      • 太谿穴의 臨床 活用에 대한 文獻考察

        Literally, the mean of Tae-gye is highest brook. And on the basis of the acupuncture theory, Tae-gye point is the Soo earth point and source point of the Kidney Channel as well. In addition, Tae-gye point is one of the Yang-Returning Nine points. We were trying to study bibliographically on the Tae-gye point because Tae-gye point can be used very broadly across the symptoms in the theoretical aspect described above. As a results, we found out that according to the classical books of acupuncture, Tae-gye point is entering point of the Meridian Water as a source point and can be used at both Kidney-Sufficient Syndrom and Kidney-Deficient Syndrom. And Tae-gye can be applied to the disease of kidney or bladder that is urogenital symtoms, Also, Tae-gye is an useful option of tooth-ache, asthma, indigestion, constipation, edema etc whose cause is related with decrease of Kidney ki.

      • 급속여과법의 여층구성과 유기오염물 제거특성

        The purpose of this study was to present optimum filter configuration and removal charecteristics of TOC, THMFP and UV-254 in conventional water treatment processes furthermore the removal efficiency of algae to compare with turbidity treatment. The results of this investigation were as follow. 1. The headloss of 0.6㎜ filter media increased drastically to 180㎝ within 8hours, on the other hand the filtration time of dual layer filter was two or three times longer than that of singer layer filter. 2. Sedimentation process was effective for removing turbidity materials and organic pollutants in conventional treatment system, however the removal of those organic pollutants did not distinctively removed in filter process. 3. Algaes was removed 90~96% by settlement process and 91~98% by filter process which used the water treated by Settlement process. Scenedesmus, Cyclotella, Merosira and Fragilaria are main appearing algaes in downstream of Nak-Dong River during this experiment period. 4. It is difficult to treat soluble materials in conventional water treatment system, accordingly davanced water treatment systems are required to treat these soluble materials.

        혈청 neuron specific enolase를 이용한 심정지후 신경학적 예후의 예측

        Background: The purpose of this study was to determine that the assessment of serum neuron specific enolase(NSE) could provide a reliable early predictor of neurologic outcome after cardiac arrest. Methods: Prospective, observational study was performed from April 1996 to March 1998 at a university teaching hospital ED. Serum NSE concentrations were analysed twice at 24 and 48 hours after return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC). Neurologic outcome was categorized using cerebral performance category(CPC). Results: Twenty-nine patients(16 were men) were enrolled during the study period. The mean age was 50.8 years. Nine(31%) of them showed good outcome defined as CPC 1-3, and 20(69%) patients showed bad outcome defined as CPC 4-5. In the good outcome group, the serum NSE was revealed 33.8±9.3 ng/ml at 24 hours, 34.0±4.73 ng/ml at 48 hours. While in the bad outcome group, it was 99.5±11.7 ng/ml and 114.6±15.8 ng/ml. The NSE at 48hr after ROSC was more prescise than that of 24hr. When the cutoff value of 50 ng/ml at 48hr, the sensitivity was 82%, and specificity was 93%. Conclusion: This study suggest that the serum NSE may represent a valuable, noninvasive, and useful clinical tool for prediction of neurologic outcome after cardiac arrest.

      • 上水汚泥의 天日乾燥床에 있어서 重力脫水特性

        The main objective of this study was, at first define the effects of dewaterability on concentration dewaterability on difference of chemical composition. For this purpose, experimented on apparatus of gravity dewatering in laboratory. The results of the experiment are the following. 1.The ratios of silica to alumina were eavh 0.899, 0.641 in the water plant sludge in Busan city.(Hwamyeong, Myeong jang) Also, because of water qality changes for the worse, quantity of organics were checked high value. 2.As a result of analysis on filterability in different concentration showed that concentration was proportion to specific resistence. 3.The ratios of silica to alumina were inverse proportion to specific resistence. 4.As a result of analysis on filtration velocity of sludge in different concentration, the optimum concentration was 4.87% for the sludge dewatering by drying bed.

        This paper is studied on the effects of additive of permeability and magnetic reluctance of Ni-Zn ferrites. Ni-Zn ferrites was composed of 20mo1% NiO, 30mo1% ZnO, 50mo1% Fe₂O₃, and 0.0025n1o1%, 0.005mo1%, 0.01 mol% ??, Bi₂O₃, ?? were used as minor additive Sintering was carried oui at 1100℃. As results from the experiments, the initial permeability was proportional inversely to magnetic reluctance. It was observed that the better magnetic properties of initial permeability anti magnetic reluctance could be achieved by the additive ??.

        Simvastatin이 골결손부 회복에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : To observe and evaluate the effects of Simvastatin-induced osteogenesis on the wound healing of defective bone. Materials and Methods : 64 defective bones were created in the parietal bone of 32 New Zealand White rabbits. The defects were grafted with collagen matrix carriers mixed with Simvastatin solution in the experimental group of 16 rabbits and with collagen matrix carriers mixed with water in the controlled group. The rabbits were terminated at an interval of 3, 5, 7, and 9 days, 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks after the formation of defective bone. The wound healing was evaluated by soft X-ray radiography. The tissues within defective bones were evaluated through the analysis of flow cytometry for the manifestation of Runx2 and Osteocalcin, and observed histopathologically by using H-E stain and Masson’s trichrome stain. Results : 1. In the experimental group, flow cytometry revealed more manifestation of Runx2 at 5, 7, and 9 days and Osteocalcin at 2 weeks than in the controlled groups, but there was few difference in comparison with the controlled group. 2. In the experimental group, flow cytometry revealed considerably more cells and erythrocytes at 5, 7, and 9 days in comparison with the controlled group. 3. In the experimental group, soft x-ray radiography revealed the extended formation of trabeculation at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. 4. Histopathological features of the experimental group showed more fibroblasts and newly formed vessels at 5 and 7 days, and the formation of osteoid tissues at 9 days, and the newly formed trabeculations at 4 and 6 weeks. Conclusion : As the induced osteogenesis by Simvastatin, there was few contrast of the manifestation between Runx2 and Osteocalcin based on the differentiation of osteoblasts. But it was considered that the more formation of cells and erythrocytes depending on newly formed vessels in the experimental group obviously had an effect on the bone regeneration.

      • 世界平和와 韓國의 役割

        World peace is an ideal which mankind has been searching for a long time. The League of Nations and the United Nations, established after World War Ⅰ and Ⅱ respecetively, were the results of the desire of peace-loving people attempting to solve international disputes and conflicts by peaceful means. Following the end of World War Ⅱ through 1950's the world has experienced a period of Cold War, replaced by an era of peaceful co-existence during 1960's. In 1970's the thaw in the struggle among big powers developed which further lessened the likelihood of war among the super powers. Taking advantage of improving international atmosphere, however, north Korean Communists have disguised themselves as the champion of peace and offered many so-called "peaceful unification formulas", thus misleading the world opinion. It is the objective of this paper to correct the misinformation concerning the problem of peace in Korea and to reveal true motive of the north Korean Communists by clarifying ROK's position on the issue of peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula. Chapter Ⅰ is an introduction to this paper stating the problems and issues to be discussed in the paper. Chapter Ⅱ deals with putting Korean people's view of peace on the basis of the world peace by making clear the true idea of peace through historical development of peace theory in western history and searching the types of the world peace. Chapter Ⅲ is a study of peaceful nature of Korean people from the perspectives of Korean history. In order to make an effective analysis on above issue the Chapter is divided into three parts: first, a brief examination of the origin of Korean race; second, a study of Korean history based on mythology such as "Hong-Ik In-Gan" philosophy found in Dan-Gun myth and "So-Do" philosophy prevelant during the period of Three Hans; third, a historical recollection of numerous invasions of the Korean Peninsula by foreigners and yet the fact that at no time had Korea invaded its neighboring countries. Chapter Ⅳ deals with a period since the second World War, and particulary since the establishment of the Republic of Korea in 1948, in which the Korean Government, inheriting the spirit of peaceful nature of its people, has been pursuing peace. The Chapter is divided into two parts. The first deals with the period up to 1970 during which the R.O.K. was established (in 1948), the Korean War was erupted (in 1950), and the normalization of relations between Kore and Japan was achieved (in 1965). Internally, political stability and economic growth were realized in order to establish a firm base for an eventual peaceful unification of the Peninsula. Externally, this period saw the Republic of Korea expanding its diplomatic activities by establishing multilateral relationship with foreign countries. Since the beginning of the 1970's. President Park Chung Hee has universally published a series of epock-making plans to settle peace on the Korean Peninsula. President Park's August 15 Declaration (1970), a south-north joint communigue´ (1972), the declaration of a new foreign policy for peace and peaceful unification (1973), the proposal of non=aggression pact between the south and north (1974), and the proposal of three basic principles for peaceful unification (1974)-these are the expressions of the R.O.K.'s efforts to settle peace on the Peninsula and to contribute actively to the world peace. By studying the contribution of Korea to the world peace, it is hoped that the efforts by the Korean Government by clearly understood and this article would contribute in a small way toward the eventual unification of the Korean Penininsula.

      • 세라믹 종류에 따른 코어링 특성에 관한 연구

        A diamond core drill has been well carried out in the ceramics drilling. In this investigation, a vertical type machining center (MC) was used in the coring of Al₂O₃and Si₃N₄ceramics with a metal bonded diamond core drill. To clarify the mechanism of coring, the influences of coring conditions on the coring force, grinding ratio, succesive zone of coring were studied. At the wheel feed speed of 5.2 mm/min, and the wheel revolution of 3000rpm in Al₂O₃ceramics, the wheel speed of 2.7 mm/min, and the wheel revolution of 1500rpm in Si₃N₄ceramics, the best grinding ratio was obtained. But, from a viewpoint of coring speed, the wheel feed speed at 37 mm/min (Al₂O₃) and 10 mm/min (Si₃N₄) were best, when the coring depth was to 1 mm.

      • 돼지설사 원인균 E. coli의 생육저해에 대한 유산균의 효과

        E. coli A_2 diarrhea causing bacteria of pigs was anaerobically inoculated with 10^5/ml into prereduced YS medium (10% reconstituted skim milk+0.1% yeast extract), and then lactic acid bacteria were inoculated with 10^5/ml and 10^7ml into previous inoculated samples of E. coli A_2. Inoculated samples cultured at 37℃, were tested to determine changes in viable numbers of organisms and pH. The experimental results are summerized as follows: 1. In the mixed culture medium of 10^5/ml E. coli A_2 and L. casei YIT9018, E. coli A_2 decreased after 36 hours from incubation. 2. In the mixed culture medium of 10^5/ml E. coli A_2 and L. acidophilus, E. coli A_2 drastically decreased after 24 hours from incubation and was almost disappeared after 72 hours from incubation. 3. In the mixed culture medium of 10^5/ml E. coli A_2 and L. bulgaricus, E. coif A_2 drastically decreased after 24 hours from incubation and was almost disappeared after 72 hours from incubation. 4. In the mixed culture medium of 10^5/ml E. coli A_2 and Str. thermophilus, E. coli A_2 decreased after 12 hours from incubation. 5. When the pH value of the mixed culture, was, 4. 5 below, E. coli A_2 decreased.

      • 오존공정을 이용한 염색폐수의 처리특성에 관한 연구

        The wastewater from textile industry typically containing high alkalify, salts, organic matter, and high color. Textile wastewater is usually treated by anaerobic-aerobic activated-sludge process. The activated-sludge process is effective the reduction of organic matter, but generally does not remove color. Ozone process is one of the most effective process in removal of color for the textile wastewater. Ozone has a strong oxidized dissolution of organism, deceleration, deodorization, fumigation, etc., regarding to water. This study focused on the color removal of textile wastewater. In this study, textile wastewater was treated strongly with ozone at 650mg/hr and the flow rate through ozone contact tank was adjusted to 5L/min. In an application Ozone treatment, Color was generally decreased with time, however, COD removal effect was not that good. In this study, the removal efficiencies of CODcr and Color were 23.5%, 80.4% respectively.
