        기저핵부위에 국한된 외상성 뇌실질 출혈에 대한 임상적 고찰

        In this report, the authors analyzed retrospectively 20 cases of pure traumatic basal ganglia hemorrhage(TBGH) which were diagnosed and treated in our hospital between January 1990 and Jun 1995. The TBGH incidence constitutes 1.4% of all head trauma. It occures were commonly among the younger male patient groups. The main causes of trauma was motor vehicle accidents. The overall mortality rate was 15%. Low initial GCS score, fixed pupillary reflex, pathologic reflex, poor motor response and large hematoma size were all poor prognostic factors, resulting a high mortality or passimistic outcome.

        주택가격 분석을 통한 친환경인증단지 실효성 연구 : 수도권 공동주택을 중심으로 Focused on The Multi-Family Housing in The Capital Region

        The propose of this study is to evaluate the environment-friendly housing estates by the housing price analysis in the capital region of Korea For this purpose this study compares the certified and the non-certified housing estates in terms of the housing price differences between them. 20 certified and 40 non-certified estates were selected to analyze housing price difference according to the factors which affect the housing price In order to find out the evaluation factor differences T-test and Chai square were conducted and Cluster analysis was also done for the different housing estates It finds that no housing price differences between the certified and non-certified estates exist clearly It means the Environment-friendly certification system does not work effectively in the housing development in Korea From the price difference analysis this study suggests the environment elements to be provided In the new housing development It also discusses the reasons why the certification system does not operate in the housing development Finally, this study concludes with the some recommendations for the future Environment-friendly housing development

      • Electron Cyclotron Resonance O_2 Plasma에서 증착한 규소 산화 박막의 특성

        규소 산화막을 ECR-CVD(electron cyclotron resonance-chemical vapor deposition) 증착방법으로 5인치 기판위에 상온에서 증착하고, 증착공정조건인 증착율, 기판온도, 마이크로파의 세기변화 및 플라즈마 혼합기체의 비에 따른 규소 산화막의 특성을 조사하였다. 또한 산화막의 구조적인 특성을 비교하기 위해 FTIR을 이용하여 ECR-CVD 증착한 산화막, RPE-CVD(remote plasma enhanced-CVD) 증착한 산화막 및 열 산화막의 stretching frequency를 측정하였다. 측정된 결과 ECR-CVD로 증착된 산화막이 구조적인 면에서 열 산화막과 거의 같음을 보였다. ECR-CVD로 증착된 산화막의 전기적인 특성을 전류-전압 및 축전-전압 측정에의하여 분석하였다. 축전된 산화막의 전기적인 특성은 산화막의 전하 밀도는 1×10 exp (11)/㎠이였고, 평균 절연 파괴 전압은 약 6 MV/㎝이다. We have grown thin films of SiO_2 at room temperature by using an ECR-CVD system and have investigated the changes in the properties of the deposited films with changes in the processing conditions such as the deposition rate, the substrate temperature, the microwave power and the plasma gas mixing ratio. We also measured the stretching frequency of three kinds of oxides, and ECR-CVD-grown oxide, a PECVD-grown oxide, and a thermally grown oxide, using FTIR analysis to compare their structural properties. The result shows that the structural properties of the ECR-grown oxide are similar to those of the thermally grown oxide. Additionally, the electrical properties of the ECR-grown oxide were investigated by using current-voltage and capacitance-voltage measurements. These electrical results indicate that the oxide charge density and the average breakdown voltage are 1×10 exp (11) ㎝^-2 and 6 MV/㎝, respectively.

        대구지역 가로수잎의 중금속

        This study was conducted to determine the contents of heavy metals in leaves of roadside trees according to different growth stages in Daegu city. The orders of heavy metal contents in leaves of roadside tree and soil were Fe〉Mn〉Zn〉Pb〉Cu〉Cr〉Cd and Fe〉Mn〉Zn〉Cu〉Pb〉Cr〉Cd, respectively. The contents of heavy metals in leaves of roadside trees and soil showed an increasing tendency as the levels of traffic volume increased. The contents of heavy metals in leaves on October were higher than those on May.

      • AOPWIN을 이용한 Acetanilide의 광분해 특성 평가

        Acetanilide is a High Production Volume Chemical, which is produced about 2,300 tons/year in Korea as of 1998 survey. Most is used as an intermediate for synthesis of pharmaceuticals and dyes, and the chemical is one of seven chemicals of which human and environmental risk are being assessed by National Institute of Environmental Research under the frame of OECD SIDS program. The Atmospheric Oxidation Program for Microsoft Windows (AOPWIN) is used to estimates the rate constant for the atmospheric, gas-phase reaction between photochemically produced hydroxyl radicals and organic chemicals. It is also used to estimates the rate constant for the gas-phase reaction between ozone and olefinic/acetylenic compounds. The rate constants estimated by the program are then used to calculate atmospheric half-lives for organic compounds based upon average atmospheric concentrations of hydroxyl radicals and ozone. AOPWIN requires only a chemical structure to make these predictions. Structures are entered into AOPWIN by SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System) notations. In this study, one of environmental fate/distribution of the chemical elements, photodegradation of acetanilide was estimated using AOPWIN model based on SMILES notation and chemical name data.

      • 개에 있어서 耳根部의 Lidocaine 水針에 의한 全身 無痛覺의 誘發

        Twelve clinically healthy mongrel dogs were used to clarify the possibility of general analgesia induction by lidocaine aquapuncture to auricular root area in the present study. The experimental animals were devided into control (6 heads) and experimental groups (6 heads), respectively. Physiological salines (3 ml/kg) were injected into both auricular root areas in control group. Lidocaine hydrochlorides (3 ml/kg) were injected into both auricular root areas in experimental group. Superficial pain, the changes of vital signs and blood leukocytes, and PCV were examined on pre, 5 min., 15 min., 30 min, and 60 min. after injection in control and experimental groups, respectively. Analgesia was not detected at all in control group, however, all experimental animals were recumbent and analgesia was generally detected in the auricles, noses, dorsal parts, ventral areas, limbs and tails from 5 to 30 minutes after injection with lidocaine hydrochloride into auricular root areas in experimental group. As for the change of vital signs, body temperature showed decreasing tendency from 5 minutes after lidocaine injection in experimental group. Heart rates and respiration rates were increased on 5 minutes after lidocaine injection and then they showed decreasing tendency in experimental group. No significant difference were found among groups. As for the changes of hematological findings, the numbers of blood leukocytes were increased till 15 minutes after lidocaine injection and then they showed decreasing tendency. PCV values were increased on 5 minutes after lidocaine injection, and then they showed decreasing tendency. However, no significant differences were observed among groups. Considering the above findings, it was thought that general analgesia was possible by aquapuncture with lidocaine hydrochloride into auricular root areas and lidocaine aquapuncture didn’t affect so much to the changes of vital signs and blood.

        현행 피의자 구속제도 운용의 적정성 검토

        While a government is responsible for protecting its citizens' life and property by establishing the penal rights, on one hand, it is also under obligation to protect even the suspect's life and freedom at the maximum level. Our society must seek these two conflicting objectives at the same time. The government cannot improperly interfere with personal freedom for the interests of achieving the investigative objectives, and must not forego its penal rights for the sake of excessively protecting a citizen's freedom, either. At the frontline of these two conflicting values are the detention of criminal suspects and the assessment of sentences. As widely known, the detention system takes an important status to the extent that it has been called as 'beginning and ending of court decision'. Despite its critical status and functions, the current administration of Korea's detention system has demonstrated many problems. For example, since the detention requirements have been formulated with excessively terse provisions, they have been inconsistently examined depending on the judges reviewing the detention warrants. Furthermore, since even the same judges have applied the different criteria depending on the reviewing time and nature of a case, it has been difficult for even a legal expert to predict its results. While courts have drastically denied the detention warrants under the non-detention investigation principle since mid-1990s, the previous detention rate of 8-10% has dropped to the lowest level of less than 1% detention. The prosecutor office has shown its strong objection to the courts' practices for the reason that the courts' excessive rejection of detention warrants has resulted in an increase in heinous crimes as well as obstructed the substantive fact-finding by compromising the investigative efficiency. It is an important agenda to maintain the appropriate level of custodial detention, because it can be said that a balanced converging point of maximum exercise of penal rights and protection of personal freedom is a Lydian stone. This Paper reviews the appropriateness of the current operation of criminal suspect detention system by comparing Korea's court practices with those of other civilized countries. It is timely and meaningful to assess the appropriateness of Korean courts' detention practices after 20 years of Korean courts' attempts to change their earlier practices. The most desirable administration of detention system is to secure a maximum level of investigative objectives and simultaneously minimize the damaging effects on personal freedom. From this perspective, German detention system can be considered to be most rational and desirable, because it examines a written request for detention warrants and then immediately examines the necessity of extending it just after oral investigation. The USA detention system which allows the investigative entity to detain a criminal suspect without a judicial intervention cannot be a desirable process in this regard. In the same vein, the Korea's detention system which requires excessively rigorous elements is not desirable, either.
