The anesthetic management of patients with pheochromocytoma presents many difficult problems, such as hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypotension. A 21 year-old male underwent resection of pheochromocytoma under general anesthesia with isoflurane and fentanyl. Hypertensive crisis during induction of anesthesia and surgical manipulation of the tumor were managed with phentolamine and sodium nitroprusside drips. Anesthesia was maintained wtih nitrous oxide : oxygen, 50% : 50%, isoflurane, 0.5-2% and supplemented with fractional doses of fentanyl and vecuronium for muscular relaxation. We also used propranolol for the cardiac arrhythmia. An endotracheal semi-closed circle absorption technique with controlled ventilation was employed. Fentanyl does not release histamine, and has stable hemodynamics. Isoflurane has also advocated on the grounds that arrhythmias are less esaily provocated by circulating catecholamines than with other volatile agents, and has been shown to be a satisfactory agent. Vecuronium does not provoke catecholamine release, does not release histamine, has no autonomic effects at clinical plasma concentrations, and is clearly the neuromuscular blocking agent of choice in this case. Optimal pre-operative preparation, smooth induction of anesthesia, adequate alveolar ventilation, proper cardiovascular control, and good communication between surgeon and anesthesiologist are most important for the anesthetic management of pheochromocytoma.
FRET-Nanomaterials for One-Step Sensors of Cellular Cholesterol

Cholesterol is an important component of animal cell membranes and the main precursor for synthesis of different biomolecules such as bile acids, steroid hormones and vitamin D. Various analytical methods have been developed for detecting cholesterol which exists in lipoprotein form mixed with lipid and proteins in serum. On the other hand, the conformation of cholesterols varies depending on the environment in which it is surrounded. In our research, we try to detect a cholesterol which is embedded in cell membrane to figure out a relationship between lipid and cholesterol in membrane. Turn-on sensing mechanism based on FRET is suitable for targeting a low concentration of cholesterol in cell membrane because of its high sensitivity. We developed one-step fluorescence turn-on sensing materials with combination of commonly used nanomaterials (AuNPs, Au Nano cube, GO) and chem-bio ligand interfacing. It can be observable to detection of cholesterol in cell membrane.

Purpose: To better understand falls in elderly women, we measured differences in muscle activities of 4 lower extremity muscles (tibialis anterior, soleus, rectus femoris, biceps femoris) based on angle plantar-flexion in elderly women. Methods: Subjects were 15 healthy elderly women. No subjects had musculoskeletal or nervous disorders. EMGs were used to check muscle activity of lower extremity muscles. For statistic analysis, data were expressed as a percentage of maximal voluntary isometric contraction (%MVIC). We measured %MVIC for 5 sec under 4 conditions and did not use data for the first and last second. Muscle activities of the muscles of the lower extremities were measured based on the degree of plantar-flexion of the ankle joint. The 4 conditions corresponded to different degrees of: 0, 10, 20 and 30 degrees. This was done using a 50 cm board for measuring the degrees. Results: The tibialis anterior, soleus, and bicpes femoris showed increasing muscle activity associated with increasing degree of plantar-flexion of the ankle joint. All muscles showed a significant increase in muscle activities in association with increasing degrees. Rectus femoris showed a significant increase in muscle activity for 0 degrees and for the other degrees, but there were no further changes when plantar flexion of the ankle joint was over 10 degrees. Conclusion: Activities of the muscles of the lower extremities except rectus femoris were higher with increasing degree of plantar flexion. High muscle activity may result in muscle fatigue. Thus, increasing degree of plantar flexion may be risk factors of falls in elderly women.

It say that online supermarket run by suoer super market also can not sell products and goods on every twice Sunday holidays twice every month. Online business connects all over the world through internet. If we have inproper regulation korea online companies are falling down and left behind. This paper says we have to prevent expanding and introducing offline business regulation. This paper sugests 4 factors, to explains and online businesss.
