        魚腥草 抽出物이 肺炎誘發 생쥐의 免疫反應 및 組織變化에 미치는 影響

        In order to investigate the preventive and therapeutic effects of Herba Houttuyniae extract (H. H. ext.) on pneumonitis bearing mice, pneumonitis bearing mice induced by Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae) were established by the determination of median lethal dose(LD_50)of H.H.ext.. pathogenicity of K. pneumoniae in vivo, and minimum inhibition concentration(MIC) of H.H.ext, in vitro was performed on microorganism. Then, these experiments were performed to investigate the effects of H.H.ext. in mice, and they were delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH), antibody production to sheep erythroctes, rosette formation, natural killer(NK) cell activity of splenic lymphocyte population and histological findings with passage of time. Mice intranasally inoculated with 1×10^6 K.pneumoniae under light ether anesthesia were intravenously sensitized by 1×10^7 SRBC suspension. The results were as follows : 1. The LD_50 of H.H.ext. was orally 0.5g/㎏. 2. The MIC of H.H.ext. by water and ethanol was as flollows : In K. pneumoniae, MIC was 16㎎/㎖ in each case of stem and leaf, root extracted by water, and herb extracted by ethanol. But herb extracted by water was 32㎎/㎖. In Sta. aureus, MIC was 140㎎/㎖ in stem and leaf, herb extracted by water, but root was 160㎎/㎖. And herb extracted by ethanol was 128㎎/㎖. In Sta. pyogenes, MIC was 32㎎/㎖ regardless of water and ethanol. In E. coli, MIC was 128㎎/㎖ by water, but 64㎎/㎖ by ethanol. 3. Optimal dosage of pneumonitis induced by K.pneumoniae was 1×10^8 CFU/mouse in mouse model. 4. Comparing with normal control group, DTH reaction was significantly increased in Group 1 and 5 (P<0.05, P<0.01). 5. Hemagglutination and hemolysin titers of each experimental groups were variable, not significant against control group. 6. E rosette formation rate of spleen cells was significantly increased in Group 1, 2 and 5(P<0.05), but was decreased in Group 3 and 4. 7. NK cell activity of spleen cells was not significant between control and experimental groups. But Group 1 was gradually increased with the passage of time. Also NK cell activity of Group 2, 3 and 4 was transiently increased at the first week. 8. Typical peumonitic process was observed in Group 4 only, but mild pneumonitic process or curring process was observed in Group 1, 2 and 3. Group 5 only showed no evidence of inflammatory reaction. However, mild infiltration of lymphoidcells was noted in early stage. From these results, it is suggested that H.H.ext promotes immune response and reduces the recovery time of pneumonitis and lung abscess from the histological viewpoint.

        Pb<sub>1-x</sub>Cd<sub>x</sub>I<sub>2</sub> 단결정의 구조적 광학적 특성 연구

        $Pb_{1-x}$ $Cd_{x}$ $I_2$ (x=0.0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.0) single crystals were grown by using Bridgman method and their structural and optical properties were investigated from the measurement of X-ray diffraction, optical absorption and photoluminescence. As-grown single crystals have hexagonal closed packed layered structure. The values of lattice constant c decrease with increasing composition x. Direct and indirect transition optical energy band gaps are calculated from optical absorption spectra measured at room temperature. They increase exponentially from 2.3eV to 3.2 eV with increasing composition x. The energies of photoluminescence peak due to donor bound exciton measured at 6K increase with increasing composition . However, the peak energies of donor-acceptor pair (DAP) are independent of the optical energy band gaps of $Pb_{1-x}$/$Cd_{x}$ $I_2$ single crystals.

        선택적 레이저 용융법으로 제조된 Ti6Al4V 시편의 열처리가 결정구조와 화학적 조성에 미치는 영향

        In this study, the Ti6Al4V specimens were fabricated using selective laser melting (SLM) method (Ti6Al4V-AS group). These specimens were performed to heat treatment at 950℃ and 550℃ using vacuum electric furnace (Ti6Al4V-HT group). The mechanical properties, metallographic shape, crystalline structure, and chemical compositions of the alloy specimens before and after heat treatment were analyzed. The Ti6Al4V-AS group showed ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and low elongation values. Acicular crystal grains were observed in metallographic image and the α'-Ti phase was dominant. After heat treatment (Ti6Al4V-HT group), the UTS was lowered and the elongation was increased. In addition, a lamellar structure in which columnar crystal grains are arranged was observed, α+β-Ti phase was formed, and crystallinity increased. As a result of analyzing the chemical composition, the Ti6Al4V-AS specimen contained a higher carbon content than the Ti6Al4V-HT specimen. This high carbon content could be related to the formation of α'-phase, high strength and low elongation of the Ti6Al4V-AS specimen. Ti6Al4V-HT specimen showed that the overall carbon content was low, but the carbon content was locally high in the α-Ti phase region. Therefore, it is necessary to control effectively the incorporation of carbon gas in the production of Ti6Al4V specimens using SLM. 본 연구에서는 우수한 생체적합성과 부식저항성 그리고 기계적 특성을 갖는 Ti6Al4V 합금을 선택적 레이저 용융 (selective laser melting; SLM)법을 이용하여 시편을 제조하였다(Ti6Al4V-AS군). 이 시편들을 진공전기로를 이용하여 950℃와 550℃에서 열처리를 수행하였다(Ti6Al4V-HT군). 열처리 전후 합금 시편들의 기계적 특성, 금속 조직 형상, 결정구조 및 화학적 특성을 분석하였다.Ti6Al4V-AS 합금은 높은 항복강도와 낮은 연신율 값을 보여주었다. 금속 조직 이미지에서 침상의 결정립들이 관찰되었으며, 결정구조 분석 결과 α′-Ti 상이 지배적이었다. 열처리를 수행한 Ti6Al4V-HT 합금은 항복강도 값이 낮아지고 연신율은 증가하였다. 또한 주상 형의 결정립들이 배열된 층상 구조의 조직이 관찰되었으며, α+β-Ti 상이 형성되었고, 결정성은 증가하였다. 각 시편들의 화학적 조성을 분석한 결과, Ti6Al4V-AS 시편이 Ti6Al4V-HT 시편에 비하여 높은 탄소의 함량을 함유하고 있었으며, 이 탄소의 함량이 Ti6Al4V-AS 시편의 α′- 상의 형성과 높은 강도와 및 낮은 연신율에 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석되었다. Ti6Al4V-HT 시편의 경우 전체적인 탄소의 함량은 낮았지만, 국소적으로 α-상 영역에 탄소의 함량이 높았다. 따라서 SLM법을 이용한 Ti6Al4V 시편 제조 시 탄소 가스의 혼입을 효과적으로 제어할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

        세신뿌리가 아나필락시에 미치는 영향

        This study was investigated the inhibitory activity of RADIX ASARI (RA) on type I immediate hypersensitivity of the anaphylactic type. RA inhibited compound 48/80-induced anaphylaxis 100% with a dose of 0.5 g/㎏ body weigh at 1 h before or 5 and 10 min after injection of compound 48/80. RA also exhibited the dose-dependent inhibitory effect on compound 48/80-induced, Substance P-induced and anti-DNP IgE-induced histamine release from rat peritoneal mast cells. These results suggest the possibility that RA induced inhibition of type I allergic reaction is regulated by histamine.

        Coherence Analysis of Jaw and Neck Muscle Coordination during Chewing in Healthy Adults

        Purpose: Coordinated activity between the jaw and neck muscles is important in oral motor tasks such as chewing. This study examined coherence between the jaw and neck muscles during chewing in healthy adults. Methods: A total of 12 healthy adults underwent electromyography (EMG) of the jaw and neck muscles during right-sided chewing at a frequency of 1 Hz. Surface electrodes were placed over the temporalis (TA), masseter (MS), anterior digastric (DA), and sternocleidomastoid (SM) muscles on the right side. EMG signals were processed for coherence and phase analysis using advanced signal processing techniques. Results: The MS and TA muscle pair exhibited high synchronization when chewing (median coherence=0.992). Contrarily, the coherence values between the MS and DA, as well as the MS and SM muscle pairs, were relatively low (median coherence=0.848 and 0.957, respectively). Phase analysis revealed minimal temporal differences between the MS and TA muscle pair and the MS and SM muscle pair, whereas substantial phase shifts were observed between the MS and DA muscle pair. Conclusions: During chewing in healthy adults, the TA muscle works synergistically whereas the DA muscle antagonistically with the MS muscle, and the SM muscle supports the activity of the MS muscle. The observed synchrony and coordination provide insights into the intricate interplay among these muscles during oral motor tasks.

        TiGaS₂단결정의 광흡수 스펙트럼의 온도의존성과 Urbach tail에 관한 연구

        The optical absorption spectra of TlGaS$_2$ single crystal grown by using Bridgman method were measured at different temperature between 5 and 300 K. Abnomal energy shift of optical absortion spectra was observed in the temperature range from 5 to 60 K. It was found that TlGa$_2$ single crystal has phase transition at about 180 K from Urbach tail of optcical absorption spectra. The results of calculation steepness constant($\sigma_0$) were shown that the value of $\sigma_0$ is closed to those of ionic crystal and self-trapped exciton state which means strong exciton - phonon interaction is stable in TlGaS$_2$ single crystal. Bidgman 방법으로 성장된 TlGaS$_2$ 단결정의 광흡수 스펙트럼을 5 - 300K의 온도 영역에서 측정하였다. 5 - 60 K 저온 영역에서 광흡수 스펙트럼의 비정상적인 에너지 이동이 관측되었다. 광흡수 스펙트럼의 Urbach tail로부터 TlGaS$_2$ 단결정은 180K의 온도에서 상전이가 존재하는 것이 확인되었으며, 가파름 상수(steepness constant)값을 계산한 결과, TlGaS$_2$ 단결정의 경우 이온성 결정들과 비슷한 값을 가졌고, 강한 엑시톤-포논 상호작용을 하고 있는 자기 포획된(self-trapped) 엑시톤 상태가 안정하다는 것을 밝혔다
