        Isolation of lactic acid bacteria starters from Jeung-pyun for sourdough fermentation

        Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are key for the fermentation of sourdoughs to improve the quality and nutritive value of bread. The aim of this study was to isolate the LAB starter for sourdough fermentation from Jeung-pyun, a Korean traditional rice cake. Among the twenty two LAB screened, five isolates were selected based on exo-polysaccharide production. Among them, three isolates showed cell growth greater than 8.5 Log CFU/g, maximum increase in the volume of dough, and dextran concentration up to 0.16%. During the sourdough fermentation, pH and total titratable acidity (TTA) were changed, as the three isolates synthesized lactic acid and acetic acid with fermentation quotients less than 2.0. They were identified as Leuconostoc lactis EFEL005, Lactobacillus brevis EFEL004, and Le. citreum EFEL006. They displayed good fermentation properties (growth, dextran production, pH, and TTA) in dough and they are regarded as potential starters to be used in sourdough fermentation.

        Polyphasic Microbial Analysis of Traditional Korean Jeung-Pyun Sourdough Fermented with Makgeolli

        Jeung-pyun, a fermented rice cake, is prepared by fermenting rice sourdough using makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine, in the presence of yeast and lactic acid bacteria (LAB). The goal of this study was to conduct biochemical and microbial analyses of five different rice sourdoughs, each fermented with a different commercial makgeolli, using culture-dependent and culture-independent approaches. All sourdough samples fermented with different makgeolli for 6.5 h showed different profiles in pH, total titratable acidity, organic acid concentration, and microbial growth. LAB belonging to different genera were identified based on colony morphology on modified MRS and sourdough bacteria agar medium. PCRdenaturing gradient gel electrophoresis analyses of the five sourdoughs showed different bands corresponding to LAB and yeast. 16S/26S rRNA gene sequence analyses of the samples confirmed that the predominant LAB in the five fermented rice doughs was Lactobacillus plantarum, Lb. pentosus, and Lb. brevis. Various other Lactobacillus spp. and Saccharomyces cerevisiae were common in all five fermented samples. This study provides comprehensive and comparative information on the microflora involved in fermentation of rice sourdough and signifies the need to develop effective starters to enrich the quality of jeung-pyun.

        한국산 야생식용식물이 당뇨 유발 흰쥐의 혈당과 에너지대사에 미치는 영향

        The hypoglycemic effects of five Korean wild vegetables, Aralia continentalis (A. con.), Castanea crenata (C. cre.), Xanthium strumarium (X. str.), Alisma canaliculatum (A. can.) and Eupatorium chinense var. simplicifolium for tripartium (E. tri) which have been utilized for the traditional remedies were investigated in this study. Diabetes mellitus was induced in male Sprague-Dawley rats by injections of streptozotocin (STZ) into the tail veins at a dose of 45 mg/kg. Five groups of STZ-induced diabetic rats were fed one of each experimental diet containing 10% of the Korean wild vegetable powder and normal and STZ-control rats were fed the control diet for five weeks. The body weight change, feed efficiency ratio (FER) and organ weights were compared. The plasma levels of glucose, protein, cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, free fatty acid, and aminotransferase activity were determined. Mineral (Ca, K, Mg, Na, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn) contents of the Korean wild vegetables were analyzed. The body weight gain was higher in normal, C. cre., A. can. and E. tri. groups than in the diabetic control group. The FER of C. cre., A. can. and E. tri. groups was significantly higher (p<0.05) than that of diabetic control group. Liver weight was heavier in A. con., X. str. and A. can. groups compared with the diabetic control group. The weights of kidney were lighter in all five Korean wild vegetable groups than in the diabetic control group. After five weeks, the plasma glucose level tends to be decreased in A. con., A. can. and E. tri. groups. Plasma cholesterol level was decreased the Korean wild vegetables except for X. str. group. Plasma HIDL- cholesterol level was significantly higher in A. con., A. can. and E. tri. groups compared with the diabetic control group. Plasma triglyceride and free fatty acid levels were significantly higher in X. str. group compared with the diabetic control group. Mineral contents were higher in E. tri. (Ca, K, Na and Fe). The results suggest that the intakes of A. con., A. can. and E. tri. have a hypoglycemic effect in diabetic rats showing the possibility as the valuable food resources for the prevention of diabetic mellitus.

        장애인 활동지원사의 심리적 소진과 이직의도의 관계 : 전담인력의 사회적 지지 매개효과를 중심으로

        본 연구는 장애인 활동지원사들이 인식하는 심리적 소진과 이직의도, 전담인력의 사회적 지지 세 변인간구조적 관계를 탐색하여 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진과 이직의도 및 두 변인간의 관계에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 연구결과를 통하여 장애인 활동지원사의 이직의도 경감을 위한 대안마련에 기초자료로 활용하고, 궁극적으로 활동지원서비스의 품질을 높이는 데 도움이 되고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울소재 11개 활동지원서비스 기관에 근무하고 있는 장애인 활동지원사 274명을 대상으로 심리적 소진, 이직의도, 사회적 지지 척도로 구성한 설문을 실시하여, 전담인력 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 장애인 활동지원사의 심리적 소진은 이직의도를 높이고, 장애인 활동지원사가 지각한 전담인력의 사회적 지지는 심리적 소진을 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전담인력의 사회적 지지는 심리적 소진과 이직의도 간의 인과관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 장애인 활동지원사의 심리적 소진 경감 및 이직의도에 활동지원 전담인력의 사회적 지지가 미치는 긍정적인 영향력이 높음을 의미하는 결과로, 활동지원사의 이직의도를 낮추기 위하여 전담인력의 사회적 지지가 중요한 자원이 됨을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between psychological exhaustion, turnover intention, and social support of the dedicated workforce in order to investigate the effects of social support on psychological exhaustion, turnover intention of PAS assistant. Based on the results of the study, this study attempted to make the basic data for devising method to alleviate the intention to turnover of disabled PAS assistant. It was intended to help improve the quality of the activity support service. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of psychological exhaustion, turnover intention, and social support measures was conducted to 274 PAS Assistants of 11 service agencies in Seoul to verify the mediating effect of social support. In this study, the psychological exhaustion of PAS Assistantss showed a positive correlation, and the social support of the dedicated personnel perceived by the PAS Assistantss showed a negative correlation with the psychological exhaustion. Also, the social support of the dedicated workforce partially mediated the causal relationship between psychological exhaustion and turnover intention. The results of this study suggests that the social support of the dedicated personnel dedicated to support activities is high in reducing the psychological burnout and turnover intention of the PAS Assistant, it means that the social support of a dedicated workforce is an important resource in reducing the turnover intention.

      • LiDAR 반사강도와 DSM을 이용한 지상기준점 활용방안

        항공삼각측량(AT: Aerial Triangulation)은 정사영상을 제작하기 위해 필수적인 과정으로 현장측량을 통해 얻어진 지상기준점 성과와 GPS/INS를 통해 얻어진 외부표정요소를 기준좌표로 이용하여 사진상의 모든 좌표를 지상좌표화 하는 과정이다. 이 과정에서 요구되는 지상기준점은 GPS 및 토탈스테이션 등을 이용한 직접측량과 수치지형도를 이용한 간접측량 등의 방법으로 좌표를 취득한다. GPS 및 토탈스테이션을 이용한 직접측량은 현장에서 소요되는 인원, 시간, 비용 등의 경제적인 비용이 많이 소비되므로 효과적이지 않은 반면, 수치지형도로부터 지상기준점을 추출하는 경우는 수치지형도를 활용하여 직접 선점해야하는 수동적인 작업방식으로 인해 오차가 발생되며, 정확도 확보에 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 항공삼각측량을 위해 LiDAR의 반사강도와 LiDAR DSM을 활용하여 식별이 가능한 도로경계선, 방지턱, 건물 등으로 지상기준점을 선점 후, 직접 측량을 통해 얻어진 지상기준점과 비교 분석하고, 수치지형도의 허용오차를 기준으로 정확도 평가를 실시하였다. 또한 각각의 경우에서 얻어진 지상기준점을 이용하여 항공삼각측량을 실시하고 오차 분석을 실시하였다. AT(Aerial Triangulation) is the essential procedure for creating orthophoto and transforming coordinates on the photographs into the real world coordinates utilizing GCPs (Ground Control Point) which is obtained by field survey and the external orientation factors from GPS/INS as a reference coordinates. In this procedure, all of the GCPs can be collected from field survey using GPS and Total Station, or obtained from digital maps. Collecting GCPs by field survey is accurate than GCPs from digital maps; however, lots of manpower should be put into the collecting procedure, and time and cost as well. On the other hand, in the case of obtaining GCPs from digital maps, it is very difficult to secure the required accuracy because almost things at each stage in the collecting procedure should rely on the subjective judgement of the performer. In this study, the results from three methods have been compared for the accuracy assessment in order to know if the results of each case is within the allowance error: for the perceivable objects such as road boarder, speed bumps, constructions etc., 1) GCPs selection utilizing the unique LiDAR intensity value reflected from such objects, 2) using LiDAR DSM and 3) GCPs from field survey. And also, AT and error analysis have been carried out w ith GCPs obtained by each case.

        iSCSI 기반의 무선 네트워크 연결형 가상 저장장치 드라이버 구현 및 성능 분석

        iSCSI(Internet Small Computer System Interface)는 블록 중심형 스토리지 접근 프로토콜로써, TCP/IP 네트워크를 통해 원격의 스토리지를 마치 자신의 로컬 상에 있는 블록 장치처럼 접근하는 기술이다. iSCSI는 이 같은 접근을 위해 표준 이더넷 스위치와 라우터를 사용하므로 기존의 수많은 이더넷 기술의 적용은 물론 거리 제한이 없는 스토리지 확장을 가능하게 하며, 이는 곧 무선 네트워크상으로의 적용이 가능함을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 이 점에 착안, 유선 기반의 원격 스토리지 접근을 목적으로 디자인 되어진 iSCSI를 최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅(Ubiquitos Computing)등으로 관심이 모아지고 있는 임베디드 리눅스 장치에 탑재하여 모바일 기기가 가지는 저장 공간 제약 극복의 대안과, 상대적으로 제한된 무선 네트워크상에서 iSCSI 프로토콜의 성능을 평가 및 분석함으로써 그 적용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. iSCSI(Internet Small Computer System Interface) is a block-oriented storage access protocol that enables a user to recognize a remote storage as their own local block device through general TCP/IP networks. Since iSCSI uses a standard ethernet switch and router for this kind of access, it can not only be applied to ethernet technologies, but can also be used to create a storage networking system without any distance restrictions that can equally be applied to a wireless network environment. Accordingly, focusing on this applicability, this paper presents an alternative approach to overcome the limited storage space of mobile devices based on the iSCSI initiator driver, which was originally designed for wired networks. Additionally, its potential with a wireless network is also evaluated.
