      • 韓國大豆食品의 Oligo糖 消長에 關한 硏究

        Three Korean variety of soybeans and five ordinary fermented soybean pastes collected from 5 districts were studied for oligosaccharides. Oligosaccharides in soybean (Bong Eui Variety), meju, and fermented soybean pastes were determined. The changes of oligosaccharides during the meju preparation were investigated. And then oligosaccharides hydrolyzing micro-organism was isolated and identified. The results obtained are as follows: 1) All of the three Korean variety of soybeans were detected for sucrose, raffinose, and stachyose. In case of five ordinary fermented soybean pastes, three samples collected from Seoul, Busan, and Daegu were detected for sucrose, the only one sample collected from Busan was detected for traces of raffinose and stachyose, and the rest was not detected for these oligosaccharides. 2) Bong Eui variety of soybean contained 42.3㎎/g of sucrose, 12.5㎎/g of raffinese, and 32.5㎎/g of stachyose. Meju contained 2.48㎎/g of sucrose, 0.01㎎/g of raffinose, and 0.03㎎/g of stachyose. And then fermented soybean paste contained 0.25㎎/g of sucrose. 3) As the result of steeping and cooking the soybean, the contents of sucrose, raffinose, and stachyose in soybean decreased to 66.9%, 72%, and 69.5% respectively. 4) Oligosaccharides in cooked soybean decreased a little at early stage of fermentation and almost disappeared except sucrose in 40 days. 5) Oligosaccharides hydrolyzing bacteria, strain B-12 was isolated from meju and identified as Bacillus sp.

      • 광펌핑된 루비듐 원자의 원형 편광 분광

        반도체 레이저의 주파수를 절대적으로 안정화시키기 위하여 루비듐 원자의 흡수선을 이용하였다. 이를 위해 두 개의 서로 수직인 편광자 안에 류비듐 셀을 설치하고, 광펌핑으로 루비듐 원자에 원형 복굴절을 유도하였다. 반도체 레이저에서 나온 레이저 빔이 이 셀을 통과하여 되먹임 되도록하여 광학적으로 반도체 레이저의 주파수를 안정화 시켰다. Absorption spectrum of Rubidium atoms was utilized to stabilize the oscillation frequency of a semiconductor laser. A Rubidium cell was installed between crossed polarizers and circular birefringence was induced by optical pumping. The frequency of a semiconductor laser was stabilized by optical feedback of transmitted laser beam through the optically pumped cell.

        We have examined the electrical properties of L-α-DLPC Langmuir(L) films by using a displacement current measuring technique with pressure stimulation. Displacement current was generated when the sample spread volume was about 280㎕, 360㎕ and compression velocity was about 30, 40, 50mm/min. Displacement current was generated in the range of gas state, gas/fluid state and fluid state in the course of monolayer compression. From the result, it is known that displacement current is generated in the range of high surface pressures as compression velocity become faster.

      • 아연계 탈황제의 장기연속 반응성 연구

        The zinc titanate sorbents(ZTG40) were prepared and the tests for durability and attrition resistance were carried out to develop the highly effective desulfurization sorbents. In the attrition tests for ZTG40 the results showed that the attrition resistance was 94.08% and that the sulfur capacity was maintained above 15g S/100g sorbent throughout the 100-cycle test, its maximum being 23.05g S/100g sorbent. As compared to sorbents developed by the developed countries, ZTG40 showed superior performances. In the advanced countries 15g S/100g sorbent is a yardstick of excellency for the sulfur capacity of desulfurization sorbents. Therefore, ZTG40 developed in this study has the desirable physical and chemical properties for fluidized desulfurization of coal gases.

        농산물 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸에 노출된 근로자에게 발생한 신경병 2례

        목적 : 농산물 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸에 노출된 근로자에게 발생한 신경병 2례 보고. 방법 : 피로감, 전신무력감, 어지럼증, 보행장애 등의 증상을 주소로 내원한 브롬화메틸을 사용하여 방역작업에 종사하는 건강한 20세와 18세의 근로자를 대상으로 혈액검사, 신경정도 및 근전도검사, 뇌자기공명영상 등의 임상검사와 작업력조사를 시행하였다. 결과 : 1례에서 뇌자기공명영상에서 연수와 소뇌의 양측 측충부의 고신호강도가 관찰되었고 11일 후의 추적조사에서 동일 부위의 고신호강토가 감소된 소견이 관찰되었으며 뇌병증으로 최종 진단되었다. 다른 1례는 신경전도검사에서 다발성 신경병 소견과 뇌유발전위검사에서 우측 하부 뇌간부위 병소가 관찰되었고 뇌병증 및 말초신경 병으로 최종 진단되었다. 결론 : 근로자들의 증상은 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸 노출로 인한 신경 병으로 판단되며 훈증소독과방역작업에 종사하는 근로자들의 실태조사와 안전에 대한 대책이 시급하다고 하겠다. Objectives : To report two cases of neuropathy due to methyl bromide intoxication. Methods : Workers, engaged in the fumigating process, complained fatigue, general weakness, ataxia, and hypersomnia. We evaluated them with blood tests, neurophysiologic studies and MRI and investigated their occupational history. Results : Increased signal intensities were found in the medulla oblongata and paraver mian of cerebellum in MRI and after 11 days, high signal intensities were reduced in the following MRI. In the other case, polyneuropathy and rlght lower brainstem lesion were observed In the NCV and BAEP studies. Conclusions : We confirmed that worker's symptoms were related to methyl bromide exposure in the fumigation. It is necessary that we should evaluate present condition of fumigating process and prepare appropriate methods to protect workers engaged in the fumigation.

      • 配合飼料의 需給에 관한 硏究

        Because of the increase in our national income there is a trend towards a continuing increase in the demand for livestock products. As a result it is thought that there will also be a corresponding rise in demand for assorted feeds. 1.Up until 1960 there was practically no frormula industry in our country and now the situation is that we are dependent upon imports for over 80% of our feed. 2.At the end of 1980 there were 75 factories with the facilities to produce 7,800 tons of feed daily. 3.The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries estimates that much of the frormula will be necessary to increase the production of pork from 82,000M/T in 1977 to approximately 247,000M/T in 1991. Therefore it is absolutely essential that produce devote themselves to production of frormula with a special concern for supply and price.

      • N-Benzoyl-4(5)-nitroimidazole의 가수분해반응에 대한 속도론적 연구

        The rate constants for the hydrolysis of N-benzoyl-4(5)-nitroimidazole were determined in water at the 25℃ under pseudo first order conditions by uv/vis spectrophotometer. The pH independent reaction and the hydroxide ion catalyzed reaction were observed from pH 6 to 1 and above pH 6, respectively. The D2O solvent isotope effect couldn't observe in the pH independent reaction, that is, k0 H₂O/k0 D₂O 1.0. Activation parameters in the water catalyzed reaction were calculated to △H‡ =12.3 Kcal and △S‡ = -32.6 e.u. respectively. Thus, the water catalyzed reaction is more important to nucleophilic attack to the carbonyl carbon than the protonation of the leaving group In the transition state. Above pH 6 the hydrolytic reaction showers hydroxide ion catalyzed reaction.

      • ER유체의 내구성에 관한 실험적 고찰

        This paper presents durability charateristics of electrorheological(ER) fluids which ungergo a reversible phase change depending upon the impositon of electric fields. The field--dependent Bingham properties are subjected to be altered from long time use of the ER fluid. A piston-rod system which has same mechanism as ER dampers is adopted in this study and tested by increesaing operation cycle up to 1 million. Bingham properties of initial and used ER fluids are tested and compared.
