This paper presents two scheduling algorithm by heuristic procedure for minimizing setup costs in the parallel processing shop subjects to a workload restriction. The facility is a man-machine system which perform tasks relative to some project which require the services of both in combination or in part. The man-machine system is a kind of systems engineering. First algorithm is concerned with the problem of minimizing maximum workload. Second algorithm involves total workload or workload balance. Each numerical example is presented.

Neyman-Pearson 검정과 Fisher 검정에 의한 비모수 통계의 고찰

This paper reviews nonparametric statistics by Neyman-Pearson test and Fisher test. Nonparametric statistics deal with the small sample with distribution-free assumption in multi-product and small-volume production. Two tests for various nonparametric statistic methods such as sign test, Wilcoxon test, Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mood test, Friedman test and run test are also presented with the steps for testing hypotheses and test of significance.

This study is to discuss risk analysis of technological systems, and guidelines in the application of hazard and risk analysis for functional safety instrumented system, and risk management of medical devices, and guidelines for use in risk management standards.
