In this paper, we dealt with a partial discharge(PD) measurement method that has been accepted as an effective and non-destructive technique to estimate insulation performance of low-voltage electric and electronic devices. The PD measurement system Is composed of a coupling network, a low noise amplifier, and associated electronics. h shielded box Is adopted to make a better measurement environment against around noise. A low cut-off frequency of the coupling network estimated by a sinusoidal wave input was 125 kHz (-3 dB). Calibration tests on laboratory set-up have shown that the PD measurement system has a stable sensitivity of 10 mV/pC. In an application test oil a low-voltage three phase Induction motor (5 HP), we could detect 0.53 pC level of partial discharge at the applied voltage of AC 650 $V_{peak}$.

본 논문은 변전소내 정보기기에 나타나는 서지전압 전류의 측정 결과에 대해 기술하였다. 서지전압 전류 관측을 위한 전력분석기는 전력용 변압기와 개폐기 주변의 신호선에 설치하였으며, 전력분석기의 시간분해능은 4 MS/s이다. 측정된 서지전압.전류의 크기는 각각 500~1,300v와 500~3,100k 이었으며, 측정기간 동안 평균 5~10회/일 이상의 서지가 기록되었다. 따라서 고전압 전력설비 주변에 설치되는 정보기기는 설치환경에 나타나는 서지의 크기를 고려하여 설계되어야 할 것이다. This paper deals with the analysis results of surge voltage and current measured on information devices installed in a power substation. The power recorder to measure surge voltage and current was connected to signal lines near power transformers and switches, and the time resolution of the power recorder is 4 MS/s. Peak value of the measured surge voltage and current were ranges of 500~1,300v and 500~3,100k, respectively. During the period of measurement, over 5~10 events per day were recorded. Consequently, information devices installed in around high voltage power facilities should be designed considering the surge voltage and current caused in the condition.

저전압 전력계통에 사용되는 누전차단기의 서지에 대한 오동작은 심각한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 누전차단기의 서지에 대한 영향을 분석하기 위하여 IEC 61009-1와 KS C 4613 규격에 따라 누전차단기를 시험하였다. 서지전압 시험은 국내외 규격에 모두 적용되고 있으며, 서지전류 시험에 대해서는 국제규격 IEC 61009-1에만 규정되어 있다. 실험결과로부터 누전차단기는 서지전압에 대해서는 강인하지만 서지전류에 대해서는 오동작을 발생시켰다. 실제로 누전차단기가 설치되어 있는 환경에서는 서지전류의 침입이 빈번하므로, 누전차단기는 서지전류에 의한 오동작 시험이 수행되어야 하며, 국내규격에도 누전차단기 시험에 서지전류에 의한 평가를 포함하여야 할 것이다. Malfunction by electrical surges is a serious problem on earth leakage current breakers(ELBs) used in a low voltage AC power system. In this paper, we tested ELBs according to IEC 61009-1 and KS C 4613 to analyze surge influence on ELB's malfunction. The test by application of surge voltage is specified both standards, but the test by application of surge current is specified only in IEC 61009-1. The experimental results showed that the ELBs used in this test are robust to surge voltage application, but the malfunction occurred to surge current application. Surge current is more frequent than surge voltage in actual situation. Therefore, ELBs should be tested by the surge current, and the domestic standard, KS C 4613, should includes a test procedure by the surge current application.
전력케이블 진단을 위한 부분방전 검출장치의 설계 및 제작

In this paper, we designed and fabricated a partial discharge (PD) detector to diagnose the soundness of CNCV cables by analyzing PD pulses and to predict discharge locations. The PD detector is consisted of a coupling network with a discharge free capacitor and a detection impedance, a voltage follower and a low noise amplifier. Lower cut-off frequency of the detector is adjusted at 175㎑ to block AC voltage and to pass discharge pulse only. The discharge location could be obtained by the time of arrival method using travelling wave propagation theory. In a laboratory test on an eighty-meter CV cable, we could position the discharge location within a two-meter error.
급전선로에 설치되어 있는 피뢰기의 누설전류 측정과 관리방안

This paper describes the measurement result of leakage current flowing arresters connected in feeder lines to propose an optimal management method. Twenty seven arresters set in seven areas were analyzed on a regular basis for 4 months. The results showed that the RMS and the peak value of the total leakage currents for soundness arresters were a range of ... respectively. During the period of measurement, the magnitude of the leakage current didn"t show conspicious changes and there were impossible places to analyze arrester"s status due to including high THD rate in a feeder line. From the study, leakage current measurement has to be performed at a condition without running an electric train in the line, and the allowable RMS value of soundness arrester is bellow 600uA.
고압 CV 케이블에서의 부분방전 측정과 위치검출 방법에 관한 연구

This paper describes the measurement and location method of partical discharges in high voltage CV cables. Coupling capacitors were used to detect partial discharge signal. Impedance characteristic of the coupling circuit and an amplifier with a high Common Mode Rejection Ratio(CMRR) were studied to improve sensitivity of the circuit. From the calibration experiment, the sensitivity of the partial discharge detection circuit was about 100pC. Also, we confirmed that the location of partial discharges in cables can be estimated by calculation of time difference between the first pulse and the second one reflected from the other end of the cable.
