a self-driven switch. Finally, the validity of the theoretical analyses for the proposed converter is verified by both simulations and experiments on the 10[W] class isolated boost converter.
쵸퍼에 의한 직류전동기 (直流電動機) 속도제어계통의 과도해석에 (過渡解析) 관한 연구

The paper deals with the transient analysis of a dc series motor, controlled by a chopper with time-ratio control with square-wave output voltage. The main problem in the analysis of the chopper-fed dc series motor for steady-state and transient-state arises due to the nonlinear relation between the armature-induced voltage and the armature current. This paper presents generalized methods of transient analysis of chopper-fed dc series motor taking into account nonlinearity and suggests linear approximation methods of magnetization characteristic of the dc series motor. Moreover, the method requires much less computation time than is necessary for a step-by-step solution of the system differential equation, for different modes of the chopper cycle. Based on the methods, computer simulations are carried out. As a result, it is known that the methods are available by experimentations. This method can be used for driving transfer functions of the time-ratio chopper-controlled dc series motor for small-signal perturbation around a steady-state operation point.

In analyzing a controlled rectifier, it has been assumed generally that input source has zero internal impedance. But, in practice, the input source always has some finite amount of internal impedance and source impedance may be sufficiently large to be considered. By this impedance, the voltage and current of a ciruit have a difference between theoretical value obtained with zero source impedance and practical value. In this paper, the overlap angle considering input source impedance and load condition is analized by using a digital computer and current waveforms on ovelap inteval is obtained by experiments.
