A cultivation outline of green soybeans could not set mechanical seeding technics to have difference of mulched soil temperature at any seeding season. Especially, the early cropping type of green soybeans seeding that used mulcting method to get high emergence rate on low temperature season have been high labor load to seed by manual operation. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop high efficiency and precision mechanical seeding technique which have ridging and mulching same time. We developed prototype seeding machine combined with up-cut rotary, mulching seeder and the molding implement. After that, we made control device to move diching device for up and down direction. We investigated the seeding accuracy and seeding depth of the prototype seeder, and evaluated the growth and yield, respectively. As a result, it is showed that the seeding accuracy is as same as manual seeding. Although the seeding depth was shallow compared to the conventional manual seeding, it can increase seeding depth than conventional seeding. However, the measured seeding depths were shallower than the set values. This is reason why was influenced of soil compression, posture of the seeding part and covered soil after seeding. The plant length at harvest time might become longer as the seeding depth got deeper. So, we considered that it is possible to do multiple simultaneous work used up-cut ridging and mulching seeder.

Arrayed ultrasonic microsensors using piezoelectric PZT (Pb(Zr,Ti)O3) thin lms on micromachined silicon diaphragms have been fabricated and combined with BBD (Backet Brigade Device) for signal processing. The ultrasonic sensors are designed to compose an electrical phased array for three-dimensional object detection in air. The resonant frequencies of the elements were scattered in the error range of 12 % and the objects could not be detected due to the beat in the sum of delayed element waveforms. Each element has been tuned by adequate poling less than 10 V to make its resonant frequency equal to a center value. The frequency scattering was reduced within the range of 2 % and the tuned array could give the objects by summing up of the delayed signals. Three-dimensional object detection has been demonstrated using the tuned sensor combined with the BBD delay circuit.4

Background/Aims Defecation disorders (DD) are part of the spectrum of chronic constipation with outlet obstruction. Although anorectal physiologic tests are required for the diagnosis of DD, these tests are not available in many institutions. This study aims to investigate the predictivity of DD using rectosigmoid localization of radiopaque markers in a colonic transit study. Methods A total of 169 patients with refractory constipation with a mean age of 67 years were studied. All patients underwent anorectal manometry, a balloon expulsion test, and a colonic transit study. Barium defecography was performed if needed. The relationship between DD diagnosed by these anorectal tests and the rectosigmoid accumulation of markers was examined. Results Seventy-nine (46.7%) patients were identified to have DD based on anorectal test combinations. Rectosigmoid accumulation of markers was observed in 39 (23.1%) patients. The sensitivity and positive predictive value of rectosigmoid accumulation for identifying DD were 31.6% and 64.1%, respectively. Rectosigmoid accumulation provided poor discrimination of DD from normal transit constipation, at a specificity of 82.1% but with a sensitivity of only 10.6%. In discriminating DD from slow transit constipation, rectosigmoid accumulation was found to be useful with a positive likelihood ratio of 5.3. Conclusions Rectosigmoid accumulation of markers can differentiate DD from slow transit constipation. However, non-rectosigmoid accumulation does not exclude the presence of DD.
