Asymmetric gait patterns may be observed in people with neurological or musculoskeletal disorders, in addition to healthy individuals. With reference to widely accepted research, leg length discrepancy and unequal leg mass are the main and direct causes of gait asymmetry, respectively. In previous studies, the independent influences of leg length discrepancy and unequal leg mass on gait patterns were investigated. However, the simultaneous effects of these factors on the gait patterns are unclear. It is therefore necessary to examine the effect of both factors on gait dynamics to determine the factors that cause more severe gait asymmetry. In this study, the effects of leg length discrepancy and unequal leg mass on gait patterns were investigated using a passive dynamic walking model. The findings revealed that gait asymmetry was more sensitive to leg length discrepancy than unequal leg mass by a factor of 60. As the rate of leg length and mass discrepancy changed, the output parameters characterizing the entire gait apparatus, such as step period, joint angular displacement, and joint angular speed, exhibited chaotic behaviors with bifurcations. Furthermore, when leg length discrepancy and unequal leg mass were simultaneously applied to the walking model, the effects of each factor on gait independently affect the gait patterns and gait patterns did not change in a new and unpredictable manner owing to nonlinearity. We expected that the asymmetric gait dynamics investigated in this study will contribute to the development of lower limb prosthetics and the gait training of patients with gait asymmetry.

본 연구는 십대 유도 엘리트 청소년의 운동 중 신체적 외상의 정도와 관련 요인을 파악하여 청소년의 신체적 외상 개선프로그램 개발에 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 시도되었다.이를 위해 남자 67명 여자 14명 총 81명을 연구 대상자로 선정하였고 2013년 6월 1일부터 28일까지 설문조사하였다.자료는 SPSS 16.0Version으로 빈도 분석,chi-squaretest. t-test를 이용하여 분석하였다.조사 항목은 신체적 외상의 경험 여부와 빈도,부위,종류,시기,원인,치료 방법과 예방법으로 총 6개 항목이었다.결과로서 외상 경험은 77(95.1%)명,외상부위는 무릎 35(70.0%)명,종류는 타박상 42(54.5%)명,시기는 여름 54(70.1%)명,원인은 신체적 충돌 40(51.9%)명,치료방법과 예방에는 각각 병원이용 46(59.7%)명과 휴식 52(65.0%)명이 가장 높게 나타났다.이에 청소년의 운동 중 신체적 외상을 보건사회문제로 인식하고,이를 예방할 수 있는 프로그램 개발을 하는 것은 청소년들의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다. This study intends to investigate physical trauma in the adolescent during exercise of teenage elite judo players in Seoul. The subjects were male 67, female 14, totally 81 in middle and high school student and the data collected june the first to 28th, 2013. A data were analyzed frequency analysis, chi-square test and t-test using SPSS 16.0 program. The questionaire was contained 6 categories, experience, region, types, time, causes, intervention and preventionof sports injury. The highest results of each categories of this study is that experience of injury is 77(95.1%), region is knee 35(70.0%), type is contusion 42(54.5%), time is summer 54(70.1%), cause is body crash 40(51.9%), and intervention is going hospital 46(59.7%). To prevent physical trauma, we should recognize physical trauma durind exercise as a health problem. And to prevent physical trauma, relatives should make prevention prorgram for adolescent sports players. It will improve their quality of life.

This paper proposes the biomechanical driver"s seat that can reduce the pressure on cervical and lumbar, and prevent spinal disease. Lumbar spine and cervical vertebrae are important body parts that protect the central nervous system of the human body and support body loads. The proposed seat is developed based on various angles of chair, such as back―thigh angle (BTA), back rest inclination (BR), seat angle (SA), neck angle (NA), and prominence of lumbar support that affect the pressure on cervical and lumbar. To find optimal angles and prominence, all variables were considered simultaneously and the obtained comfortably optimal each angle of chair and prominence are applied to driver"s sheet.

본 연구의 배경은 카이로프랙틱 치료가 목통증환자의 관절가동범위와 통증에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 연구방법은 만성목통환자 8명, 급성목통환자 8명에게 2013년 4월부터 6월까지 각각 2주간 총 4회 카이로프랙틱 치료 후 관절가동범위와 통증 정도를 비교한 비동등대조군 실험설계이다. 자료는 SPSS 12.0 Version(Window XP)를 이용하 여 분석하였다. 결과는 급성목통환자와 만성목통환자 모두 카이로프랙틱 치료 후 관절가동범위와 통증정도에 있어 유 의한 차이가 있었다(P<.05). 결론은 급성, 만성 목통증 환자를 대상으로 카이로프랙틱 치료를 한 결과 목부위 관절가 동범위와 통증정도가 개선되었으며, 환자들의 삶의 질과 웰빙을 개선하기 위해 이에 대한 후속 연구와 임상에의 적용이 계속되어야겠다. Background: this study examined the Chiropractic therpy's influences on range of motions and pains with patients who have neck pain. Methods: In an experimental study with a two-group(chronic neck pain vs acute neck pain) design, 16 participants were enrolled for 2 weeks, 4 times, from march to april, 2013, with 8 acute neck pain patients and 8 chronic neck pain patients in chiropractic threrapy. Results: after the chiropractic threrapy, range of motions improved and pains were reduced significantly in both acute and chronic neck pain patients(P<.05). Conclusion: the chiropractic threrapy was effective in improving range of motions and reducing pains in persons who have acute and chronic neck pain. Thus, the chiropractic threrapy could be a resource for continuing study and adaptations to enhance the quality of life and well-being of neck pain patients.
