Pythium aphanidermatum에 의한 Chewing Fescue에 잎마름병 발생

Pythium blight occurred by Pythium aphanidermatum on chewing fescue cv. “Jamestowm II” from early June, 2010 and 2011 at the test field in Daegu University in Gyeongbuk Province, Korea. Disease symptoms on the turfgrass were leaf blights dying from the leaf tip and root rot, which appeared patches of brown to dark brown color or gray brown color in the field. The pathogens (40-1 isolate) of Pythium blight was isolated from the diseased leaf and crown tissue and cultured on potato-dextrose agar (PDA) for identification. Lobulate sporangia were inflated, complex structures, and filamentous sporangia were usually indistinguishable from vegetative hyphae. Sequences of ribosomal RNA gene of the fungus were homologous with similarity of 100% to those of P. aphanidermatum isolates in GenBank database. Pathogenicity was also confirmed on the chewing fescue, creeping betgrass and Kentucky bluegrass by Koch's postulates. This is the first report of Pythium blight on chewing fescue caused by P. aphanidermatum in Korea. Pythium aphanidermatum에 의한 잎마름병(pythiumblights)이 chewing fescue “Jamestowm II” 품종에서 2011년 6월 상순에 대구대학교 시험포장에서 발생하였다. 잔디에 발병증상은 잎 끝으로부터 잎마름 증상과 뿌리 썩음증상이 나타나고, 잎색은 진한갈색,회 갈색으로 나타났다.병원균은 병든 잎과 지제부에서 분리를 하였으며, 동정을위하여 PDA에서 배양하였다. 균사에는 잎 같은 포자가 복잡한 구조로 부풀어져 있고, 균사로부터 구별되지 않은 실같은 포자낭이 있다. 리보소옴 DNA의 염기서열을 분석한결과, 유전자은행 DB에 P. aphanidermatum 균주 와의 100%상동성을 나타낸다는 것을 확인하였다. 병원성은 chewing fescue, creeping bentgrass 및 Kentucky bluegrass에서 코흐의 원칙에 따라 확인하였다. 이것은 chewing fescue 종에서 P. aphanidermatum 에 의한 잎마름병을 국내에서 처음 보고 한다.

우리나라 골프장에 조성된 한지형 잔디 5종류 48품종(creeping bentgrass 9품종, kentucky bluegrass 20품종, tall fescue 10품종, perennial ryegrass 5품종, chewing fescue 4개 품종)에 대하여 봄철에 발병하는 병의 종류와 병의 심각성을 평가하였다. Rhizoctonia cerealis에 의해 늦가을부터 자연적으로 발병한 yellow patch 뿐 이었다. 잔디 종류 중에서 Perennial ryegrass 품종과 creeping bentgrass 품종에서 이른 봄에 심각하게 발생한 반면, 다른 종류의 품종들은 통계적으로 유의성이 없었다. Creeping bentgrass 품종 중에는 "Pennlinks II"가 가장 감수성을 보였다. Yellow patch의 증상은 가장자리가 자줏빛갈색을 보였으며, 직경의 크기는 5 cm-50 cm 이었다. 이결과로 볼 때 yellow patch의 발병 률은 잔디 종류와 품종 간에 큰 차이를 보였다. We investigated occurrence of yellow patch for early spring season of 48 cultivars in 5 species of turfgrass, most popularly used in Korea golf courses. Only yellow patch disease caused by Rhizoctonia cerealis was occurred naturally from late fall season. Perennial ryegrass and creeping bentgrass cultivars showed susceptibility from yellow patch in early spring, respectively. However, among There was no significantly different between the other species. Creeping bentgrass, 'Pennlinks II' cultivar was the most susceptible. Yellow patch symptom showed reddish brown with margins in color and patch showed size from 5 cm to 50 cm in diameter. Based on our results, Yellow patch showed large differences among cultivar and each turfgrass species.

Modern cities have caused the urban problem of a quality drop in residential environment like mental unstableness and increase of crimes due to overpopulation and the lack of interchange among residents since urban development focused on economic development. To solve this problem, improvement plans of residential environment centered on community have risen, and it was found that alleys and yards are most recognized as places for community formation. This study was performed focusing on alleys and yards of physical elements for community formation, and was to find their originalities from traditional villages. On the basis of the above background, the findings of this study are as follows; Village alleys were divided into entry alley, inner road-circular road, inner road-passage, opened alley and closed alley, and this division is based o. n width and location of an alley. Among these, inner road-passage and opened alley were played a role of places for social life and then community formation either by separating or connecting them. Physical properties of these village alleys included unit types of branch type or radial type, and villages of radial and circular type showed most various functions of an alley.
