웨이블릿 영역에서의 웨이블릿 계수들을 이용한 에지 히스토그램 추출 기법 연구

본 논문에서는 JPEG2000 기반의 영상에서 웨이블릿 영역의 웨이블릿 계수들의 비를 통해 에지 히스토그램을 추출하는 기법을 제시하였다. 기존의 MPEG-7 에지 히스토그램 기술자는 영상의 에지 정보를 공간 영역에서 추출하기 때문에 복호화 과정이 필요하게 되어 많은 연산량이 요구되고 이는 영상 검색 시간을 지연시키는 원인이 된다. 이를 보완하기 위해 JPEG2000 영상의 에지 히스토그램 정보를 공간 영역이 아닌 웨이블릿 영역에서 직접 추출하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서 사용된 웨이블릿 변환은 JPEG2000 표준에서 정한 압축 기법으로 Le Gall 5/3 필터 계수를 사용 하였다. 에지 추출을 위해 웨이블릿 계수들 중에서 2단계 웨이블릿 변환을 통해 얻어진 LH2, HL2 부 밴드의 홀수 번째 계수들의 비와 LHI과 HLI의 계수들을 사용하였다. 실험을 통해 8개의 질의 영상에 대한 NMRR 값을 비교한 결과, 제안 알고리즘에 의한 에지 히스토그램 추출이 기존 에지 히스토그램 기술자와 비교하여 성능이 떨어지지 않았고, 연산량에 있어서도 많은 감소 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. In this paper, the extraction method of the edge histogram directly using wavelet coefficients in the wavelet domain for JPEG2000 images is proposed. MPEG-7 Edge Histogram Descriptor(EHD) extracts edge histogram in the spacial domain. This algorithm has much multiplication and addition for the edge extraction because it needs the decoding processing. However because the proposed algorithm extracts the edge histogram in the wavelet domain, it doesn't need the decoding processing and it decreases multiplication and addition. The Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT) is a standard transform in JPEG2000. The proposed algorithm uses Le Gall 5/3 filter in JPEG2000 and odd coefficients in LH2 and HL2 sub-band. The edge direction can be decided to use rate of HL2 and LH2 odd coefficients. According to experiments, there is no difference of the efficiency between EHD and the proposed algorithm And the proposed algorithm is much better than EHD for multiplication and addition in the edge extraction of images.

Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) launched an intermediate scale steam explosion experiment named "Test for Real Corium Interaction with water (TROI)" using reactor material to investigate whether the molten reactor material would lead to energetic steam explosion when interacted wish cold water at low pressure. The melt-water interaction experiment is performed in a pressure vessel with the multi-dimensional fuel and water pool geometry. The novel concept of cold crucible technology, where powder of the reactor material in a water-cooled cafe is heated by high frequency induction, is firstly implemented for the generation of molten fuel. In this paper, the lest facility and cold crucible technology are introduced and the results or the first series of tests were discussed. The 5 kg of molten ZrO$_2$jet was poured into the 67cm deep water pool at 30 ∼ 95 $\^{C}$. Either spontaneous steam explosions or quenching was observed. The morphology of debris and pressure wave profiles clearly indicate the differences between the two cases.
Molybdenum이 납 중독 랫드의 말초신경내 myo-inositol uptake 시스템에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to elucidate the preventive mechanism of molybdenum on lead-induced neuropathy. An animal model of lead neuropathy was induced by feeding diet containing lead to Sprague-Dawley rat for three weeks. Four weeks aged Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into four groups: normal control group. 10ppm-lead treated group. Img/kg-molybdenum treated group, 10ppm-lead and 1mg/kg-molybdenum treated group. The parameters on neuropathy were examined by measuring concentrdtion of myo-inositol and myo-inosito uptake in sciatic nerve. In the lead-treated rats, myo-inositol concentration and myo-inositol uptake rate were reduced by from 54% to 33% respectively. This deficit results from that myo-inositol uptake system which is canier mediated and sodium-potassium dependent was inhibited by the lead treatment. However, the molybdenum administration significantly eliminated the impairment and maintained myo-inositol concentration to about 82% of normal level. These results suggest that lead-induced neurotoxicity was significantly reduced by administration of molybdenum and the mechanism might be partly normalization of myo-inositol uptake system in sciatic nerve.
인삼 분획물이 Galactosamine에 의하여 손상된 일차배양한 흰쥐의 간세포에 미치는 영향

The anti-hepatotoxic activity of Panax ginseng was studied using galgctosamine (GalN)-induced cytotoxicity in primary cultured rat hepatocytes. Panax genseng was fractionated into dammarane glycosides and protein fractions. The dammarane glycosides was further fractionated into panaxadiol and panaxantriol glycosides fractions. The protein fraction was further fractionated into four groups according to the molecular weight;larger than 10,000 dalton, between 5,000 and 10,000 dalton, between 1,000 and 5,000 dalton and between 500 and 1,000 dalton. A significant lowering action on the elevated glutamicpyruvic transaminase (GPT) activity in the culture medium of hepatocytes treated with 1.5mM GalN was noticed with all four protein fractions studied at the concentration of both 50mcg/ml and 100mcg/ml. Howevers, the effect of dammarane glycosides fractions was not significant. It was noted that the addition of 100mcg/ml of protein fractions smaller than 5,000 dalton significantly enhanced the syntheses of protein fractions significantly enhanced protein synthesis at the concentration of 100mcg/ml in the damaged hepatocytes by treatment of 1.5mM GalN.
