Fatigue life of damper module was evaluated in order to estimate the durability of damper module and fatigue analysis process of damper module was set up. In this paper, strain tensor of damper module was calculated using finite element analysis and was multiplied by load history which was gotten from front quarter car dynamic transient analysis by Adams. Fatigue analysis was performed using strain-life method and using Neuber뭩rule for elastic-plastic correction, cyclic stress strain, S-W-T(Smith-Watson-Topper) for mean stress correction.
SERS Immunoassay Using Microcontact Printing for Application of Sensitive Biosensors

We introduced a promising patterned substrate by using a microcontact printing method that can be used for SERS immunoassays based on antigen-antibody binding. SERS spectrum of the Raman reporter with antibody,which is rhodamine 6G (R6G) adsorbed on colloidal gold nanoparticles, was observed only for the surfaces in which prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is present on the substrate that is attached to an immobilized layer of antibody on the gold nanoparticles layer of the patterned substrate. Raman mapping images clearly showed that the antibodies on the Raman reporter were successfully and selectively conjugated with the antigen on the patterned substrate. This method could be potentially extended to multi-protein detections and ultrasensitive biosensors.

본 연구에서는 인계 난연제가 첨가된 경질 폴리우레탄 폼을 합성하여 난연제의 종류에 따른 난연성능 변화를 고찰하였다. 난연제로는 Tetramethylene bis(orthophosphorylurea) [TBPU]와 Tris(2-chloroethyl)phosphate[TCEP], Tris(2-chloropropyl)phosphate[TCPP], Triethyl phosphate[TEP]등을 사용하였다. 콘칼로리미터를 이용하여 열방출량, 질량감소율, 연기발생량, CO 및 CO₂ 발생량 등을 측정하였다. 콘칼로리미터 시험 결과 TBPU가 첨가될 경우 평균 발열량, 최대 발열량, 유효연소열, 질량 감소율, CO 및 CO₂ 발생량이 감소하였고 다른 난연제에 비하여 낮은 값을 나타내어 우수한 난연성능을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. In this study, the effect of phosphorus flame retardants on the flame retardancy of the rigid polyurethane foam(PUF) was studied. Tetramethylene bis(orthophos- phorylurea)[TBPU] and Tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate[TCEP], Tris(2-chloropropyl)phosphate [TCPP], Triethyl phosphate[TEP] were used as flame retardant. It was found that TBPU added PUF exhibits low mean heat release rate(HRR), peak HRR, effective heat of combusion(EHC), mass loss rate (MLR), CO yield and CO₂ compared other flame retardants.

The skin is the outermost barrier that directly and continuously contacts environment. In order to develop preventive strategies against skin damage, inflammation, and skin aging by the airborne particulate matter (PM) in Seoul Metropolitan area, we have been investigating the deleterious effects of PM on skin barrier, and its underlying mechanisms. Previous studies reported that PM can penetrate the barrier-damaged skin area and induce inflammatory responses in keratinocytes. Once reaching the dermal layer, PM can also inhibit collagen synthesis in dermal fibroblast. However, there are few reports about the direct effects of PM on skin barrier function. In this study, using a newly developed IoT-based at-home device measuring trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and stratum corneum hydration (SCH), we investigated the potential correlation between PM and skin barrier function in daily based measurements. Total 26 participants (13 healthy volunteers and 13 atopic dermatitis-diagnosed volunteers) were enrolled for the study and participants were administrated to measure the TEWL and SCH at least once a day for 5 months. During the same period, daily PM concentration, UV irradiation strength, ambient temperature and relative humidity data were also collected and analysed against participants-generated clinical data. As results, while skin barrier function, expressed by TEWL, in healthy volunteers was not affected by PM, impairment of skin barrier by PM was observed in atopic dermatitis patients. These results suggest that PM can aggravate skin barrier function in predisposed skin, such as atopic dermatitis. Since TEWL data can also provide the information about the basal skin barrier condition, daily based TEWL measurement can be used for not only identifying more susceptible groups for PM induced skin damages, but also evaluating the efficacy of various preventive strategies, including cosmetics.
