        분지각이 작고 일시 개화성이 우수한 숙근 안개초 ‘드림송’ 육성

        ‘Dream Song’ is a cultivar of Gypsophila paniculata developed by the Jeollabuk-do Agricultural Research & Extension Services in 2010 for cut-flower production. This hybrid was bred from 121 seedlings collected from an open-pollinated population of ‘Gyp06-11’. It has novel morphological characteristics of upright plant type, lanceolate leaves, double florets with a few bright white-colored petals of obovate shape, truncate petal tips, and cup-shaped calyces. Furthermore ‘Dream Song’ has desirable cultivation characteristics including narrow branching angle, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew, thrips and leaf miners. Moreover it produces more primary branches, and longer internodes and flower stalks than reference cultivar ‘Bristol Fairy’ during summer cultivation in a subalpine area (500 m over the sea level). Flowering in ‘Dream Song’ is delayed by about 17 days as compared to ‘Bristol Fairy’. ‘Dream Song’ produces normal flowers with 2 pistils and an average of 10.4 stamens, with fewer malformed flowers than ‘Bristol Fairy’.

        중국 일 종합병원에서 적정 간호인력 추정을 위한 환자분류체계의 타당성 검증

        This study was to setup the basis on hospital and national nursing manpower estimation accurately according to apply patient classification system of Song`s study to China hospital system. Method: This study was surveyed to 964 patients at surgical and medical ward on Yanbian University Hospital in China from 17th to 31th January, 2005, Results: There was study results to test hypotheses for estimating optimal nursing manpower as follows, First, a trimodel classification scheme was developed which suggested three categories of patients as minimal care (category 1), moderate care (category 2), intensive care (category 3), Second, there was not significant difference with nursing time by sex, Third, there was not significant difference with nursing time by medical wards. Fourth, there was not significant difference with average nursing care time for each category of patients. Category 1 was estimated to spend average 19.59minutes for patients, Category 2 was about 35.68 minutes, Category 3 was 72.07minutes respectively, Total nursing hours was 62,610minutes, Conclusion: Patient classification system of Song`s study is validity for nursing manpower of hospital in China.

        Direct effectiveness of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine against invasive pneumococcal disease and non-bacteremic pneumococcal pneumonia in elderly population in the era of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine: A case-control study

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P><B>Background</B></P> <P>While herd effects and serotype replacement by childhood pneumococcal protein conjugated vaccines (PCVs) continues to accumulate worldwide, direct effectiveness of 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV23) against pneumococcal diseases in the elderly has been challenged. We estimated the direct effectiveness of PPV23 in the elderly population.</P> <P><B>Methods</B></P> <P>For a hospital-based case-control study, cases of invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) and non-bacteremic pneumococcal pneumonia (NBPP) (adults ≥ 65 years) were identified in 14 hospitals participated in the pneumococcal surveillance program from March 2013 to October 2015, following implementation of PPV23 national immunization program (NIP) for the elderly in the Republic of Korea. Controls matched by age, sex, and hospital were selected at ratios of 1:2 (IPD) or 1:1 (NBPP). Clinical data and vaccination records were collected. Vaccine effectiveness was calculated as (1-adjusted odds ratio) × 100.</P> <P><B>Results</B></P> <P>We enrolled 148 IPD and 557 NBPP cases, and 295 IPD and 557 NBPP controls for analyses. Overall effectiveness of PPV23 against IPD was 28.5% [95% confidence interval (CI) −5.8%–51.6%] and against NBPP was 10.2% (-15.1-30.6) in all patients ≥ 65 years. However, in subgroup analysis of patients aged 65–74 years, PPV23 was protective against IPD [effectiveness 57.4% (19.4–77.5)] and against NBPP [effectiveness 35.0% (2.3–56.7)]. Furthermore, serotype-specific effectiveness of PPV23 against IPD was 90.6% (27.6–98.8) for PPV23-unique serotypes and 81.3% (38.6–94.3) for PPV23 serotypes excluding serotype 3.</P> <P><B>Conclusions</B></P> <P>This study indicates that PPV23 with broad serotype coverage might be beneficial in preventing IPD and NBPP due to non-PCV13 serotypes in the young-elderly, with potentially increasing effectiveness in the setting of childhood PCV NIP.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> National immunization program for PPV23 for the elderly was implemented in Korea. </LI> <LI> PPV23 was effective against IPD and NBPP for young elderly patients aged 65–74. </LI> <LI> Effectiveness of PPV23 against IPD was higher for PPV23 unique serotypes. </LI> <LI> PPV23 was non-protective against IPD caused by PCV13 serotypes. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • 일부 지역 제조업체 안전·보건관계자들의 지식 및 태도에 관한 연구

        The useful preventive measure for industrial accidents in manufacturing industries could be achieved through automation, education of workers on safety, proper work practice and etc. The success of prevention of industrial accident could be haevily relied on the awareness of accident prevention of workers and management personnel in each industries. In order to obtain general awareness of industrial accident in terms of knowledge and attitude and to provide useful information for the proper preventive measure of industrial accident, questionnaire survey was done with manufacturing industries in Chunan area which has 5 and more workers. Questionnaire with 50 question items were sent to 570 relevant personnels in 471 manufacturing industries. Out of 560, 460 relevant personnel replied to the questionnaire. The results obtained were as follow; 1. While most manufacturing industries(391 industries, 86.7%) under study reported that they had full time occupational safety and health personnel, only 30 manufacturing industries(6.5%) with legal requirement of such personnel did not have relevant ones. 2. Most popular position for the personnel of safety and health duty were section chief(33.2%), and 46.8% of safety and health personnel were in the age group of 30-39. Whereas 66.9% of them were titled as production chief and management chief. 3. Most safety and health personnel(98.5%) reported that disseminated information from professional organization of occupational safety and health were very useful to carry out their safety and health duties. 4. Eight one percent respondent received safety education from governmental organization or affiliated institute and most of them (97.3%) reported that such education was very effective. 5. While 61.8% of respondent reported the necessity of field inspection by inspector for routine and consultation, 30.0% of respondent wanted document inspection without real field inspection. But most respondent replied that such inspections were useful for conducting safety and health prevention. 6. While 93.7% of respondent thought that accident prevention were helpful for production, 88.8% and 86.0 of them replied that accident prevention could influence the cost of production and quality of products, respectively which eventually influenced the competitiveness of each industries. 7. Eighty five percent of respondent replied that accident could be prevented with educational, personal and material resources. 8. While 96.5% of respondent replied that their industries provided safety education, out of them 26.2% industries thought that their safety education were superficial. The most popular frequency of safety education was once per month(56.0%) and 31.0% industries provided once a week. On the other hand 13.1% of industries provided every day safety education on regular basis. 9. While 45.2% of respondent replied that employer had strong commitment for safety and health, 41.3% of respondent replied that there were some changes and progression of employer's attitude for safety and health issues. 10. While 49.2% of respondent replied the necessity of legal requirement of safety personnel, 45.8% of respondent replied that voluntary requirement for safety personnel were more practical and helpful for accident prevention. 11. The necessity of periodic health examination were replied from most respondent(90.0%) and 73.0% of respondent thought that periodic health examination were helpful for the promotion of worker's health, but 56.4% of respondent criticized that periodic health examination were superficial and needed revision of content and method of periodic health examination. 12. Most respondent(92.7%) agreed the necessity of environmental measurement and 64.4% of respondent had their confidence on the result of environmental measurement, whereas 56.7% of respondent replied that their industries were repaired and improved according to the recommendation of environmental measurement and 85.6% of respondent replied that some kind of countermeasure for the recommendation such as supplies of personal protective equipments were done.

        Limonene - Expanded Polystyrene 혼합물의 자연발화 특성

        감용제 limonene을 이용하는 EPS 자원 재활용 공정에 있어서, limonene - EPS 혼합 액체의 저장 · 취급시의 화재위험성 평가에 대한 기초 자료로 제시하고자 혼합물의 농도 및 시료량의 변화에 따른 최저발화온도를 측정하였고, 발화와 비발화 영역을 비교하였다 발화온도를 예측하는데 있어서 가장 과학적인 원리로서 이용되고 있는 발화 지연 시간, 활성화 에너지 및 발화온도의 관계식을 선형회귀분석을 이용하여In t= 0.704/T -5.819로서 제시하였다. 또, 가연성 혼합물의 농도 변화에 따른 발화위험성을 예측하기 위하여 혼합물의 농도와 발화온도의 관계식을 비선형회귀분석을 이용하여 T_(m)=248.32+69.27X+172.60X²로서 제시하였다. 그 결과, 발화 지연 시간과 발화온도와의 관계식 및 혼합물의 농도와 발화온도와의 관계식에 의해서 limonene - EPS혼합물의 발화온도의 추정이 가능하게 되었다. In the reutilization process using limonene, the organic solvent to reduce volume of EPS, the AIT was measured with the variation of concentration and volume of mixture, in order to present the fund-mental data on the fire hazard assessment of limonene - EPS mixture at storage and handling. And ignition zone was compared with non-ignition zone. The equation related to AIT, activation energy and ignition delay time, used by the most scientific basis for predicting AIT values, was suggested using linear regression analysis as In t = 0.704/T - 5.819. And the equation related to concentration of mixture and AIT was also suggested to predict ignition hazard of combustible mixture using nonlinear regression analysis as T_(m)= 248.32 + 69.27X + 172.60X², It enabled to predict ignition temperature according to variation of ignition delay time and concentration of mixture by the suggested equations.

      • 하나로에서의 NTD 조사를 위한 중성자속 평탄화 장치의 최적화를 위한 예비분석

        NTD (Pieutron Transmutation Doping) method has several advantages of high resistivity and uniform doping in comparison with other method. To satisfy those conditions. the flux variations of radial and axial directions should be within ±5 % and ±1.7%. respectively. The NTD facility in HANARO is purposed to irradiate the silicon ingot of 60cm in height. Hence. the flux flattener will be designed for 60cm. In this paper. preliminary study for optimal design is showed and the flux distribution of axial direction is calculated using MCNP4B code. The results show that the flattener model can flatten the flux to 83% of total length.

      • 수도권 신도시 인구이동 특성에 관한 연구: 안산, 분당 신도시를 중심으로

        This study delves into the two typical new towns-Ansan, an industrial town, and Bundang, a redidential town in an effort to analyze the macroscopic reasons for the migratin of population within the Seoul metropolitan area, and the microscopic reasons for the migration of individuals, by way of descriptive statistics and in-depth questionnaire surveys. With regards to the macroscopic reasons for the inter-regional migration of population within the metropolitan area, the study has found that the population sizes and the travel distances are the utmost important factors as well as incomes and economic factors among others. With regards to the microscopic reasons for the migration of individuals, on the other hand, investments related to home and work have been found to be the strongest factors for the case of Ansan, whereas the residential environment and the housing attributes have been found to be the dominant factors in the case of Bundang. In addition, the analysis on the characteirstics of families with regard to their future demand for migration indicates that office workers, engineers, and generally higher-income groups wish to move to the Ansan area, whereas retail service workers, freelancers, professionals, and lower-income groups wish to migrate to the Bundang area. Economic reasons also show significant relevance to these factors. In this cotext, the future development of new towns in the greater Seoul metropolitan area seems to require distinct policies for the residential- and industrial towns, respectively, and also require stronger political commitments to retain stable number of population in the new towns.

      • 반월, 시화공단 악취물질의 안산지역 확산 연구

        안산지역은 인근 반월, 시화공단에서 발생하는 악취 및 부유물질로 인한 민원이 그치지 않고 있으며 그 동안 지속적인 악취저감대책에도 불구하고 근원적 해결이 안 되고 있다. 특히, 안산지역은 구지풍인 해륙풍의 영향을 강하게 받는 연안도시로 해풍의 유입과 관련한 오염물질의 이동과 확산과정을 시뮬레이션함으로써 악취민원 발생지역의 범위 예측과 고농도 발생일의 원인규명들을 위한 과학적이고도 정확한 분석이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 반월, 시화공단에서 배출되는 악취물질이 해륙풍등의 국지순환에 의하여 이동, 확산되는 과정을 규명하기 위해 대기확산모델링을 실시하였으며 모니터링자료를 이용하여 모델의 재현성을 평가하였다. There have been persistent civil appeals in Ansan area against the odor and aerosols emitted from nearby Banwol/Sinhwa industrial complex. A fundamental solution for the good air quality has not been addressed yet in spite of the continuous counterplan to reduce odor emission. A systematic and scientific study is needed to examine the reason for the odor episode and to predict the impact coverage of odor pollution. An approach by computational simulation is considered to be adequate to investigate the transportation and the dispersion processes of air pollutants blown by sea breeze toward the coastal city, Ansan. This study has employed various dispersion models to simulate the transportation and the dispersion processes of odor pollutants by a local circulation between land/sea breeze using the data set of emission rates of odorous species from the Banwol/Sihwa industrial complex.

        The thickness -extensional trapped energy mode vibrations are treated analytically. In each program the solution cinsists of a sum the dominant plate eigensolutions for shoted electrodes in the electroded resgion and for zero surface charge in the unelectroded region. The driven thickness solution is also included in the electroded region in the programs of forced vibrations. Combinations of these solutions for the infinite plate, which satisfy the differance equations and boundary conditions on the major surfaces exactry, are then employed in an appropriate variational principle of the linear piezoelectricity in order to satisfy the remaining boundary conditions at the junction between the electroded and unelectroded regions approximately.
